Come and Camp at Noosa Equestrian Centre, a 188 acre property in the heart of the Noosa regions, with lush greenery and a peaceful tree lined creek. The perfect campsite for relaxing days spent in the beautiful hinterland, with Noosa beaches and shops just over the hill. The property offers 80 powered sites and 100 unpowered sites, at various locations around the property, some closer to the creek-line than others. All sites are ideal for pulling up stumps for a few days or more, enjoying the stunning, peaceful property and exploring the wider area. All campers have access the the amenities blocks (hot showers and flushing toilets!), located a couple of hundred metres from camp, depending where you set up, as well as a dump point for those who are self-contained. At this time, whilst campfires are permitted, you must bring your own firepit/brazier or similar and it must be elevated from the ground. Firewood BYO. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a lead - we have many horses around! Sites will be allocated on arrival in discussion with you, based on your set up.

We had such a wonderful stay at Noosa Equestrian & Camping. The property is beautiful, with wide open spaces, gorgeous friendly horses, whistler ducks, and such a peaceful, calming atmosphere. Trevor and Jacinta were super friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. The facilities were great, everything was clean and well looked after, and the hot showers were lovely. It is the perfect place to slow down, enjoy the tranquility, and take in the natural surroundings. It is also amazing for night sky photography, with so much open space and peaceful country atmosphere. A really special spot. We WILL happily stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my two night stay at Noosa Equestrian and Camping. I saw kangaroos, peacocks, horses, donkeys and many types of birds. The hosts are friendly and were happy to show us around. The evening sky was filled with stars with the milky way clearly visible in the dark night.

Good location, only two hours away from Brisbane. A lot of animals, we saw goats, cows, peacocks, lots of duckies, birds, horses and even a baby donkey. Such a lovely camp site, facilities are also very good, toilet, hot water shower, you can also choose to camp some where near power and water.

This was our first time camping and honestly, it wasn’t too bad at all. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights in a powered site. The toilets and surroundings were clean, and the place itself is well looked after. There’s not much to do or see apart from animals, but for us that was perfect since it was just me, my husband, and our 10-month-old bub. Nice, quiet, and simple—just what we needed. Only downside was our last night—neighbours were very loud and it went on past 10pm. It would be good if the campsite enforced quiet hours properly, especially for families with young kids trying to sleep. We also met a neighbour who lives on-site—really friendly and helpful whenever we had questions. Hopefully we run into him again next time.

We loved it. Quiet. Loved hearing the horses. The amenities were fine. Clean and tidy. We had an unpowered site, but there are powered ones available. We would definitely go back. And when we do, we’ll take more carrots for the horses!

Overall the unpowered paddock is better than the powered paddock. We first arrived and was told to camp in the powered section with all the other campers. Whilst overlooking other campers and permanent people that camp there, it was not the rolling views as shown in the photos that we were expecting. We were also camped under massive electricity pylons that run through the powered paddock/section of the property. We moved to the unpowered section/paddock halfway through our stay which was much better, less crowded & no pylons overhead. The choice of sites, portable water & dump point was a bonus but not the overall feel we were expecting.

Nice place, an hour drive from Noosa so not that close to the beach. Was a bit busy during the Easter weekend but we had a nice spot and the crowd didn’t bother too much.

I realise it was the Easter long weekend, but seriously!! Get some more toilet paper. I would have happily paid more to ensure the toilets were clean, excrement was mopped up and there was paper there in the mornings. On day three there was no water- to drink, shower or flush toilets. Ewww. And hire a few skip bins please. No one wants to take bags of rubbish with them. Dogs are awesome when camping. Dog poop is not. (Especially when it's the owner's dog...)

The property is really nice and the bathrooms and showers are kept relatively clean. However, they accept way too many campers ! Anyone can come and set camp wherever they want. There are only 3 posts for electricity in the whole place, so people end up on top of each other near where the connections are. We had 2 huge groups next to us that had super loud music until late at night and no one did anything. If it wasn’t so busy it’d be great, but we go camping to relax and enjoy nature… it didn’t feel like it unfortunately.

We went with a big group for the Easter long weekend. Heaps of other campers but all very respectful. The kids loved making new friends and all the amenities handled the number of people. The team running the campsite were amazing and the kids couldn’t get enough of the slushy machine.

Beautiful amenities with clean toilets and great showers. The site shop was great and very friendly horses. We loved the view too. We were booked for 3 nights and had an average of 4 hours sleep each night that we and our group ended up leaving early. The people living on the field next to ours had multiple chained up dogs that did not stop barking or were called out to stop from the minute we arrived to the minute we left including for hours on end overnight.

The creek was not suitable for swimming. Looked at pictures on the page and this was not a part of the property. The toilet block was not able to cope with the amount of campers on site. Constantly running out of toilet paper and the small block ran out of water. Overbooked and not tended to regularly enough so they were unclean. A big truck working in the paddocks near where we camped? On Easter Sunday???? Should have sites clearly marked in the powered area so it’s not a free for all to get a space. Not value for money which was $30pp/pn

Overall, it’s nice. They maintain showers and toilets clean. However, toilet paper would be running out at night. Also, the grass wasn’t mowed short enough.

If you’re looking to swap screen glare for some actual starlight, Noosa Equestrian & Camping is exactly what you need. We stayed there for a night, and with being relaxing with all the amenities you could need, the star gazing was incredible. It was great as a stopover on our road trip north from Brisbane. After being stuck in peak hour traffic pulling in here was a relief. It feels tucked away enough that you actually get that "off-the-grid" vibe, but it’s still easy enough to get to that it didn’t add any extra stress or "detour fatigue" to our drive. Waking up there left us feeling recharged for the next leg of our trip.

It was pretty easy going but a little bit unstructured. People were coming and going and setting up wherever they wanted. The showers were good pressure and good temperature. We didnt have any issues whilst there and would stay there again.

We stayed for 8 nights from Boxing Day through to 3 January, welcoming in the New Year with our awesome friends. Our site was a fantastic size with plenty of space, which made it easy to relax and enjoy ourselves without feeling cramped. One of the best parts was how well spaced the sites are, it still felt private and peaceful. The atmosphere over the New Year period was great, even in the midst of a thunderstorm! We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

We booked for a site with power and water, upon arrival we were told there were many power points at 3-4 locations. We needed to huddle around a pole to be able to use power and those that arrived earlier got a great spot. We could not hook up to water as other vans were plugged in. The ground were well maintained and we had a grassy spot to unwind at. We booked for 3 nights but only stayed 1 due to water and being on top of other visitors.
