River Run Farm Camping is situated on the banks of the beautiful Mary River within the spectacular Fraser Coast region. The historic Maryborough town centre and the quaint village of Tiaro is right on our doorstep for anything you may have left behind or if you just feel like a country pub meal and a cold beer. We offer large grassy mowed sites both powered and unpowered, river front and tree shaded areas with some unpowered sites having their own fire pits. Fully equipped large camp kitchen with microwave, television, fridge,fire place and BBQ's, large communal firepit great for camp ovens and power points to charge your devices and a Playground for the Kids. We offer the best hot showers with beautifully clean toilets; our amenities even contain a washing machine and a kid’s bathroom with a claw foot bath. A Dump point is located at the front of our property. River Run offers: farm animals, swimming, excellent fresh water Fishing (Bass, Barra, yellow belly, prawn and silver perch), boat ramp, bike track and kayaking on the river is spectacular. River run has an amazing variety of bird life due to the large body of fresh water and pristine habitat creating a great environment for spotting native animals including wallabies, echidna and platypus, which have been sighted at the boat ramp. We are pet friendly too as long as your animals remain on a leash and are under full supervision at all times. River Run is only a short drive away from lots of great experiences, Markets, Mural trail, horse riding, adventure activities, history, museums, Festivals, art and culture that are sure to inspire. Thursday is market day in Marybrough with live music, town tours, great food fruit and veggies. Book a horse riding adventure with Hucknall Horses only 10mins away or drive on up to Hervey Bay and go whale watching or day trip to the incredible Fraser Island or Rainbow Beach. 4wd in one of the many local forestry areas and see the brumby herds. There is so much to see and do on the Fraser Coast. Just so much to see and do.

Awesome farm stay!! Kids loved the bike track and slip n’ slide! The animals were so adorable and friendly. The camp bathrooms were clean and the kids bath was adorable. Communal camp kitchen and fire place is great. 10/10 would recommend. We can’t wait to come stay for longer next time.

We had a large group of around 40 which was good to have the space but nothing really around unless you are right on the river front camp sites. The unpowered sites were very uneven for sleeping in a tent. The toilet and shower facilities were great, clean and great shower pressure. Camp kitchen was good. Kids enjoyed the playground, animal feed and the water slide on the Saturday. Good for a night or two with kids, wouldn’t go if I didn’t have children.

River run farm was great for our group of 9 families - plenty for the kids to do with the swings, creek, places to explore, farm animals and a special treat on Saturday with the water slide. Also great camp kitchen and with the different camping locations available on the farm you could leave some good distance between others campers.

The Oasis ( Group site)
We loved it here, we stayed at the oasis as a big group, heaps of space, right next to the bmx track and a tyre swing area. Host was great and friendly, Saturday was filled with fun activities for the kids, especially the slip and slide.

Had a great week camping with family and friends. Was an awesome spot by the river with easy access to drop the boat in the Mary. The kids activities and animals were awesome fun for the kids and made the trip so good. We would highly recommend.

River Run Farm & a beautiful peaceful place, it’s easy to find & just a quick 15/20min drive to Harvey Bay. We stayed 3 nights with no issues. We even ventured over to feed the farm animals (horses, pony’s, goats, chickens, pigs & turkeys) The amenities are beautifully clean & if you want the best shower you have ever had ladies head to the last shower on the right, it’s the bomb!

Fantastic camp site! We had a wonderful, peaceful stay here. We stayed on the budget ‘hilly’ plots but found they were only slightly on a hill and were nice and spacious with a field of donkeys right next to us! The camp grounds are very well kept, it was lovely having animals wandering around. The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean and showers lovely and hot. Would highly recommend.

Im a touring artist on my family values tour for my next years album release and have been too many places and by far this camp site goes far abd beyond on how family friendly it is amazing camp kitchen beautiful river great showers one of the best sites ive been too in Australia highly recommended and u can even feed the animals which my children loved the shetlon ponies and the padel boards the hosts are amazing 12 stars definitely worth a visit peace and love too tge hosts for your amazing beautiful farm Matty Chop The Mad Aussie rocker 🤘🌹

Lovely setting, clean amenities, great bird life. Great for kayaking on the river. River side sites have no access to the water but there is a good boat ramp further up. Very steep track leading down to sites 35 to 40 but we just got out ok as we only have an Avan. Tons for kids to play on but one round swing had frayed rope holding it up. Strangely the owner never appeared which is different to other farm stays we've done. Overall a very relaxing friendly place.

We had a great time. Michelle was lovely our granddaughters missed out on the animal feeding but Michelle gave them a scavenger hunt and they found all the things she asked for so they all got a prize the kids loved searching for everything on the list. All of the amenities were great too. The campground was well kept and the sites are a great size Next time we stay we’ll try the sites near the river.😁💖💖

We had such a lovely stay! The tent side of the campsite was peaceful, spacious and well maintained, with clean amenities and beautiful surroundings. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy a fire and unwind. We would definitely stay again!

We as a group enjoyed staying at unpowered 14 and 15. It was nice and quiet. The camp kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. will be back again.

Absolute gem of a river retreat. Michelle the host was great to communicate with, was happy to shift my campsite for me when I realised I was between 2 families (I was away for my 30th with my husband I know you can’t have it all but I didn’t want to be drinking around families and their young kids and I could see another camp site was free for the weekend) Campsites are large and well maintained, there’s firewood constantly stocked up the road and a dump site for loos. Michelle also tells you where you can take your general waste to dispose of. The bathrooms are very clean, 2 hot showers with great pressure, 2 toilets and 2 sinks with mirrors for both women and men’s. A new twin tub washing machine and a big laundry room with a big clothesline space. Huge dining hall (outdoor), massive kitchen with everything you could need and bbqs to use. Huge tables as well for big family breakys. I came with my husband but this is a great family destination, Michelle runs a feeding time of all the animals they have. Michelle genuinely loves having guests and their kids, a young girl fell off her bike and Michelle went and picked her up and took her back to mum, it was really sweet. Loved this hipcamp!!

Really beautiful place with lots to do for kids. The animals, the river, lots of kids, dog friendly. Our son's favourite - an abandoned excavator:). Clean toilets and showers. The only thing - it gets pretty loud at night with the road noise (at least of you are staying by the river where we were). Overall, would totally come back.

Great location. And attentive hosts. We had site 36 down by the river which was lovely and partially shady. Kids enjoyed the play park which just needs a little maintenance to bring it up to 100%. Camp kitchen is clean and well equipped. A little bit of road noise from the Bruce Hwy but it didn’t spoil our trip. Would recommend this site. Super value too.

Kids and I loved this place. Easily 1 of our new favourites. So many animals for the kids to feed and pat, hot showers with good pressure, massive camp kitchen with fire place, clean and well maintained campsites. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic Hipcamp, the best one we have stayed at by far. Toilets , showers , massive camp kitchen with large fire pit , kids play equipment , easy river access , animal feeding for kids and even a slip and slide 100% recommend and definitely will be back to stay again!

Highly recommend staying here. The sites and facilities are well maintained. The camp kitchen is amazing. The kids loved the animal feeding and water slide. Will definitely return.
