It’s one of three Hipcamps along this stretch of the creek… just after Yabba Ridge and before Maluka Park 2025 Best Hipcamp WINNER!! ***IMPORTANT. STRICTLY NO PARTIES** general socialisation noise ok, but no loud music or excessive noise. Curfew 9pm all noise. Tucked away beyond the main creek sites, this “Hidden Gem” is one of the most unique and soul-soothing campsites you’ll ever discover. Set right near the water’s edge, it boasts breathtaking views of Mount Grainger’s rugged cliff faces and forested peaks. Keep an eye out for our resident and frequently sighted platypus, lungfish, and turtles. They are often spotted right from the site. With private access to the most picturesque stretch of creek for swimming beside the huge fallen boulders, this is a must-stay location for those craving, connection, and a deeper breath of nature. - Campfires welcome in the provided fire pit. Firewood available for purchase off the farm. - No caravans, but small off-road camper trailers are okay (requires confident maneuvering around trees) - 4WD preferred, though 2WD can be accommodated with care - Designed for privacy and serenity. Your own pocket of paradise (please note, there are other sites close to this site, and other guests do paddle past and swim to the rocks especially during weekends and school holiday). Other info.. - Approx 200m to toilets and tap water. - Limited sunlight during winter. Part sun during summer. STRICTLY NO PARTIES!!! No loud music or excessive noice. Situated “a Stones Throw” away from the creek. This particular site has more sunlight than the popular adjacent site “hidden gem” but still has some shaded areas. Campers booked into Hidden Gem do need to drive past this site. Not suitable for caravans. Off road camper trailers are acceptable. 4wd preferred but can accomodate 2wd. STRICTLY NO PARTIES!!! No loud music or excessive noice. Zero tolerance on all noise after 9pm. Other IMPORTANT INFO 👇 We are within a few kilometres of a rifle shooting range. You can sometimes hear distant echos from the mountains of gun shots on occasional weekends during the day time. We have never had any complaints but important for people specifically Veterans to know incase of sensitivity to this sound. Grey Gums is a spacious site and a great site for families with children. Close to the swing and animal petting. It is the first site located on the upper bank. Part shade and sun. It’s close to toilet and also water hook up within site. Bush shower cold water only. Option to BYO hot tap and connect Frequent visits from chickens and turkey you are welcome to feed at any time in your camp.. please be mindful of booking with dogs as it’s a busy camp with animals “Grey Gums” is a short walk to the creek where you’ll have free use of the Yabba Creek Farm kayaks. Just WOW. The place was perfect. The host was welcoming and friendly. You couldn’t ask for a more picturesque place for a few days. The private space is better than any camping spot I’ve been too. This is my go to camping spot from now on. Thanks so much for making the place so beautiful.

“Mountain View"
I loved tent camping at this stunning property. The hosts are so welcoming and take such care and pride. The kids loved the pony rides, seeing all the animals and the trampoline and swing. Mountain View was the perfect spot for our group, plenty of room to play games, sit around the large fire pit and chill out in the little shed with the bar overlooking the mountain. We'll definitely be back.

We loved camping at Yabba Creek Farm. We booked ‘Hidden Gem’. What a spot, private, shady and great access to the creek. Dean was there to meet us and gave us all the info we needed for a great stay. We loved the views, swimming in the water hole and kayaking up and down the creek. A beautiful spot with excellent hosts. We’ll be back!

Dean greeted us on arrival and guided us to our spot. Hideaway is just the perfect name. Quiet area , flat overlooking the river. A path that can take you to the river. Over 4 days we saw turtles, jumping fish, beautiful kingfishers, Bilby and heard the koalas. The two toilets about 200m up the path are clean , and we had town water via a tap and a hose at our site. Great camp site if you love nature, swimming , kayaking ( supplied by host) and a quiet nights sleep as your away from other campers and they are also quiet. Perfect

Grey gums was a lovely big site, great fire pit. Property was really well maintained. Trampoline and swing for the kids. Visits rem the chickens and resident turkey. Creek was gorgeous and kids had a blast with the kayaks on offer. Great weekend! Thanks for having us

Beautiful property. Kayla and Dean are very friendly and helpful people. Very family friendly, good facilities and a beautiful swimming hole with free kayaks for use in the creek. I will definitely be coming back to this spot!

