We have 3 private campsites to offer, all have good distance from each other with no visibility of other camps. Approximately 400m from other sites. We like to camp with room too! All sites are fenced off with a gate to drive in and keep the cattle out. Please select a site for more detailed description on what to expect and the extras it offers. Selecting a site will show more accurate photos of that particular location instead of every photo found here. Must be over 18 to book, under 18’s need to be accompanied by an adult over 18. Pets welcome however must remain on leash or tether *Please notify us if bringing a dog* Please clean up after your dog ready for the next camper. Fires permitted only in fire-rings provided. Check for local fire ban restrictions first. There is plenty of wood lying around for use (bring your axe or saw). Things to do - Send some golf balls into space -The creek is seasonal, only flowing after good rain. It will dry up in some conditions. Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Pull up on clear flat ground. Choose from the shady gums or open sky. You’ll camp on the edge of Sandy Creek. On your east is native forest country supporting an abundance of flora and fauna. On the West is open flat grazing country. -Current Creek Condition. Creek in flow 28-11-25 The site offers - 6x6 undercover area -Loo which is private to this site, byo toilet paper -Table and chairs -Small tank of non-potable water -2 firepits, hot plate to remain on-site -Raised bath tub with option to purchase water (extra) and heat underneath with a small fire -The site is private to you and your guests only, other sites approx 400m away. -2 lights mounted high in the trees, you must byo generator and lead. Timber can be purchased otherwise byo chainsaw/ axe. Fires must remain in the fire rings provided. There is plenty of wood lying around for use. If you have pre-ordered firewood as an extra, it will be delivered to your site. There is a container placed along the track which generally has firewood in it for sale. Operates an honesty box located on-top, $15/bag. *Dogs are welcome but must be on leash or run. Please inform us if you’re bringing your dog (via Hipcamp msg). Please pick up after your dog. 2wd access is ok, may become slippery in the wet however a 2wd will generally be ok. This site is 500m off the road, there are other camps on the property which drive past this site (the track is 50m from this site). The land is used for beef cattle and depending on grazing rotation. The campground has a perimeter fence and gates. Things to do! -Handy to camp is the Brisbane River 13mins away with preferred swimming holes at Twin Bridges or Savages Crossing. -Ewenique hobby farm around the corner at Haigslea for kids to see and feed the animals. -Bring your driving clubs and golf balls and lose them in the grassy flat with the rest of mine! -Fossick the creek line for different stones and gems. Aggate, Jasper, Chert.  -Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, 5mins away at Borallon. -Head up the road to Fernvale or Marburg to try the local coffee shops. -Bottletree Hotel is 2 mins away!! -Take a nature walk -There is a natural sandy bank next to the camp -Relax and have fun

This camp site drops slightly down from the clear flat to a level pad. Adjacent to the campsite is a natural waterhole (-generally not in flow, holds water) with gums and iron-bark trees offering semi-shaded site. For the best position, a bit of will be required for a large van (well worth it). Current creek condition. 28-11-25. Creek in flow, good rain 2wd access is ok although will become slippery under very wet conditions. Gravel is in position for the slippery parts. Generally a car will be ok. This site is private, about 1.5km from the road Please remember to book any ‘Extra’ you want at time of booking. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash or tether and not interfere with livestock. Please clean up after your dog ready for the next camper. Fires permitted only in fire-rings provided. There is plenty of wood lying around for use (bring your axe or chainsaw). If you have pre-ordered firewood as an extra, it will be delivered to your site. As an option for additional firewood, there is a container placed along the track which generally has firewood in it for sale. Operates an honesty box located on-top, $15/bag. The camp has: -undercover area (6x5) -fire pits -bbq plate for over fire. -drop toilet- byo t/p -There is a raised bath tub to set a fire underneath and have a long hot soak. (Fresh bulk rainwater is available to be delivered in the extras). -There is a floodlight in position in the trees to light up the site, you will need to bring a generator and lead. -Campsite is fenced off with a gate to keep the cattle away from camp Things to do  - Send some golf balls into space -Wading in the water holes or dam (100m south) is welcome -Brisbane river is up the road (12mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Offers fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water.  -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Kippa’s Rest offers a private, large semi shaded site for tent/camper trailer or caravans. The site is big enough to turn and manoeuvre comfortably. Kids will love enjoying the creek, drop downs, sand or water. This is strictly a leave no trace site. - Current Creek Condition. Creek in flow 28-11-25 Enter the site gate and the land drops down to a level area that is sided by Sandy Creek on 2 sides. Sandy Creek is seasonal, when it’s full there will be water wrapping around site unfenced. Please monitor children. As with all our sites, a fence and gate is in place to keep the cattle from straying around your tents etc. 2 fire pits to choose from with a hot plate that remains onsite. Self contained toilets are required by campers, no pit toilets accepted. The camp is approx 400m from other camps and is private, closed in by trees and the undulating ground. Access is best by a 4wd but if your feeling adventurous, a 2wd will generally be without issue also. Firewood can be collected from any timber already on the ground, you may bring axe/chainsaw. There is a container placed along the track which generally has firewood for sale in bags- operates an honesty box located on-top. $15/bag. Bottle Tree Hotel is a couple minutes away by drive and well worth a visit. Brisbane Valley Rail Trail closest access point is on Borallon Station Rd, 2 minutes car drive away. (If you ride to it bear in mind you will need to cross the Brisbane Valley Highway). Secluded and quiet location
