River Run Farm Camping is situated on the banks of the beautiful Mary River within the spectacular Fraser Coast region. The historic Maryborough town centre and the quaint village of Tiaro is right on our doorstep for anything you may have left behind or if you just feel like a country pub meal and a cold beer. We offer large grassy mowed sites both powered and unpowered, river front and tree shaded areas with some unpowered sites having their own fire pits. Fully equipped large camp kitchen with microwave, television, fridge,fire place and BBQ's, large communal firepit great for camp ovens and power points to charge your devices and a Playground for the Kids. We offer the best hot showers with beautifully clean toilets; our amenities even contain a washing machine and a kid’s bathroom with a claw foot bath. A Dump point is located at the front of our property. River Run offers: farm animals, swimming, excellent fresh water Fishing (Bass, Barra, yellow belly, prawn and silver perch), boat ramp, bike track and kayaking on the river is spectacular. River run has an amazing variety of bird life due to the large body of fresh water and pristine habitat creating a great environment for spotting native animals including wallabies, echidna and platypus, which have been sighted at the boat ramp. We are pet friendly too as long as your animals remain on a leash and are under full supervision at all times. River Run is only a short drive away from lots of great experiences, Markets, Mural trail, horse riding, adventure activities, history, museums, Festivals, art and culture that are sure to inspire. Thursday is market day in Marybrough with live music, town tours, great food fruit and veggies. Book a horse riding adventure with Hucknall Horses only 10mins away or drive on up to Hervey Bay and go whale watching or day trip to the incredible Fraser Island or Rainbow Beach. 4wd in one of the many local forestry areas and see the brumby herds. There is so much to see and do on the Fraser Coast. Just so much to see and do.

We had an amazing trip with a small group of friends and lots of kids. Michelle was so accommodating and friendly, she put on some activities for the kids and was super easy going. The facilities were wonderful, the best stocked camp kitchen and bathrooms, the hot showers were great and the toilets were always clean. We loved the sports field with soccer nets and badminton and volleyball. The slip and slide was a huge blast, kids and adults had so much fun! It was amazing value and we absolutely loved it. Thank you so very much for a wonderful weekend of fun and joyful memories.

I loved tent camping at River Run Farm Camping it was so peaceful and the was kayaks to use, animal feeding, waterside and night entertainment on one of the nights I would recommend.

Unpowered 32 - The point
Overall we had a fairly positive experience, the camp site was clean the grass was mowed, the camp kitchen was next level and the amenities were very clean, my son and myself had 5 days fishing, the only issue was with site 32 was we were the furtherest away from the boat ramp for launching our kyaks, there was a kids disco one evening, and wasn't forewarned of this event, when I asked for the music to be turned down I was told it, sorry it's a kids disco, I wasn't asking for the music to stop just turned down a little, great venue for kids, would recommend going on a week day if your looking for serenity, Also there was only 2 showers and two Loo's, for the men and the ladies, the ques were incredible in the mornings, need more amenities.

We loved camping on Michelle’s property, so much to do with the kids, camp kitchen is so cool. Was a great few days to unwind and paddle down the river. Definitely would stay again !

BOAT RAMP Unpowered 22
Loved the campsite 22 at Michelle's place. It was away from the amenities, but we are self sufficient anyway. We have a large kayak so being near the boat ramp was what we wanted. There's an awesome camp kitchen for communal functions. You can be as social as you like here. Plenty of powered sites, but understandably, none near the river due to flooding possibly. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent campsite with great views of the river and good access to throw a tinny in the river. The animals and activities for the kids were a great touch to make our camping trip even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

We went not realising there was fun activities for the kids and then when it came to pack up camp the kids got to go for a tractor ride and feed the animals while the parents got to pack up camp in piece. Highly recommend great outlook and fun activities. 10/10

The best hipcamp stay we've stayed at so far. The activities for the kids were excellent (slip"n slide, animal feeding, disco, rock hunt), facilities were great, large shared kitchen, very good spacing between sites, camp fires allowed and fire pit provided at some sites. There is a dirt road leading up to the venue but is easily travelled in a 2wd.

Unpowered 25 - Budget Carols Corner
Had the most amazing long weekend camping here! Absolutely beautiful place to stay, they do/put on so much for the kids. My kids absolutely loved it there especially the tractor ride to feed the animals, and the slip and slide. Will be back sooner rather then later.. 10/10 would recommend 👌

BOAT RAMP Unpowered 21
River Run Farm and Campground was excellent. The proximity to the river, the clean and well-stocked amenities, the activities available for children, and the kayaks available for use all made for an excellent camping trip over the May long weekend. Although we didn't require them, the camp kitchen fridges, appliances etc. are a generous inclusion, and for travellers without power or equipment would be an incentive for staying at River Run.

RIVERFRONT Unpowered 37 (4wD Only)
We loved the tranquil serenity of being by the river. Beautiful views to wake up next to. Sitting down and enjoying a few bevvies in the afternoons. Could hear the kids laughing at the entertainment that was put on for them, they all seemed to have a ball. Very stress free long weekend. Will definitely be telling friends and family and will also return ourselves. Loved it. Certainly for all types of campers and caravaners.

Fantastic family run camp. Daily animal feeding for the kids was great and a tractor ride too! Old school slip and slide and kids disco. Beautiful spot, really great amenities. Activities are on Public Holidays and school holidays. Lovely family that run it, greatly appreciated all their efforts.

Really enjoyed our trip to River run farm camping! only our second trip in the van, lovely amenities if we needed them! kids had a blast with the play area, bike track, slip n slide and creek! Easy access and lovely grounds!

Great place to stay, doesn’t matter if you need power or not, amenities are great, fun things for kids to do as well as feeding the animals, some sites have fire pits to use, others require your own pit, great camp kitchen, even a boat ramp

I loved the camping spot on site 14 at River Run Farm Stay, there was a beautiful view and so much room the kids had so much fun feeding the animals and doing the slide ( of cause the big kids did too) we will definitely be back.

One of the best hip camps we’ve been, too if not the best. Facilities were unbelievably good and well maintained. Great for the kids with the farm animal feeding and the playground as well as the bmx track. Couldn’t recommend this stay more. Very happy customer

We had a powered site, it was nice and spacious. Very well kept farm, nice clean toilet and showers. Great hot showers. Nice walk around the place. Great place for families, fair bit for kids to do. We would go back very nice place. Shelly was great to get on the phone if needing anything. Thank you kindly.

River Run was such a beautiful little gem. It offered so much more than expected. The hosts put on weekend activities for the kids which was unexpected and so cool. We loved the quirky kids bath shack! I even had a soak. We would definitely checking this place out.

Michelle, the host, was absolutely amazing and made everyone feel welcome from the start. The kids’ activities were fantastic—well-organized, Feeding the animals, and engaging. Our son had an incredible time, made new friends, and didn’t want to leave. It really made the whole camping experience even more special for our family.
