Open area that was well mowed and lots of fire pits to use. Shower hot and clean. Loved the shop with supplies.

We had a great time with plenty of room for the dogs to play. There were some lovely spots to camp, lovely little walks and a fun playground. There were some shower was exceptional and much appreciated.

Great stop over for the night as we were traveling north. Not far from the Bruce highway easy to get too & easy to leave in the morning. Hardly any noise except for the wildlife & nature! We stayed in our tent, the sites were big. If we still had our 30ft caravan it would have fitted on the site plus parking of the car & still had room for fire pit & chairs. There was already a caravan a couple sites away. You could bring camp trailer & rv as well. You could see the stars! We would definitely come back Susan was a great host very welcoming, friendly & firewood was supplied along with the fire pit. There’s some goats & horses that you can pat, my kids loved it. You can even feed the animals! Theres no bathrooms as yet but maybe they will put in at a future date, however there was water. This place is a must stop at, there’s plenty of room & will only get bigger once they clear out more area of land your surrounded by trees & just nature!

Weekend Trip to Coonarr Creek Camp And Canoe

Just spent a long weekend at Bucca Country River Retreat, and honestly it’s the kind of place that makes you want to cancel the rest of your life and live out of a camper trailer. The property is on the river which had a great flat spot for fishing (we caught some catfish and grunters). The lush green lawn was a dream, soft and well kept. We loved the rustic style toilets and shower block which were clean with hot, full pressure. It’s quiet, spacious, and beautifully cared for. We will 100% be back!

We found ourselves unexpectedly without a camp, so jumped on and found Coonar Creek Camping - only 7 minutes via an adventurous bush track. We could've gone on the normal road but thought "what the hell!" This camp was absolutely brilliant. We had come prepared for off grid camping, so to find every need met was great. The only things we needed out of our vehicle were crockery and cutlery. We used the BBQ, the wok burner, the new cook over the fire thingy. There was a microwave, toaster, kettle, plenty of fire wood, brilliant hot shower, flushing toilet, toilet paper, washing up stuff, pots, plans. Our site was great, site 1 - Pandanus. Perfectly flat grassy area, met the friendly skippies that live in the area. Went for a walk down to the boat ramp, tinnies only entrance. We made a fantastic fire with the chopped wood (very thoughtful hosts!) Nev and Terry, we will definitely be back! Our friends joined us Saturday night and they loved it too. They will also be back!!!!

3 nights at Bucca Country River Retreat

Lovely spacious, grassed and private sites to escape for the weekend with the kids and dogs. We loved walking the trails to the creek and playing on the playground and badminton. What a bonus to get to have a shower too! Plus the kids loved patting Mary the farm dog 😊

Great spot! Beautiful views and big sites. Kids had loads of fun fishing in the river catching cat fish and a bass. Toilets and showers were also a great touch - We will be back!

OMG. Staying here was amazing!! Firepits spread around for usage, clean toilets with toilet paper and hand sanitiser. Flat campung under the trees. There is a shower but we didn't use it.

Absolutely beautiful site, we were lucky enough to be the only ones here, however the pitches are very big and spacious so we would have had a wonderful time even if the place was full. In each pitch there is a fire pit and there are lots of wood piles. Susan and Vince are lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. They introduced us to their lovely goats and ponies too! We were also fortunate enough to spot some kangaroos hopping through the camp in the evening. Would 10/10 recommend, the price is incredible and the location is perfect - right next to the highway yet still far enough away to be nice and peaceful. Will definitely be returning if we are ever back in the area!

We had a great stay, ended up staying two nights. With 3 kids under 4 in tow on their first really camping trip. all I can say they had a ball feeding the animals, playing with toys also exploring and helping with firewood collecting, we also loved nights looking in clear sky and stars with a fire going. Can’t not wait to see when fully done (in early stages). We will be back when we travel back to see friends! :)

A lovely relaxed getaway. Having power, water and beautiful clean bathrooms at such a picturesque location made for the perfect combination. We camped right by the river Aand our dog was welcome. Sarah and her family made us very welcome- I hope this venture is a great success for them.

Weekend Trip to River Run Farm Camping

Flynn’s nature camp is a beautiful hidden oasis! I was extremely surprised at how much land there was for campers to enjoy. The property itself is very well looked after, with heaps of amenities to enjoy. I was also extremely grateful for the quick and helpful responses from Janita, as I traveled at nighttime and had gotten lost, she was bubbly and friendly. Their fury friend was also a super helper, as she guided me towards the perfect hidden camp spot. Couldn’t recommend more!

The amenities are fantastic and the sites are quite large! We love camping at River Run Farm camping. Some of the animals roam around freely which we loved.. The only negative is more so to do with Hipcamp I booked three sites and couldn’t book them all on the one booking, so had to book each one separately which cost me triple booking fees! Works out to be expensive doing it this way.

Rosgrow Farm, 15 minutes off the Bruce Highway, offers secluded campsites set on a large tidal creek. There are plenty of trees and shelter. The creek offers fishing, crabbing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, boating and swimming. Fire pits and picnic areas make the sites perfect for evening relaxation with bird life and jumping fish, talking about the day's fishing or eating the day's crab catch. Limited firewood is sometimes available. It can be bought at a reasonable price about 6km along the road towards Burrum Heads.. Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet and shower and need to remove their rubbish. Particularly suitable for RVs and caravans with own toilet. Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities. Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often. Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants.

