As we are on tank rainwater, we request that guests conserve water usage. Compost toilet is accessible up a few stairs. There is wildlife around like kangaroos, wallabies, echidna and many bird species so no pets are permitted on the property. Fires are permitted in the designated Firepit provided. This has been a highlight for guests so far. Bring your own firewood or buy along the road nearby. Guests are asked to respect the quiet environment. We’d appreciate no loud music or voices from 10pm to 7am. There is a neighbouring property behind the shed and our bedroom is within range! When you book you are booking the entire camp facility. Site 1 looks west towards the family home but further enough away to feel private it overlooks the dam and has the most space for larger caravans or motor homes. Site 2 looks East and faces away from the family home. Site 3 Is nestled under the trees and overlooks the creek. All sites sit on an area of approx 1/2 Acre and can be rented seperately so you may have neighbours depending on bookings. For families with young children we have a dam and a creek so it is your responsibility to ensure that your children are supervised around these water sources. Please consider this when making your booking. Our policy is no noise after 9pm and we ask that sites be left in the same state as they were on arrival. The property is Located close to the heart of Eumundi you can take a nice stroll up the lane, enjoy a camp fire (fire pits provided for you), relax under the stars, enjoy the many cafes and restaurants with just a short 4min drive and of course the world famous Eumundi Markets is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We are also only 9mins to Cooroy and 20mins to Noosa. The beautiful town of Kenilworth is 20mins away. Large dog-proof yard; however, if outside the Hipcamp space, the dog must be on a lead. Fire pit. *Firewood available depending on weather conditions & availability* If you have your own horse and want to explore the Eumundi trail network (which is open to horses, mountain bikes, and hikers and is only 250m from our doorstep), we have a large paddock available to hire at an additional cost. *Please reach out for details. As we are on tank rainwater, we request that guests conserve water usage. Compost toilet is accessible up a few stairs. Drive down a beautiful dirt road laced with Cattle and gumtrees to a quaint little bridge that crosses a creek and you arrive at your destination. The three sites offer a peaceful place to stay overlooking a small dam. Wake up to the sounds of wildlife and even a passing by wallaby or two! The property has designated fire pits per site. You must be fully self contained with either your van, kombi or caravan. We only expect from our guests that you leave no trace behind. When you arrive over the old iron bridge you will see a gate and signage on the left. We have three sites available to book. Site 1 looks west towards the family home but further enough away to feel private it overlooks the dam and has the most space for larger caravans or motor homes. Site 2 looks East and faces away from the family home. Site 3 Is nestled under the trees and overlooks the creek. All sites sit on an area of approx 1/2 Acre and can be rented seperately so you may have neighbours depending on bookings. For families with young children we have a dam and a creek so it is your responsibility to ensure that your children are supervised around these water sources. Please consider this when making your booking. Our policy is no noise after 9pm and we ask that sites be left in the same state as they were on arrival. The property is Located close to the heart of Eumundi you can take a nice stroll up the lane, enjoy a camp fire (fire pits provided for you), relax under the stars, enjoy the many cafes and restaurants with just a short 4min drive and of course the world famous Eumundi Markets is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We are also only 9mins to Cooroy and 20mins to Noosa. The beautiful town of Kenilworth is 20mins away. Noosa RV camp was absolute paradise. The land itself is so beautiful - a woodland of eucalyptus trees next to a pond and horse pasture where you can spot kangaroos! The land is complete with a kitchen (small fridge, sink with town water, and stovetop), a lovely private outdoor shower, and a firepit & firewood. Ian was generous, responsive, and so helpful in every way - a perfect host! His dog is also the sweetest!! We wish we could have spent more time there, and we would return in a heartbeat.

We really enjoyed camping at Habitats. The check in and staff were very friendly and it was extremely easy. It is a very safe campsite with so much nature. Our kids loved watching and listening to all the animals around. The water was great and as we enjoyed paddling around the lake. All of the amenities were clean and it was great to try the beers at the bar. We had a huge amount of rain on our second night and our site in the Gums area held up well although we did see a lot of puddles around other sites. Some of the other sites also looked quite close to each other so if you aren’t afraid to walk further to the amenities and water I would recommend booking in The Gums area.

Was just going to be an over night stop. Ended up staying for 2 nights. Such a beautiful spot in the hills. Nice flat grassy spot. Kids had a ball playing. No mozzys or bugs. Tap for water hook up if you need. Cooroy only a 15 min drive with heaps to do, big playground for the kids.

About

Noosa National Park features the spectacular coastal scenery of Noosa Headland, and nearby areas around Lake Weyba, Peregian and Coolum. Surrounded by development, this park is a wildlife sanctuary, protecting beautiful stands of eucalypt forest, woodland, melaleuca wetland, colourful wallum heathland and pockets of dense vine-strewn rainforest.

While camping is not allowed in Noosa National Park, there are plenty of Sunshine Coast camping areas and caravan parks nearby, at Noosa Heads, Peregian Beach, and Coolum Beach. North of Brisbane, Noosa features spectacular coastal scenery and is a place you’re likely to spot koalas, lace monitors, cockatoos, and kookaburras. Take the beachfront Hastings Street boardwalk to join the 11-kilometre Coastal Walk, which includes the Laguna Lookout. There are 15 kilometres of marked bushland walking tracks, and you can also hit the surf at any of the surrounding beaches.

When to go

Noosa has an average daily temperature of 25°C in summer, with water temperatures around the same, dropping to 19°C in winter. Summer (December to February) is hot and humid, with some relief provided by coastal breezes, but this is the busiest time of year as Noosa is a prime holiday destination for Australians. Easter is also a popular time to visit.

Know before you go

  • Early mornings and dusk are the best times for koala spotting and birdwatching.
  • There is no wheelchair access to Laguna Lookout.
