We have 24 spacious sites, a couple lakefront and others among trees or in the open. Lakefront spots can’t be guaranteed — sites are assigned based on group size and setup. If you’re camping with others, please message after booking so we can place you together. Please note we have 2 lakes only one is swimmable the other is weed infested. It’s impossible to keep up with changing environmental factors, photos don’t always represent current conditions.

• Three flushing toilets and two hot showers in the main area with 3 porta loos.
• 2 Porta-loos at remote sites (max 500 m from amenities)
• Firepits at every site (subject to restrictions)
• Firewood available $20 per 20kg bag (no BYO wood) please don’t pre purchase wood on hipcamp we have plenty onsite for purchase.

Our 1 km private driveway is unsealed but fine for 2WD when driven carefully. Please do the assigned speed limits. You can park at your site once set up. For safety, no joyriding or unnecessary driving around the property. Supervise your children at all times.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome under control. We’re surrounded by bushland with ticks, spiders, and snakes — please use tick protection and take normal care.

Hold it Flats is a 120 acre property that borders the beautiful O'Connell River that has water all year round. Take a walk around the property to check out some of the creatures that have been built out of scrap metal and bush bars that have been built all around the property.
There is nice shady trees, green grass and flat camping sites right beside the river with hot showers and flushing toilets. There is plenty of room and some great tracks for the kids and the big kids to ride their push bikes on. The swimming hole is about 2 meters deep and has big shady trees on the edge. There is also enough room for kids to bring their kayaks and have a paddle along the river.
We have some hiking tracks up around the hills of our property that have amazing views of the area.
All campsites can be provided with their own fire pit. You just pick your spot and we will bring a portable fire pit to you. Fire wood can be purchased at the property. All rubbish must be taken with you, there are no rubbish bins provided.

Access to the property is via a creek crossing so it is advisable to phone ahead if there has been recent rain or rainfall is forecast.
Toilets are located on the property but campers will need their own shower facilities and take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are permitted but must be contained at all times, we also sell firewood at $15 for a milk crate.
Calen is a small cane growing and cattle town with a general store, pharmacy, service station, butcher and the local pub. Zarby's cafe is a short drive away if you would like to dine in for breakfast or lunch in a retro style setting.
Each site fee is for 2 adults and kids stay at no cost.

We have a beautiful deepwater lake that's perfect for swimming and canoeing. The property is traversed by several rainforested creeks and ravines, which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing.
We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer a longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding.
We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to anyone with the swag, tent, camper, caravan, or motorhome. You must be self-sufficient, with your own toilet, and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go.
For those who prefer the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV.

Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise.
Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek branching west of the Mooloolah River to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots/shoes are highly recommended.
There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches.
Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). There are Portaloos located at or near all campsites.
Caravans or motor homes are not permitted due to the steep terrain. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

Groups can explore the lake through fishing, canoeing, kayaking and other suitable water-based activities, develop practical outdoor living skills, enjoy bushwalking and nature discovery, or simply reconnect with the outdoors through engaging educational and recreational experiences.
Lake Moogerah is well known for its Australian Bass and Yellowbelly fishing, while our onsite bushwalk leads towards Striker Point and the gorge waterfall, offering spectacular scenery along the way.
For those wanting to further explore the region, Spicers Gap National Park is only a short drive away and offers scenic walking tracks and breathtaking views over the Fassifern Valley and surrounding landscapes.
While we do not currently have a boat ramp onsite, groups bringing their own boats can launch at the nearby public boat ramp and utilise the sheltered bay in front of the retreat.
Important Information About Our Retreat
Moogerah Lakeside Bush Retreat is not a tourist park or standalone transit campground.
Accommodation is available in connection with participation in educational, recreational or nature-based programmes and activities offered at our retreat, rather than as unrestricted drive-in accommodation.
All groups wishing to stay at the retreat are required to participate in an educational or recreational programme, with their chosen activities confirmed as part of the booking process and introduced by our onsite caretaker upon arrival.
Our programmes cater for all ages, abilities and experience levels, ranging from simple, self-guided outdoor activities for families and small groups through to fully guided, structured and tailored experiences.
Activities may include fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, bushwalking, stargazing, archery, bush cooking, outdoor survival skills, wildlife observation, campcraft and other nature-based learning and recreational experiences.
Our complimentary Introduction to Outdoor Education & Recreation programme is particularly suited to families, beginners and small groups. It encourages participants to explore, learn and connect with nature through a selection of practical outdoor activities undertaken at their own pace.
Many of our introductory and self-guided programmes are available at no additional cost when participants provide their own equipment, while equipment hire and more structured or guided experiences may attract additional fees.
Programmes can be tailored to suit the interests, abilities and desired outcomes of each group, whether you're planning a school camp, family gathering or reunion, youth programme, workplace team-building retreat, Scouts or Guides activity, sporting group retreat or other organised group experience.
We can cater for groups of varying sizes, up to our approved site capacity of 100 people.

How to get to us? We have two ways in .
Option 1:
Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks .
we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre.
Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended.
Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose.
Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or soak in the creek with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere.
Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Sites are allocated on weekends based on numbers, if you are in caravans or tents and if you are camping with children.
We have 12 large grassy sites nestled amongst trees located at the higher part of our property. Each site is large and can allow group bookings. Loads of space for tents, camper trailers, caravans or motorhomes. The camping sites are close together however there is loads of areas to set up along the creek during the day.

