Beautiful and secluded paddock at the back of our house on one and a half acres, located in Cooloola Cove. PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING. A perfect spot to explore the area and a jump off point for K'gari/Fraser Island. Amenities include: fire pit (bring your own wood), camp oven cooking pit, full BBQ kitchen in the fully powered shed with huge commercial fridge and running/drinkable water. The kitchen includes plates/bowls/cutlery/knives/mugs/glasses/frying pans/pots, there's a toaster/kettle/microwave, a big gas BBQ with a hotplate and BBQ utensils/tongs etc. There's also camp ovens and a jaffle iron. Guests can also enjoy access to an outdoor bathroom with a shower, toilet and a beautiful claw footed bathtub! Pets are welcome, but the yard is only partially block fenced. So any escape artists would have an easy time absconding. Only a 10 min drive to Tin Can bay and 15 mins to Rainbow Beach - and a Woolworths/bakery/bottle shop 5 mins down the road. Please let us know approximate arrival times when possible, and any arrivals after 7pm, by prior arrangement. THINGS TO CONSIDER: Unfortunately we can only accommodate tent/camper trailer bookings and not large motorhomes or towed caravans of any kind. Flooding does occur during rainy season, roughly January to April, which can make the site and area inaccessible. Please check/consider conditions when booking and in the lead up to your stay. During the months of September and October we have nesting birds on the property and swooping can be issue and something to keep in mind if any of your group have an aversion to birds.  As per Hipcamp rules/insurance policy, there must be a person over 18 years old on site with any under 18s during the stay.

As we are on tank rainwater, we request that guests conserve water usage. Compost toilet is accessible up a few stairs. There is a laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. There is wildlife around like kangaroos, wallabies, echidna and many bird species so no pets are permitted on the property. Fires are permitted in the designated Firepit provided. This has been a highlight for guests so far. Bring your own firewood or buy along the road nearby. Guests are asked to respect the quiet environment. We’d appreciate no loud music or voices from 10pm to 7am. There is a neighbouring property behind the shed and our bedroom is within range! When you book you are booking the entire camp facility. It is yours to enjoy, relax, unwind, or catch up on some rest. Please advise ETA so we can greet you on arrival and show you to your campsite. Facilities. We have 3 toilets and a shower with warm water , our water is filtered, but not suitable for drinking, we advise you bring your own drinking water. Our property is situated on the banks of the great sandy strait just 400m from the Tuan Boat ramp with access to Fraser Island by boat or kayak. We are surrounded by Tuan State Forest and wetlands. There is a medium sized dam on the property for swimming.The Tuan Forshore has a park, BBQ area and picnic tables as well as garbage disposal. There is plenty of space in the surrounding forests for mountain biking, motor-biking and walking. 3km down the road in Boonooroo you will find a large park with tennis court and public BBQ's. The bowls club and Golf Club just 3km away and serve meals on weekends. This site is suitable for caravans, RV's, camper trailers. There is NO toilet facility on the property. We are VERY dog friendly and can be off lead as long as the dogs are friendly towards people and other dogs and don't bite our horses. We also have other peoples horses agisting in paddocks. Activities you can do include boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, crabbing, walking, stand up paddle boarding, bird watching, kangaroo spotting, playing in the parks, beach tennis, mountain biking, hiking etc. Camp sites are far from the main house and other sites so you can have camp fires and play music, use generators without worry. Campers will need to be self contained (rubbish and toilets) and please leave your campsite the way you found it. Don't leave toilet paper or rubbish in fire pits please. Enter / Exit the main gate by pushing the code into the key pad. Gate closes after 20 seconds once it is fully open so be quick. NOTE: ***During Summer- November, December, January and February there are midgees (sandflies) at dusk and dawn and we do recommend midgee screening or spraying the mesh on your caravan windows as the standard mozzie mesh will not keep them out. Bring coils, a fan as they hate any breeze, bug spray and long sleeved pants and tops to wear in the evenings from about 5pm-7pm!*** *4X4's are recommended if you don't stay along the fence line as it can get muddy if there has been lots of rain. If you stay along the fence line you will be fine as the roads are compact and hard and the camp sites along this fence are higher up, they are marked with Fire Pits so camp here if you want to stay dry and get a good breeze.*

