Settled in 1866 by Mr. Robert Brown. The land is now used for beef cattle and a small amount of dry land hay production. We have 3 private campsites to offer, all have good distance from each other with no visibility of other camps. Approximately 400m from other sites. We like to camp with room too! All sites are fenced off with a gate to drive in and keep the cattle out. Please select a site for more detailed description on what to expect and the extras it offers. Selecting a site will show more accurate photos of that particular location instead of every photo found here. Pets welcome however must remain on leash or tether *Please notify us if bringing a dog* Please clean up after your dog ready for the next camper. Fires permitted only in fire-rings provided. Check for local fire ban restrictions first. There is plenty of wood lying around for use (bring your axe or saw). Things to do - Send some golf balls into space -The creek is seasonal, only flowing after good rain. It will dry up in some conditions. Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Kippa’s Rest
We stayed at Kippas Rest, great private campsite and dog friendly. The other campsites looked great too for larger groups. The host was very responsive and accommodating.

The Party Hut
We love spending time on this farm! although there are 3 sites on the property, they are spread so far as to be isolated from each other. Having the camping areas fenced off is nice as the cows are very curious - they would check us out regularly! :) you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, even though it is a short drive from the city.

Kippa’s Rest
I took my 2 sons for a few days and we had a great time! The creek was flowing and the swimming holes were very refreshing. The fenced off site was massive and the kids had a lot of room to ride bikes and generally horse around without being on top of me haha! Would definitely recommend this place and will be back!

Kippa’s Rest
I took my 2 boys for a couple of days to Kippas Rest and we had a fantastic time! It had been raining so the creek was flowing and the swimming holes were really refreshing. I really liked how private the site was, we felt like we were a million miles from civilisation whilst only a short drive to shops at Fernvale. The fenced off site had ample space for the kids to play, ride bikes and just horse around. It had just the right amount of shade and also sun to recharge the batteries and had perfect green grass everywhere. 10/10 and will come back for sure, thanks Cameron you have a great property mate!

The Party Hut
One of the BEST campsites anywhere
Absolutely love camping on this property, and The Party Hut is our new favourite site for quiet bush camping weekends away. After all the rain everything is so nice and green and the couch grass at this site is just amazing and nice underfoot without the need for any mats....or thongs. The creek was flowing with the recent rains and beautiful to listen to along with the many birds in the bush. Just so relaxing here, and so much to explore in the local area if not at camp kicking back enjoying one of the best campsites you will find anywhere. Thanks Cameron, see you again.

You won’t wanna go home
What a paradise in Glamorganvale. The hosts Cameron, Miles and Pooch (I forgot to ask for the name of the cute dog) were extremely nice and helpful. The bath was an out of this world experience surrounded by nature and wildlife. A curious kangaroo even approached to check out the bath ! The signs were super easy to follow, plenty of space and privacy, awesome stars above the camp fire. Oh, and there’s fast internet and good telephone reception (in case you have to call your house-sitter to say you’ll be coming home two weeks later than scheduled). I’m with Vodafone. All in all, 11 out of 10.
