How to get to us? We have two ways in .
Option 1:
Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks .
we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre.
Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended.
Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here.
This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here.
No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

As a family of four with two young kids and our dog, this was exactly the kind of escape we didn’t realise we needed. 🤍
From the moment we arrived at MYSTIC ADVENTURES, everything felt calm, peaceful, and genuinely welcoming. The privacy, the quiet outdoors, and the warmth of the space made it so easy to slow down and just be present together as a family.
The cabin was beautifully set up with everything thoughtfully prepared — from the extra kitchen essentials, tea, coffee and condiments, to the fresh bread which honestly made the stay feel even more special. It’s those little touches that make you feel cared for, not just accommodated.
Our kids absolutely loved the garden and outdoor space, and for us it felt like glamping in comfort and style — all the beauty of nature without the stress of having to bring everything yourself. Even our dog settled in so happily.
This place gave us quality time, quiet moments, and memories we’ll genuinely hold onto. We left feeling rested, reconnected, and already talking about when we can come back.

Weekend Trip to Runella
A Magical, Soul-Stirring Off-Grid Sanctuary! ★★★★★
We came home. Arriving here felt like stepping back in time to a simpler, truer reality. Our wonderful host, Rose, was ready for us, but the land dictates its own pace. She was out on the tractor rolling feed for the cows, who watched our arrival with gentle, curious eyes, as if genuinely glad for the company. When she finished, she welcomed us with true warmth.
Rose helped us get the off-grid fire going to heat the water—a beautiful return to the old ways. The stunning 70-year-old shed is a rustic masterpiece. Framed by two ancient bottle trees, the interior decor instantly whispered "home" to my soul, deeply resonating with my roots growing up in the bush in a faraway land. It proves the spirit of the land is universal.
As the sun set, an incredible dusk engulfed the sky, almost showing off for our delight. Once darkness fell, the sky truly danced. With zero electricity and no phone signal, we were forced to disconnect from the world to truly connect with ourselves. The Milky Way was blindingly visible, guiding us home, while inside, the crackling fireplace cuddled us in warmth, whispering you are safe. Rose ensured we could reach her anytime, which was incredibly reassuring.
The morning was pure magic. After a golden sunrise and some beautiful time interacting with the cows and horses, we actually went back to bed. Everything here is completely unhurried, peaceful, and deeply relaxing. We will be back in no time.

Jacob got a really nice place. Not too far from nearest town Ravenshoe but still feels like away from the whole world.
No phone reception, which was really nice and relaxing.
The beautiful river is just 1-2 minutes walk away.
The shed got a small room with bed as well.
Kitchen was well equipped.
We had fun and enjoyed every second of our stay.

Cozy cabin, very whimsical and cute 🥰 great outdoor area - loved the movies under the stars 🌟 by the fire 🔥 and would recommend you add that to your trip for sure!
Cleanest porterloo we’ve ever seen and generally everything was very clean. Porterloo shower was awesome and heated up fast as well!
Host thought of everything, some little surprises as well, the attention to detail is unmatched❣️
Have been there as a romantic getaway as a couple and can recommend for couples to unwind and get out of the hustle and bustle ☺️

My family loved camping at Echoes - our site was sheltered, private and had beautiful views. The walk up the hill rewards you with amazing views of the valley. Kids loved exploring and encounters with the wildlife inc cows, wallabies and Geoffrey’s friendly parrot, Abigail. Hosts Geoffrey and Francine were so wonderful - Geoffrey, kids want you to know they loved the dragon fruit you kindly gave them on our way out! Would highly recommend; a terrific camping spot.

Lovely long weekend stay. Great spot! Private. Lots of trees. Visiting horses. Big fire pit. Very useful covered seating area! You do have to have the ability to walk back up the steep hill if you want to go down to the creek. Or drive. Definitely need a 4x4. The creek is small but lovely. One tip…. Don’t leave food out on benches or on the floor of the cabin or you will find little nibbles. No great bother though.. Thanks for sharing your property!! Vey nice.

Very clean and tidy camp site with handy cabin and toilet and great view. Dave was very helpful and accommodating. The camp site is spacious enough for a big crowd and is very private. We truly enjoyed our stay and have already booked to go back again. Tnx Dave 🙂

My husband and I had the most restful and relaxing time at the shack. No “power” but everything you need to feel comfortable. Rose and Denis were incredibly generous and beautiful people. Denis even took us on a tour of the cotton fields and taught us how it’s farmed, which made the experience even more special. The highlight was the incredible sunsets, especially heating up the donkey for a bath and watching the sun go down through the window. We’d come back in a heartbeat next time we’re in the area!

4 nights at Cahoola Cabins and Camping
What a fantastic stay!! Perfect place to tap out and disconnect. Plenty of space and privacy. The creek is a great place to cool off. Cabins have all the essentials you require. The fire pit was an evening delight. Jimmy is a great host who is very responsive and accommodating. I will definitely be back for more R & R.

We had a great stay at The Shack! The cabin is rustic, but excellently set up with everything you need if you are looking to take a break and enjoy the peace and quiet. We travelled with our two young kids and a small dog, and everyone loved being out in the countryside and sitting around the fire as the sun went down. Rose was a great host and I would highly recommend a stay at The Shack.

I really enjoyed our stay in the couples cabin, the camp is in a stunning location, on top of a hill with views for miles of the surrounding ranges. The Cabin has a bullnose veranda overlooking the dam and picturesque scenery.
The campfire was also a highlight on our one night stay.
Colin is a very friendly and welcoming host ,we will definitely be back again hopefully for a longer stay.

Loved the fairy garden, was a fun walk with the puppies with lots to see and smell. The site was great - had everything you need and was nice and private, feeling like you’re in remote bushland without the long drive. Kathryn was extremely friendly and helpful.

Absolutely perfect, we could not recommend staying in the cabin more!
Kathryn has thought of everything, right down to the smallest details. From the freshly baked sourdough and mulberry jam on arrival, to pre-filling watering cans for the kids. Everything was intentional, and so welcoming.
The gardens are stunning. There’s something magical in every nook and cranny, with so many beautiful spaces to relax and unwind. My favourite was the tea garden, curling up there in the afternoon with a tea (or wine!) and a good book was bliss.
The experience for the kids was just as special, with daily crafts in the fairy garden, and being able to have drinks delivered while they created made it feel like a proper little retreat for everyone. They had the best time making things, sipping milkshakes, and exploring with other children, showing off all their favourite spots.
Kathryn and Phil are incredible hosts, and hearing about their future plans has us already planning our return!
Don’t hesitate booking, go see for yourselves!
