A very secluded spot. Close to Tewantin - bit you feel a world away.
Great water access. Spectacular sunrise & sunsets. Our kids loved everything about this spot!!!! They caught fish, crabs & loved exploring the site.
Only word of caution is that there was not enough turning room for our 19ft van - so be aware of tight space on the extensive track and particularly at the campsite section.
We couldn't turn without hitting a tree, so we needed to reverse to exit which was possible, but very challenging even in perfect weather conditions.
Glenn was responsive to messages & we would recommend this site to anyone with the right set up.

Perfect private river camping getaway. The teens loved the easy river access to go off exploring and fishing in the tinny. The younger kids enjoyed kicking the ball and playing some backyard cricket in the well maintenance open area. Access to toilet a big plus!
So handy in its proximity to Tewantin and Noosaville, but so private… definitely a hidden gem!

We had a great stay even in the wet. Camping directly by the river was not possible unless you were in a pod or pop up but Glen let us camp up near the shed on the grass. to set up tents. No river views but close to the toilet. We enjoyed launching the kayak into the water and exploring the river. Mr Roo, would come and eat near us at dawn and dusk. Could hear the ocean of a night.
No issue but a little mindful at times when dressing etc as cameras are on the buildings but as you would do to keep an eye on the place when no one is there. Mozzies were THICK at times so don't forget the repellent and keep the dwellings closed up. Glen was a great host- great detail in his communications on how to access block etc. We will definitely stay again, you leave the world behind once you close that gate behind you.

Was very easy to access and find and the spot we camped at was amazing! Definitely be prepared for bug and to get bitten if you don't have bug spray, but was fun to fish off and catch some crabs. Will definitely be back.

A great place to camp and fish! We had a brilliant time over the weekend relaxing and fishing - The gravel access to the waterfront makes for a great area to sit by a camp chair and put out a few rods an some crab traps. Glenn was super accommodating as the host and kept in communication with plenty of detail to make sure we arrived OK. Bring your mozzie spray as they can get a bit heavy at times. Overall a fantastic camp area to stay at 🏕

Loved this private camping spot on the Noosa River. Just you and the odd boat going by on the river! We had no luck fishing from the shore sadly.
Was lots of puddles around after a week of rain so pitched our tent on higher ground which is gravel - you’ll want some ground mats.
Watch out for rodents - there were bite marks on our plastic food container one morning so you’ll want to ensure everything is well enclosed!

So serene and removed from the hustle and bustle. A beautiful spot to take in the serenity unless of course you are a fishy and then the peacefulness is interrupted by ‘fish on’ or ‘crab in the pot’.

Noosa river camping is a great place to stay. A quick drive from Brisbane has you by the Noosa river. The drive in through the bush in is a great start to relaxation, the site itself is very peaceful. Take your rods and crab pots. Highly recommend all mozzie precautions as is a paperbark wetland area, beautiful and serene. Lots of bird life for the twitchers.

Being able to camp within 2 meters of the water was so awesome, the campsite was better than we had expected.
The weather was a bit gloomy for the start of the trip and had essentially created a creek around our set up but it was still possible to get around easy, (ground mat was a lifesaver.)
Unfortunately not much luck with fish, but we did get multiple mud crabs each day so definitely bring some pots.
The addition of having firewood on site was a huge bonus too. Even despite being wet, the wood burnt super well and we could have nice coals almost all night.
We really wish we could’ve stayed longer, you keep forgetting you’re in national park and the only people I ever saw were on boats.
Truly a gem so close to home.

Glenns directions were clear and the secluded spot on the river was beautiful. We really enjoyed our time at this spot and will visit again. Our 2wd was ok, yet I wouldn't try in wet weather given the track to get to the spot. Well worth it when you set up camp though.

Great camping site, if you have the wrong blood type the mosquitoes will love you depending on the weather, but just take the necessary steps to protect yourself, it was a small price to pay for the not so fortunate in our crew ,,
but the overall experience was great, I’ll be back and I’ll be recommending it to my friends and family. Thanks Glenn we appreciate your effort in the camping experience and the absolute GEM you have thanks 😊

The perfect place to disconnect and recharge, just what we needed. So quiet and peaceful by the river, even enjoyed some mud crabs caught in the river. Will be back again for sure!!

Great spot right on the river. A bit tight getting a 7m camper in but other than that had a great time. Advantage having access to a toilet and all weather gravel around on the site. Mozzies weren’t too bad. Thanks Glenn we’ll be back for a more serious fishing trip. Cheers.
