Lalapanzi Heights is a secluded semi-developed exclusive campsite about 400m away from the dwellings and a base for bush hiking, exploration, bird watching or just relaxing.
Your bookings are exclusive, so once you have booked, the other sites are blocked off.
2WD accessible to parking area. 4X4 access to camp site in dry conditions at drivers own risk. The road is not suitable for caravans. Walk-in access approximately 400m uphill pathway.
Campfires are not available during fire ban season.
A limited amount of firewood is provided but it is recommended that you bring your own if you are staying more than one night.
Dogs permitted on leash, but are not allowed in the Rondavel.

There are many ways to spend your time during your stay with us. Go for a stroll or cycle around the farm, try to catch a fish in the dam (you'll need to bring your own fishing supplies), play with and feed the animals or play board games. We have a sauna to sweat out the toxins and stress of city living. We also have a trampoline and swing set for children or the young at heart. Finally, end your day with a mouthwatering BBQ and toasting marshmallows around the fire while you gaze up at the stars!
Our accommodation is ideal for those wanting to escape the hussle and bussle of city living, for families (especially those with small children who'd love to spend time with farm animals), romantic weekend getaways, groups or clubs (including business and family/friends) and those simply passing through the area. And of course, we're pet friendly! We offer a large Queenslander home and 4 cottages, all built with comfort and convenience in mind.
Our farm is home to a wide variety of friendly animals. There are goats, alpacas, chooks, sheep, miniature horses, guinea pigs, birds, peacocks, dogs, cats, cows, turkeys and ducks! You're able to join us in feeding the animals at approximately 8am and 4pm; this is a particularly special experience for children of all ages! You're also welcome to take part in other farm activities when they occur, including collecting chicken eggs in the afternoon!

It’s a lovely place to relax, and we had a great time there. There were sheep and alpacas right outside our yard. We also went fishing at the dam — didn’t catch anything, but the sunset was absolutely divine. Recommend for families with young kids.

Such an amazing place! Everything you need is supplied even down to the pile of firewood for your stay! Comfy beds, hot showers and a great fire pit area and if you need to venture into town Toowoomba is only 15mins drive away . Rodger and Jenny were always happy to help with anything and great to have a chat with! Highly recommend this gem to anyone and everyone for a great few nights away in the peace and quiet.

The views and and open space of the site are absolutely gorgeous. We couldn't believe how private and set up we were there.
Having grown up in the bush I know a good outdoor life set up when I see one!
The hot shower was extra special, as were the sweet Green Tree Frogs who came to hang out in the bathroom.
The drive up is 100% 4x4 access only, only one of our 2 cars attempted (and succeeded!) And Rodger was kind enough to transport the rest of us and our belongings up the mountain.
I don't say this lightly, I'll take my car (Outlander) on many a path, it almost didn't make it and you will need height under the car.
The drive up was actually super fun, and we did the whole weekend with a 5 month old without any hassles at all.

We spent two nights at the cattlemen’s cabin for a family adventure. Had a fantastic weekend - we loved it here. The kids loved the creeks, riding on the property on their bikes and cooking marshmallows on the fire pit. We hope to return again someday.

Off the grid simplicity @its best with all the essentials.
A flushing toilet, a shower (heat yr own water), tracks to explore, amazing views, peace and quiet, firepit, shady trees, warm comfy beds, curious cattle and obliging hosts.
