Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens and chooks around the house paddock. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of cattle and our 2 donkeys or set aside for regeneration. Please read all of the following information before submitting a booking request. Requests that don’t provide the required information will not be processed. Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot! We offer a choice of sites- either Lower Sites close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property or Elevated Sites with views of the valley. LOWER SITES have access to facilities- toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Most sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. These are the only sites that caravans can access. ELEVATED SITES have stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites. When submitting a booking request, select either a Lower Site or Elevated Site. Please include your vehicle make and model, camping setup (tent/swag/camper trailer), type of toilet and ensuite tent (if requesting an elevated site) and number of occupants (adults, children, dogs). Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather dependant. We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top. Due to insurance considerations, no 'day visitors' are allowed unless they have an approved Hipcamp booking. We are a Leave No Trace campground - ensure what you bring in, leaves with you. Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Hold it Flats is a 120 acre property that borders the beautiful O'Connell River that has water all year round. Take a walk around the property to check out some of the creatures that have been built out of scrap metal and bush bars that have been built all around the property. There is nice shady trees, green grass and flat camping sites right beside the river with hot showers and flushing toilets. There is plenty of room and some great tracks for the kids and the big kids to ride their push bikes on. The swimming hole is about 2 meters deep and has big shady trees on the edge. There is also enough room for kids to bring their kayaks and have a paddle along the river. We have some hiking tracks up around the hills of our property that have amazing views of the area. All campsites can be provided with their own fire pit. You just pick your spot and we will bring a portable fire pit to you. Fire wood can be purchased at the property. All rubbish must be taken when you, there are no rubbish bins provided.

Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek, west of The Junction carpark above the camp site to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots are highly recommended. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). There are Portaloo's located at all camp sites except for the Junction and you MUST be self-contained due to the remote location. Caravans or motor homes are not permitted due to the steep terrain. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. We stayed at the Mountain View site at Yabba Creek Farm and had the most amazing time. The site is spacious, has a purpose built shelter, and is beautifully green, with stunning views all around. The shelter that’s been built is fantastic — open and airy, allowing the breeze through while still providing great cover. Having a hooked-up shower was an added bonus, and being so close to the river made the experience even more special. Kaylea and Dean are wonderful hosts. They have created a peaceful, well thought out, and truly wonderful place to relax and reconnect with nature. We can’t wait to come back — highly, highly recommend!

We were on Grey Gums site. Lovely campsite - plan to stay again! Huge space allocated - could fit multiple families. Each site has a fire pit. Creek was clean and lovely to swim in morning and afternoon. Loved seeing the horses galloping in the paddock just 30m away. Kids loved the animal petting - chickens, Guinea pig, blue tongue lizard, turkey, pony ride! Felt very private and relaxing with so much space around us.

Beautiful, large well kept sites with lawn. The Silky Oak site was shady during the day and conveniently close to both toilets and the rustic outdoor shower. We appreciate the 'maximum people per site' rule because it cant get too busy. Also loved the 'no loud music' rule! Hosts met us on arrival and were helpful and friendly, providing information regarding the camp grounds and the surrounding area etc. The access to the water from our site was a very short, easy walk. The water was amazing in that it was clean and gradually got deeper - suitable for both children and adults. We will definitely be back!

Perfect directions. We booked powered sites, unfortunately no shaded area for powered sites but luckily we had bought our own gazebo’s for shade. Bathroom amenities were clean, sensor light inside was great, so you didn't have to find light switch. Fresh water creek was nice for a quick dip. Will be on our list of places to return. Thank you

Weekend Trip to Hunchy Hills 4WD Bush Camping

Great spot for those with a sense of adventure. Pleasant camping area under the stars with fantastic bird song at night. Definitely need a 4WD with low range to get into and out of the property...semi steep decent into the camping location. Host was out of town when we arrived and quickly responsive to assist via telephone.

I really enjoyed your camping site the only thing that was wrong was that I had a small dog there were other bigger dogs not on the leash running around. Lovely and clean thanks very much 😊

Weekend Trip to Hold It Flats

We love camping at hold it flats. Love the scenery especially walking up the hill there. Always great to have a shower and love that the toilets flush. Definitely worth the visit. We have been a few times now.
