4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Family Bush Cabin
Anita's property is a sanctuary! Quiet, beautiful, heaps of wildlife, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The family cabin is set on a hill with great views of the ridges surrounding the property and a short walk to the swimming hole. We saw wallabies, water monitors, green tree frogs, bearded dragons, birds galore, and of course Anita's pigs, chickens, horses and beautiful Bear (the dog). We did the 4WD track up the mid-property ridge which was rad. The kids had an amazing time exploring the property, looking for animals, walking the creek beds, camp fire activities, games and drawing in the cabin, playing with Bear and looking under rocks for creatures. The cabin is great too, well equipped for all our needs, plenty of cooking stuff, towels, blankets and linen, double glazed windows so it was a constant lovely temperature. Living off grid was a real treat and fun to explain to the kids. Definitely coming back for more adventures in the future. Thanks Anita for sharing your space with us 😀

Hideaway Flats
Absolutely loved the chance to explore this beautiful property again. I was lucky enough to have the place to myself, but the site is very private on it's own anyway. Anita was welcoming and helpful as always despite a rookie google maps error. The site was extremely well kept and there was plenty of space for even a large group.

The Haven Cabin
We stayed in "The Haven"" Cabin on the vast property. The cabin was in a beautiful location with great views and surrounded by a hillside full of Grass Trees. Cabin was fully equipped and was meticulously maintained. Many camp sites on the property and lots of lovely walks. Thanks Anita for your hospitality. Will recommend to our friends Joe and Kevin.
