Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 40 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek has ample room for fishing, swimming and even kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to manoeuvre and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at Maluka Park. Great sites, lots of space, the creek is a real bonus and we enjoyed the forest walk. And really friendly and helpful hosts. All in all a fantastic stay. We’ll be back!

Lots of time has been spent making this a notable stay. Meet and greet with an information sheet, and the host come down and give us options and guidance where to set up. Well maintained with clear grassy flat areas high along the creek. Signed walking tracks and free use of the kayaks is just the best.
