River Run Farm Camping is situated on the banks of the beautiful Mary River within the spectacular Fraser Coast region. The historic Maryborough town centre and the quaint village of Tiaro is right on our doorstep for anything you may have left behind or if you just feel like a country pub meal and a cold beer. We offer large grassy mowed sites both powered and unpowered, river front and tree shaded areas with some unpowered sites having their own fire pits. Fully equipped large camp kitchen with microwave, television, fridge,fire place and BBQ's, large communal firepit great for camp ovens and power points to charge your devices and a Playground for the Kids. We offer the best hot showers with beautifully clean toilets; our amenities even contain a washing machine and a kid’s bathroom with a claw foot bath. A Dump point is located at the front of our property. River Run offers: farm animals, swimming, excellent fresh water Fishing (Bass, Barra, yellow belly, prawn and silver perch), boat ramp, bike track and kayaking on the river is spectacular. River run has an amazing variety of bird life due to the large body of fresh water and pristine habitat creating a great environment for spotting native animals including wallabies, echidna and platypus, which have been sighted at the boat ramp. We are pet friendly too as long as your animals remain on a leash and are under full supervision at all times. River Run is only a short drive away from lots of great experiences, Markets, Mural trail, horse riding, adventure activities, history, museums, Festivals, art and culture that are sure to inspire. Thursday is market day in Marybrough with live music, town tours, great food fruit and veggies. Book a horse riding adventure with Hucknall Horses only 10mins away or drive on up to Hervey Bay and go whale watching or day trip to the incredible Fraser Island or Rainbow Beach. 4wd in one of the many local forestry areas and see the brumby herds. There is so much to see and do on the Fraser Coast. Just so much to see and do.

What a beautiful little campground! The riverside setting was so peaceful, and it was the perfect place to relax by the campfire. The highlight was being visited by the two friendly little ponies—they made our stay extra special. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back! Also amenities were super clean 10/10!!

River Run Camping is the perfect place for families! The ladies have thought of everything to entertain the children, from Animal Bingo at night to animal feeding during the day. My children loved engaging in all of the activities and made some great friends during our stay. The amenities are wonderful and clean. Highly recommend!

We had the best time I am just so blown away of how amazing it was especially for my kids so many fun activities each day, owners were so lovely, the sites were large and amenities were nice and clean, loved seeing all the farm animals and being able to walk around and see them all. Great spot to bring your boat with the boat ramp right there. It was just truely what my little family needed it was so peaceful.

Absolutely amazing! Our first ever Hipcamp and we loved it. Unfortunately only stayed one night as we were passing through but my family had the best time. Amazing experience feeding all the animals and the tractor rides. The hosts have done an awesome job making this farm a great destination for families.

This is our 2nd stay at River Run. It’s absolutely fantastic. Stayed at a riverfront site and it was bliss. Such a beautiful property and great activities for the kids including a disco, scavenger hunt and animal bingo. Feeding the animals was a highlight. Can’t wait to visit again. Thanks Shelly and family!

Camped here a few times now. The view from the top of the hill is lovely. You can see to the river and if you have kids you can keep an eye on them the other way, in the park at the same time.

River Run Farm!!! Can't wait to come back and the best thing it's only 57mins from home (Hervey Bay). Wished we knew about it sooner. Amazing camp kitchen & amenities. Sits are perfect sized we had two powered are next to the kids playground, toilets, showers and camp kitchen. Great for a weekend away. Michelle and her team were amazing. Great activities for the kids and the water slide amazing.

Absolutely loved it! Activities were very well run, the kids had a ball and will want to come back for these. The showers are an attraction in themselves, I tempt you to try find a better hot shower than here. Facilities very clean, kids loved the bath, lawns were beautifully mowed, no mozzies or midgies when we were there. Only improvement from my kids was that the bike track could be made better by removing the gravel, because apparently nothing beats dirt 👌🏼 Will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our time at River Run Farm. Large grassy sites, fire, clean amenities and hot showers. The animals are a lot of fun to watch. Michelle is friendly and helpful. So nice to have a river so close.

Lovely quiet spot, clean and great showers, plenty of water pressure. Well equipped Camp Kitchen. Very friendly Shetland ponies, mother cow with her calf. Plenty of camping spots that give you privacy if you want it. Nice 15 minute drive to Tiaro. Great spot for a nice quiet getaway.

We recently spent the weekend at this wonderful campground with our disability support group and had an excellent experience. The location is beautiful, set alongside the peaceful Mary River, providing a relaxing and scenic environment for everyone to enjoy. One of the standout features was the accessibility of the facilities. The toilets and showers were clean, well-maintained, and easily accessible, making the stay comfortable for all members of our group. The animal feeding activities were a huge hit with the children, creating memorable experiences and plenty of smiles throughout the weekend. There was plenty of open space to explore, relax, and enjoy nature in a safe and welcoming setting. The campground offers a great balance of accessibility, family-friendly activities, and natural beauty. We would highly recommend it to families, community groups, and disability support groups looking for an inclusive and enjoyable camping destination. Thank you Michelle for providing such a welcoming place for our group. We look forward to returning in the future.

River Run Farm Camping was one of those places that reminds you why we love camping so much. Nestled along the river near Antigua, about 3 hours from Brisbane, it offers the perfect mix of peaceful bush camping, family-friendly activities, and great facilities. The sites are spacious, well-maintained, and grassy, with both powered and unpowered options available. We stayed with friends old and new and loved the relaxed atmosphere. While the powered sites are a little closer together, many of the other sites feel wonderfully secluded and private. The amenities were spotless, with flushing toilets, hot showers, an outdoor bath/shower for the kids, laundry facilities, and a fantastic camp kitchen. The hosts clearly care about creating a welcoming environment for families. Our kids absolutely loved the Saturday morning animal feeding, and there was plenty to keep them entertained with the playground, BMX track, swimming area, fishing, and boat ramp. We also enjoyed spotting the horses, cows, and birdlife around the property. There is some occasional train noise, but overall the campground is incredibly peaceful. Telstra reception was reliable, pets are welcome on leash, and every site has its own campfire ring. If you’re looking for a relaxing riverside escape where the kids can roam, play, and connect with nature while the adults unwind around the campfire, River Run Farm Camping is an easy recommendation. We can’t wait to return.

What a great place to stop. Tayla and Jacob were lovely. We were lucky enough to be visiting the animals when Tayla came to feed them, which meant my girls got to join in and help. With the animals being free range, it was a great experience. Kevin the goat was the best! The facilities have been designed really well. So glad we stayed here a few days!