Here you will be surrounded by rolling hills and magnificent mountain views without another house or human in sight. This gorgeous little cabin is fully a off grid facility catering for couples or solo stays. The cabin is fully contained with all that you need for a comfortable stay looking out over spectacular scenery. It sits nestled in between undulating hills of lush green grass, perched on the edge of a dam filled with water lillies. The spring fed dam attracts the local wildlife and our farm cows visit daily. Our new sunset BBQ area is almost finished, where you’ll be able to make delicious meals. Our property is situated on the banks of the great sandy strait just 400m from the Tuan Boat ramp with access to Fraser Island by boat or kayak. We are surrounded by Tuan State Forest and wetlands. There is a medium sized dam on the property for swimming.The Tuan Forshore has a park, BBQ area and picnic tables as well as garbage disposal. There is plenty of space in the surrounding forests for mountain biking, motor-biking and walking. 3km down the road in Boonooroo you will find a large park with tennis court and public BBQ's. The bowls club and Golf Club just 3km away and serve meals on weekends. This site is suitable for caravans, RV's, camper trailers. There is NO toilet facility on the property. We are VERY dog friendly and can be off lead as long as the dogs are friendly towards people and other dogs and don't bite our horses. We also have other peoples horses agisting in paddocks. Activities you can do include boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, crabbing, walking, stand up paddle boarding, bird watching, kangaroo spotting, playing in the parks, beach tennis, mountain biking, hiking etc. Camp sites are far from the main house and other sites so you can have camp fires and play music, use generators without worry. Campers will need to be self contained (rubbish and toilets) and please leave your campsite the way you found it. Don't leave toilet paper or rubbish in fire pits please. Enter / Exit the main gate by pushing the code into the key pad. Gate closes after 20 seconds once it is fully open so be quick. NOTE: ***During Summer- November, December, January and February there are midgees (sandflies) at dusk and dawn and we do recommend midgee screening or spraying the mesh on your caravan windows as the standard mozzie mesh will not keep them out. Bring coils, a fan as they hate any breeze, bug spray and long sleeved pants and tops to wear in the evenings from about 5pm-7pm!*** *4X4's are recommended if you don't stay along the fence line as it can get muddy if there has been lots of rain. If you stay along the fence line you will be fine as the roads are compact and hard and the camp sites along this fence are higher up, they are marked with Fire Pits so camp here if you want to stay dry and get a good breeze.*

Tony & Julie’s place is amazing! Do yourself a favour and book in here. We stayed in Summer, and there was a nice spot to setup the wee caravan where we could catch some afternoon shade. The fireplace was impressive, but we didn’t need to use it. Next time! It was great to be able to have our dog off the lead, as the property is fenced and the resident pooch friendly. The location was a perfect base to explore the Gympie and Cooloola Coast, and we spent a day in both. We’ll be back in cooler months to give that fireplace a go! Thanks Tony & Julie!

Maria and Neil are truly extraordinary human beings — warm, welcoming, and incredibly considerate. The kitchen, bathroom, and toilet are immaculately clean. We’ve used compostable toilets many times before, but this is the only place we’ve experienced where it was completely odour-free and spotless! The site itself is spacious and wonderfully quiet, surrounded by trees. The natural white noise of cicadas making the whole stay relaxing and peaceful. 25 mins drive to Noosa, yet feels like a world away. We wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

We loved our camp at sandy creek! Warren met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the camp grounds and advised the best place to set up, due to being very hot. We had the whole place to ourselves and the lake for a dip was incredible. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful, would definitely like to return.

Adored the hell out of this place, the views and the echoing silence of nature blew me away. The nature around us was pure bliss, would recommend taking a few extra solar or battery leds as it does get quite dark and you will not be able to see if the lights provided run out of power. If you are wanting a technology free getaway surrounded by nature this getaway is the one for you. Ian is very welcoming as a host, highly recommend booking through him for the perfect location!

On the slope of a hill surrounded by nature just what was described and that’s exactly what we got. Clean linen and comfy beds and all the basic utensils needed. Bring insect repellent, mozzies appear after dark. Waking up to the sound of the dawn chorus of bird song was a treat.

Loved all the windlife; kangaroos, Goannas, birds. Lake was shallow and a bit warm but still stunning. A big storm rolled through and everyone took refuge in the Bistro, was thankful to have laundry facilities to dry out wet bedding as we were camping. Thanks to the friendly staff there too.

Visited the Noosa Everglades and it was really beautiful. Definitely recommend to visit before 11 or after 2 if you would like more serenity and peace as between 11-2 is when the commercial tours operates.
