Farm Stay Camping
We really enjoyed the River Run Farm Stay …. Michelle went out of her way to bring our grandkids feed for the horses & cows on our visit when we were the only people there. When some more families arrived she took the kids on a Ute ride to see the other farm animals which was a wonderful experience for the kids. Great camp kitchen, lovely flat grassed sites and a fun adventure playground. Dog friendly also which is essential for us being full time travellers. Thanks again Michelle we will be back.

Unpowered 32 - The point
Great Farm Stay
We loved camping at River Run with our friends, site 32 was lovely and spacious, it does run in a slight slope but that was not an issue for us. All over sites in that section are flat. The kids loved feeding the Cows and Donkeys, were lucky enough to collects some chicken eggs and check the pigs getting fed. Daily visit from the ponies and horses in the paddock surrounding our section was definitely the highlight. Amenities were clean with the best shower pressure I’ve ever had while camping. We didn’t use the river due to the recent weather producing a very fast flowing river and all our kids were 8 and under. We did observed others getting their boats and skis out and they were definitely having a great time. Shelley was a lovely and approachable host and great with the kids at animal feeding. Definitely recommend a trip to River Run.

First time staying here I was surprised with the lack of river view & only a boat ramp for river access. The muddy water for use was a tad disappointing as was lack of drinking water. A 4 night stay having to take rubbish with you puts a fair amount of stress on nearby town bins or next stop which is the only option if still travelling. Kids being allowed to sit in the tray of a moving ute is unacceptable in this day & age, very disappointed to see that. I am not a killjoy for farm kids but practical when it comes to kids obeying rules when it comes to safety.

Loved it. We got rained out during set up but the camp kitchen provided amazing shelter for the kids. The showers are amazing, really hot and huge shower heads with great pressure. Toilets are nice and clean. The kids LOVED the bath. Heaps of open space. They don't overbook so you end up like sardines. The animal feeding is so much fun and the kids get to ride in the back of the ute, just adding to the experience. Would definitely return! Thanks Shelly for having us!

BOAT RAMP Unpowered 22
Great Location and Amenities!
This was our first time here, and what a joy! We've found somewhere we shall come back too, often, with the kids and love it's not too far from home. Easy to find, and the map on the booking, along with signage on the property, made it easy for us to find our spot on arrival and navigate everything. We did the boat ramp camping spot. While a bit of a walk to the amenities, it was a compromise for a shaded spot camp. The kids loved the animals. Loved the location to the river.

Budget Unpowered 19 Hillside
No on site staff, was quite busy when I went at Easter weekend, kids knocking on my tent in the dark which I didn’t like. Apart from that the place was nice. Horses were very sweet. Plenty of undercover space at the kitchen to hide for the rain if needed. Bathrooms were clean and showers nice and warm
