The road in told us this place was going to be good. Sites were lush green with trees that murmur in the wind and a river that gurgles as it goes thru the property. To poetic for you, well just think areas where the kids can play bare foot, toilets are super clean and hosts drop by for a chat to see if you need wood or fresh eggs.. We had a perfect spot with plenty of room. Dogs enjoyed a paddle and lying on soft grass. We liked. It so much we stayed an extra two days and would recommend it to anyone that wants a relaxed environment. Oh and did I forget they feed the animals in the afternoons, sheep, goats, ducks and I hear a baby donkey will be arriving soon.

We stayed at Site 2, which is a powered site. It was spacious and serene. Loved being able to have a campfire all throughout the stay. We all had a great time in the river, swimming, kayaking and just relaxing. Cheryl went out of her way to set up a Christmas are for the kids with some farm animals. Overall a great stay and definitely recommended.

Lovely site, only a few spots which make it feel extra spacious. The amenities are clean and well laid out. Shower for instance has a bench and several hooks, and space around the shower to change and lay out your stuff. Will definitely be returning.

My partner and I stayed at the Oasis of Hope camp for 3 nights and were amazed by how gorgeous the location is from the very beginning of the drive to our campsite. The campground is located right in the middle of a lush, green, and vibrant rainforest, with the sounds of the creek being able to be heard from your tent or swag. One of the owners of the property, Donald, even came by on our second day of camping to check in with us. We had a lovely conversation about the area and some exciting encounters with the local wildlife he’s had in the past. All in all, it feels like you’re camping in paradise, and we would also like to mention that the whole property is extremely well maintained. The showers and bathrooms are super clean, and the lawn is cut to perfection. We will definitely be back here in the future and recommending the Oasis of Hope to our friends and family!

Only 15 mins drive from the town of Macksville, 45 minutes from Coffs Harbour, 45 minutes from Port Macquarie and 20 minutes or so (but who counts) from the famous Pub With no Beer (which does have beer). This property is extremely private with a number of camp sites that have you feeling like the rest of the world no longer exists. There are six dams and views to the coast (from the top of the hill). You get to share it with a couple of horses and a few cows but it's ok they don't like sleeping in tents or caravans. Sunsets, sunrises and night time star gazing. It's an ideal place to de-stress and reconnect with nature. Welcoming self - contained campers who bring there own amenities. There is access to drinking water but otherwise everything is BYO and take away all your rubbish please. You can choose to either be completely secluded and away from everyone. 4WD access or walk in with tents. Or you can set up closer to the entrance road and roadway (more suitable to caravans). There are lovely walks on the property itself or go for a casual stroll up the dirt road but watch out for the 3 or 4 cars every couple of hours or so. Views are amazing, air is incredible and the night sky is breathtaking. Campfires are possible but only in some months. The ideal place to get away from it all but close enough to Coffs Coast Tourist attractions, including amazing places to eat. Your pet is welcome to camp with you, but please do not let them stray onto neighbours' farms or chase stock. They run the risk of being baited or shot. There is stock on the property so please leave all gates as you find them. If they are open they stay open. If closed they stay closed.
