Such a beautiful place. Very easy to get there. Would love to return when weather is good, we tried to walk to bush walk that the property has but ended up getting saturated and returned to camp, was still fun though. Sarah the host is awesome, met us at camp and explained the area and what was available to do.
Definitely will return, but next time with kids and dogs.
Thanks Sarah.
Communication with Sarah was fast and efficient. Directions she provided were great and easy to follow. The grounds were well kept and great with your own fire pit. Portable toilets were good to have onsite and clean.
We loved the camp at Wagtail Way. The directions to find it were simple to follow. We had the luxury of being able to choose which site when we arrived. The one we chose was cosy, with an interesting view towards the cattle pasture. The site is well maintained and the whole area creatively split up. The hosts were friendly and courteous. It was a 'happy' stay. Thanks!
What a magic spot. We loved the privacy, quiet, wildlife, walks, swimming holes and the convenience of a toilet and bins. We hope to return time and time again.
I loved camping at Bunya Grove! The scenery is very beautiful and relaxing, and the layout/set up is fantastic as it makes it feel private. The property is so beautiful and there are lots to do on the property including swimming and a magical bush walk along the creek and property. I can’t recommend it enough and cannot wait to come back.
We had a great 2 day break, we wanted space to ourselves and we got that! Sarah was a great host, very responsive and her and her partner went out of their way, great to have a big fire, and Thanks Sarah best baked potato ever, we are looking forward to our next visit, reserve our spot for next time please...Jodie and Dustin
We loved camping at Wagtail way, the views were amazing, amenities were clean, it was quiet and peaceful, beautiful location. Sarah was very accommodating, will definitely be back!
Communications with Sarah and Chris was first rate, we camped at one of the alternate camp areas, Wangtail Way, due to unforeseen issues at the original area. The camp area was very well presented and spacious. It was very peaceful and even with the weather not being the best our time was excellent. Certainly will recommend to others
I loved that is was spread out and we all had such a large camp site. Lovely quite place to relax and unwind. There is all a farm shop on site. Fire wood, ice, eggs, bacon in the shop.
Thank you for a lovely stay
Loved camping at frogmouth. It’s a nice big patch you get to yourselves, great for a group.
Private and lots of trees so there’s always shade available.
Thanks for having us - we will book again 😊
Loved our Long Weekend Getaway. Fantastic Hosts, great size campsites with plenty of room between your neighbours. Pet Friendly which is great. Already planning our next trip out. Thanks for a great stay 😊
The portaloo wasn’t clean and it ran out of water. The step up into it was too high. I was solo in the group but had to pay the full site fee because booked through Hipcamp.
Loved the diversity of farm , rainforest , great swimming holes only a short walk away.
Plenty of space to set up camp and secluded. Will definitely be back to try the other campsites. Hosts are great , brought bacon and eggs to my site. Which were both delicious.
Easy to get to good communication from host.
Had a great couple of nights away staying at Wagtail Way at Bunya Grove. Perfect spot to test out our new camper.
Very friendly and welcoming hosts, and I highly recommend their wonderful eggs at their farm shop.
Portaloo amenities were very clean and well maintained.
Bunya Grove is great spot for stargazing around the fire on a clear night, and plenty of place for adventures if you have kids with you.
Highly recommended.
We had such a great stay at Wagtail Way! It’s the perfect spot for families — so much to do, plenty to explore, and loads of space for the kids to roam.
The amenities were always clean and well-stocked, which made everything so easy.
Sarah was absolutely wonderful — so friendly, accommodating, and happy to help with anything we needed.
We’d definitely love to come back!
Had a great time at Bunya Grove, stayed in Wagtail way in a tent with our dog and had a great time. The hosts are friendly and extremely helpful even going so far as to deliver dry wood, ice, fresh farm eggs and bacon right to the camp site, definitely made for a very nice experience.
Very well kept, very quiet and private spot. Nice and flat and has a beautiful creek running by providing asmr all night. Very well kept toilet and has general waste, recycling and compost bins.
Beautiful private campsites along the creek, due to poor weather we did not get to explore the full extent to what the property has to offer but we will definitely go back to explore all it has to offer. Toilets, non-potable water, bins all available so takes the stress away from having to carry amenities
We stayed here for 4 nights over Easter and it was a great place to unwind, huge area for tents or caravans with plenty of space between camps, water available but not potable and 1 portable toilet, firewood is available to purchase to use at the campfires which are located at each campsite of which there are only 4. Short drives to Gympie and Pomona, a couple of swimming holes at the creek which are a short walk to get to. A small farm shop open on Saturday mornings for a couple of hours has some fresh produce and you can get a coffee as well. Internet reception is a bit hit and miss but that didn't worry us at all. Sarah is an amazing host and very helpful and we would definitely stay there again
Very well maintained sites with crystal clear creek right by the camp. Hosts are so friendly and accommodating. Have stayed here before and will be staying again.
Cockatoo Corner at Bunya Grove is a lovely private site with beautiful surroundings, a toilet, bins and a great fire pit. Wood was delivered daily (if requested) and we also took advantage of the fresh eggs and honey that we could purchase.
Lots of swimming options and a great walking track to get the heart pumping.