If you choose to bring your horse you will find stabling or yards under Extras as begin your booking. The cost can be seen as you view the sites. The stables are rubber floored, meaning you use minimal sawdust therefore minimal dust. They are equipped with automatic waterers and feed bins. The yards are separated so that the horses can't reach each other from one yard to the other. Please ensure these areas are cleaned before you leave. There are rakes and wheelbarrows provided near the arena and at the end of the stables for your convenience. Our sites are best suited to self contained camping but there is shower and toilet availability on the property. Peaceful Bush Camp-Wrinkles

Wrinkles camp is only one site, so no neighbours, with over 10 acres to access other areas for walking or bird watching. We have horses and cattle and it is a quiet and peaceful spot to kick back and relax. Peaceful van site or can pitch a tent, with toilet, shower, lights and electricity, all under a fully paved shed with seats. Enjoy a great fire pit in front of shed, with hand made log seats. Well behaved dogs allowed on a leash, as we have dogs and other animals on property The single campsite (yes just the one site) overlooks a large dam with jetty. Jo's road house is just up the road and has all the essentials food wise with great pizzas, and fuel. Next to Jo's is an RACQ centre and mechanics. Paradise Lost on the Burnett

I. run a cattle grazing farm in Duingal, right on the Burnett River, 18km out of Gin Gin and 60km from Bundaberg. We have 100 acres of paradise with many sites to choose from, either along our 300m of Burnett river frontage or along the winding Duingal creek tucked into seclusion. For the bigger vans we have sites up on top of the property overlooking the Burnett with just a short walk down to the water. There are NO Ammenities available so own toilet is a MUST! Bring your fishing rods, kayaks and walking shoes. There's some great fishing here including barramundi, perch, yellow belly mullet, gar - and plenty of catfish to keep the kids entertained! Don’t have a kayak, no worries. We also have kayaks available for hire. We also have the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets here, with beautiful birdlife including hawks and water eagles. Great for bird watching and photography! All campsites have access to the water unless we are advised per booking. Less than 5km down the road you will find Wallaville where there is a great local Wallaville pub, and a corner store that offers great pizza. Telstra is available for communication, and we are also only 18km from Gin Gin and around 50km from Bundaberg. Campfires permitted in the designated areas only, bring your own fire pit when possible as we have a limited number of fire pits available. when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. Plenty of fallen timber around the place to collect for firewood. I suggest U bring wood for the ist night, In case it has rained & saves the hassle first up allowing U to chill out sooner 🥂 Well behaved pets welcome, but they must be kept under control and you must pick up after them. Mango Lodge is a totally wheelchair accessible timber cabin which has an outdoor bath. 24 hour security access to your own private campsite. Free wifi, hot showers, flushing toilets, fully equipped bush kitchen and laundry. We have a designated area for dog lovers called Dogs Corner. There is a lovely paddock for the dogs to take in the country atmosphere and located right next to the 40 acre nature reserve with 4kms of walking trails, what better way to Escape, Relax and Unwind. 69 species of birds have been identified on the property to date. We also provide dog minding services! Photo updates supplied. Cost is $50 per day (add to your booking). All you need to do is supply your dog bed and food. Recently our guests enjoyed a trip to Fraser Island and were very impressed with the service provided. So if you love your fur baby and you still want to have a holiday experience, just come and stay here and we can enhance your stay by giving your fur babies a holiday too. You may be moved to a different site if your chosen site is too wet. We use Good Riddance products for the midges & mozzies during summer because it works, its non toxic + deet free. We have dry firewood (hardwood) available on the verandah for $15/15kg crate. If the site you have chosen is unsuitable, please let us know & we will allocate you a different site. We have a beautiful hobby farm on 2 and a half acres. Camping is at the front of the property where you will find vegie gardens and fruit trees. There is also a fire pit (plenty of firewood available), a trampoline and a games shed with toilet, shower and kitchenette facilities. You can purchase free range eggs in half dozen and full dozen when available, and drinks. Please ask on check-in. 200m to boat ramp with river perfect for water skiing, jet skiing, tubing and freshwater fishing (licence required as this is a stocked impoundment). On opposite side of river is Sandy Hook Boat Club where major water skiing and power boat races are held throughout the year. Located between Bundaberg and Gin Gin. Bundaberg has attractions such as the Bundy Rum Distillery, Ginger Beer Factory, a free zoo, Mon Repos Turtle Centre, lower Great Barrier Reef cruises to Lady Musgrave Island for snorkelling, great beaches some with 4WD access. Gin Gin is on the main highway to head north or south. Easy access from here to National Parks for walks and 4WDing. Being a hobby farm we have sheep which get fed every afternoon between 4 and 5. There are also chickens that free range around the campsite. Swimming pool available on request and children MUST be supervised.

Welcome to my Hipcamp! Beautiful camping area situated next to the Elliott River. 10 minutes drive to Coonarr Beach, Coonarr Wildflowers and Kinkuna National Park. Amazing Stargazing! Just a kilometer up the road from our site, you'll find a charming Dog Motel. Please keep in mind that the noise from the dog motel isn't a nightly occurrence, making it difficult to predict specific nights when it may be more active. However I've noticed that campers in caravans generally have a more insulated experience and are less affected by any early morning barking. If you prefer a quieter spot, I make it a priority to assign campers the farthest firepit, Camp 4, nestled deep in the bush, providing you with a peaceful retreat away from any noise. Additionally I'm delighted to offer electricity to all camps, ensuring your comfort and convenience during your stay. Whether you choose a campsite closer to the amenities or opt for the tranquility of Camp 4, rest assured that you'll have access to electricity. While the dog motel may occasionally add a touch of canine charm to the soundscape, I'm confident that the overall experience at my Hipcamp will be an enjoyable one.