We spent the Christmas holidays camping at Yabba Creek Farm and couldn’t have asked for a batter experience. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming and approachable, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The farm is beautifully maintained, with spotlessly clean amenities and a lovely, peaceful atmosphere. With only six sites, it never felt crowded - just relaxed and quiet, exactly what we were hoping for. We stay at the “Silky Oaks” site which had water hookup which is a nice bonus, making our 10 day stay with our caravan comfortable and easy. One of the highlights was definitely the kayaks. The kids absolutely loved exploring the creek and we parents had just as much joining in. It was such a special way to sound time together and enjoy the natural surroundings. All in all, Yabba Creek Farm was the perfect place to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy a truly memorable Christmas camping holiday. Highly recommend - we’ll definitely be back!

Awesome property, best Hipcamp by far. Dean and Kaylea have really put in the effort to please guests. Clean amenities, Jacks Shack is a great undercover beer drinking paradise.

Magical place with heaps of room on campsites. Good amount of shade/sun shared throughout the day. Looking directly at the tree covered mountain from campsite was an awesome backdrop. Dean was a pleasure to deal with and very friendly and helpful. Kayaks are an added bonus you get when camping here in which you can take down the creek giving you a great peaceful paddle along the base of the mountain. Will be heading back there in the future 100%.

We had an incredible four-night stay at the Mountain View site at Yabba Creek Farm. The views were breathtaking, the grass was beautifully manicured, and the whole place felt calm and cared for. Dean and Kaylea were exceptional hosts and made us feel so welcome. One of those stays where you honestly wouldn’t change a thing - we’ll definitely be back.

“Mountain View"
Greatly enjoyed camping at Mountain View at Yabba Creek Farm. Plenty of space, and the very useful shelter structure for extra space and shade… even a spot with a cold “shower” and an outside sink with town water access. The clever side “gate” on the structure also allowed to close it us for some shade in the morning, or to open up for some sure flow. When the fireplace is all hooked up, it will be a great addition in that space in the cooler months. A reasonably short walk to turn well maintained porta-loos, and a still stroll down to the Yabba creek for a swim with the dogs, or a paddle in one of the free-to-use kayaks. A wonderful sized swimming hole, and a really enjoyable place to swim. I did find the Mountain View site could have done with a couple of trees for more shade on hot days, but the added shelter s structure certainly helps with that. This site is located at the end of the property, making it more private, and well spaced out from other sites… particularly good with our dogs. Loved our stay! Hope to come back again.

Kaylea and Dean’s property is amazing. So thoughtfully set out and everything you need is supplied, bush shower, toilet, water and kayaks to explore the creek and hopefully spot a platypus. They will even bring you firewood to your campsite if requested. The ecosystem is so diverse and healthy. We spotted many birds including the azure kingfisher. Set in the beautiful Mary Valley, this place is a must do .

We spent two lovely nights here and had a great experience. The host was very welcoming and friendly, which made us feel comfortable from the start. The camping spot is large, very private, and right next to Little Yabba Creek, making it a peaceful place to relax. We really loved that the place is pet friendly. Our dogs had an amazing time enjoying the creek, especially while we were kayaking. Having free kayaks available is a great bonus. Little Yabba Creek is beautiful and full of wildlife. We were lucky to see platypus, wallabies, fish, lizards, and many different birds. It truly felt like a special nature experience. The only small downside was occasionally hearing gunshots from nearby hunting areas, but aside from that, the place is a true paradise. We would definitely recommend it.

We stayed at Jacks Shack and loved every moment of it. The little structures around the camping areas make it different and they are an absolutely brilliant add on. The views spectacular and overall it was a very relaxing few days. Added advantage of close potable water and portaloos in close proximity an advantage. We will definitely be staying again soon.

Jacks shack is a wonderful camping spot on Kaylea and Deans farm. The shack is a great place to hang out with beautiful views of the horses and the hill side. Toilets were nice and clean. Creek and kayaks really nice. Great for a swim too! Great having town water so close too. Other campers very respectful and quiet. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing spot for camping all ages. Beautiful mountain views, well maintained, very peaceful and hosts were super friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to take more friends there. Loved it!