A perfect spot to stay over for the Mt. Maroon climb. The local area has a tourism focus with plenty of opportunities to explore the Scenic Rim. Lake Moogara and Maroon Dam are not far away for jet skis, kayaking and swimming.
If you are not up for Mt Maroon climb which could take up to 3 hours each way, there are always walks around the area that are less challenging.
We are family friendly with easy terrain to set up for first time campers. Wake up to beautiful views and serenity.
Sorry, no dogs are allowed as we have koalas and we are surrounded by National Parks
Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place. Check on the day, it is usually fine to cook with contained cookers during a fire ban. BYO gas BBQ.

Majestic mountain views in the Scenic Rim, on this private 60+ acre property offers an unforgettable bush camping experience surrounded by nature, wide open skies and panoramic mountain views.
Positioned approximately 400 metres above sea level, the property captures sweeping 360-degree views across the surrounding valleys and mountain ranges, delivering incredible sunrises, glowing sunsets and some of the best stargazing in South East Queensland. On clear nights the sky comes alive with stars, far from the light pollution of the city.
With over 25 hectares of land to explore, guests have plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the quiet of the countryside. Internal tracks wind through the property allowing visitors to explore different camping areas, take in the views, and experience the changing landscape from the lower paddocks to the elevated hilltop known as Dingo Hill.
Two dams on the property attract local wildlife and birdlife, and it’s common to see kangaroos, birds of prey and other native animals moving through the landscape. The property sits right beside Moogerah Peaks National Park and close to Mount French Lookout, making it an ideal base for nature lovers wanting to explore the region.
Campers can choose between two areas of the property:
Homestead Selection – the lower camping area with open space suitable for caravans, camper trailers and tents.
Dingo Hill – a more elevated and remote camping area offering expansive views and a true off-grid bush camping experience.
GoGo is designed as a quiet nature retreat, perfect for couples and travellers looking to slow down, unplug and enjoy the peace of the Scenic Rim.
Despite feeling a world away, the property is conveniently located close to some of the region’s best destinations:

• Boonah – 15 minutes
• Moogerah Dam – 15 minutes
• Wyaralong Dam – 25 minutes
• Brisbane – approx 1 hour 15 minutes

Access to the property is via a 1km gravel road off Moogerah Road, with approximately 4km of internal bush tracks throughout the property. A 4WD is recommended, particularly for the hilltop areas and during wet weather.

More recently about 25 years ago it was rented to a builder who had a saw mill operating here. We purchased the property about 10 years ago with plans of creating Estate Lodges Caravan & Camping.
Our pet-friendly property offers unpowered sites for campers to enjoy all this area has to offer. Explore our bush walking tracks, enjoy some bird watching and see what wildlife you can spot! Your evenings can be spent around supplied fire pits gazing at the stars. We have soft drinks & firewood for sale.

The Glass House Mountains are found in the hinterland of Queensland's Sunshine Coast. They are about a one-hour drive south of the Sunshine Coast's main hub, Noosa, or an hour north of the state's capital city, Brisbane.
The region is a natural playground of walking tracks, horse trails and abseiling locations, the mountains are also home to six small townships, linked by rail and country roads.

We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away.
We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane.
The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude.
From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest.
There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway.
It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest.
Enjoy the spring fed dam in the warmer months. 🏊♂️
There is plenty to explore in the area, including:

We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap.
The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area.
Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open.
You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill.
There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road.
Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill.
Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras.
We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite.
We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. There is sometimes wood located at each campsite but the amount and quality is varied.

Such an incredible spot for a family getaway, and so close to the Gold Coast! The entire property is beautifully maintained, and the host family are absolutely lovely. The animals and the opportunity for the kids to interact with them were definitely a highlight of our stay. Having access to a shower and toilet was an added bonus. We had such a great time and will definitely be back!

We had 2 fantastic nights camping on Mountain View site, especially our own hot shower! Easy access to Yabba creek for a paddle and a swim. Lots of room to enjoy the Yabba Creek sights and sounds. The facilities are great and well maintained, just the place to escape to.
Our hosts are awesome, made us feel very welcome with plenty of tips on how to get the best out of our stay - will definitely be coming back :)

We’ve now stayed at One Tree Hill twice, and both visits have been such amazing experiences.
Our first visit was with a big group of 11 adults and 6 kids, and we loved it so much that we knew we wanted to come back. The second time, we returned with just one other family — 4 adults and 5 children — and somehow it felt even more special.
What we love most about One Tree Hill isn’t just the beautiful environment or the campsite itself, but the people and animals that make this place feel so welcoming. Our daughters have really built a connection with the owners, their children, and all the animals on the farm.
One of the biggest reasons we came back for our second visit was actually because our eldest daughter had formed such a special bond with one of the calves, Latte, during our first stay. She kept talking about wanting to go back so she could cuddle Latte again 🥹
This time, we also got to meet the farm’s newest additions — two baby goats Patrick and Benjamin. They were the cutest little duo and, of course, the kids absolutely loved bottle feeding them!
There’s just something really special about this place. The hospitality, the environment, the animals, the space for the kids to enjoy themselves — everything. You don’t feel like you’re simply staying at a campsite; you leave with memories and connections that make you genuinely want to come back.
After two wonderful stays, One Tree Hill has officially made it onto our annual list of places we want to visit.
