Enjoy a convenient and relaxing base to discover the best of Hervey Bay at our 150-acre cattle grazing farm located just 3km outside of town, with plenty of space for campers. To access the farm, turn right off the Maryborough Highway into Chapel Rd, then turn right at the picnic table beside the bikeway, and do not drive over the cattle grid. The entrance is right beside the grid with reflectors on each post. If you're having trouble finding the entrance, please call Ray at 0459247041 or Judy at 0459247042. We offer numerous camping sites on cleared land lined by trees, near to our gully and seasonal creek. Each site is private and offers plenty of space. Campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, but there is a 24/7 dump station just 2km away. A stone's throw from the campsites is access to the mobility corridor/bike path, which takes you straight into Hervey Bay and continues all the way past the shops to Urangan pier, offering 15km of ocean frontage to explore. Our farm is located about 2.5km from both hospitals (private and government) for any care that you may need. All specialists and consulting facilities are very convenient. Next door to the campsites is our fantastic local cafe, The Depot Espresso Bar, open at 6 in the morning. They're happy to take orders for our campers from 5:30 if you knock! It's perfect for hopping on your bike from camp, grabbing your morning caffeine fix, and continuing on the day's biking adventure. Campfires are permitted, but please BYO firepit, and there is plenty of fallen timber you are welcome to collect and split yourself. Pets are welcome too! Kids under 5 stay free and don't need to be included in the booking group count. Check-in is welcome after 9 am and you can depart anytime.

All we needed. A place to pull up overnight and leave the van for a day. Host very helpful. Site was plain and no facilities as we knew beforehand but suitable for us

Great quiet unpowered site for $30 per night. Location close to overpriced Hervey Bay. Never saw Ray or Judy so have no opinion on their friendliness or helpfulness.

I was unaware your unpowered sites were in a better location. I didn’t check my hip camp messages after speaking with you as we were arriving. Very noisy especially when a not so nice person decided to do circle work on the highway at midnight one night. So I’m reluctant to review your hipcamp

Paradise Just Outside The City

Judy's place was terrific! Judy was very helpful with anything we needed during our stay and gave us lots of ideas of places we could check out in the area. The camp itself was tranquil and peaceful. We enjoyed a lovely sunset while we watched the cows graze in the distance. Judy's camp was very close to the city and beach and the best part, accessible to the city from the Hervey Bay Rail Trail which takes you to the city and all the way to the Uranaan Pier. We would stay here again next time we are in Hervey Bay.

Nice quiet spot not far from town. Lovely coffee shop nearby with fantastic coffee. If you want to escape the crowds for a little peace this is the spot to go. Great spot for dogs off leash too.
