Come and Camp at Noosa Equestrian Centre, a 188 acre property in the heart of the Noosa regions, with lush greenery and a peaceful tree lined creek. The perfect campsite for relaxing days spent in the beautiful hinterland, with Noosa beaches and shops just over the hill. The property offers 80 powered sites and 50 unpowered sites, at various locations around the property, some closer to the creek-line than others. All sites are ideal for pulling up stumps for a few days or more, enjoying the stunning, peaceful property and exploring the wider area. All campers have access the the amenities blocks (hot showers and flushing toilets!), located a couple of hundred metres from camp, depending where you set up, as well as a dump point for those who are self-contained. At this time, whilst campfires are permitted, you must bring your own firepit/brazier or similar and it must be elevated from the ground. Firewood BYO. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a lead - we have many horses around! Sites will be allocated on arrival in discussion with you, based on your set up.

Noosa Equestrian Camping: Unpowered
If you are looking for peace and quiet this is a great place. It is not close to any shops etc. The amenities are very average however we are self contained so wasn't an issue. The property is currently a bit neglected however while we were there the tractor was out mowing the paddocks (wet weather has impacted this being done). Thought was a bit overpriced for what you get.

Great place to relax
Overall we had a great experience. The shared toilets were good to use, with hot water, and cleaner (specially when the campsite was not too busy - after the holiday). The campsite also provided multiple spots of free water (to fill up campvan tank), dump point, and powered sites are available. The view to the mountains is nice, but it lacks things to do for kids. So, if you bring kids, make sure you bring all the things you need to keep them entertained, because there is absolutely nothing to do besides what you bring with you. Mobile reception is Ok with Telstra, but poor-to-zero with Vodafone. Also, if coming in campervan, try to avoid the Old Noosa Rd, as you can face low bridge (3.3m - with no sign before getting there) and bad conditions on the surface of the road as well. Good to go if you are in any car (even not suv).

Noosa Equestrian Camping: Unpowered
Very misleading
We booked this campground for a family-centred trip based on the animal and swimming opportunities promoted in the pictures, but we found the ad to be very misleading. Despite being an equestrian centre and featuring horses in most pictures, we were advised that it was a BYO horse facility only, so there were no animals there. The unpowered campsites are housed within old horse paddocks that are unmaintained, with only a narrow 2m muddy entrance. We stayed during wet conditions and found that it was difficult to get in and out of the fields, even in a 4WD. The sites are not designated, so it was a free-for-all trying to find a spot that wasn't too muddy, uneven or overgrown. A better description clarifying these details would have made for a less disappointing trip. We noticed that the property is listed for sale, so unsure that any adjustments will be made.

Noosa Equestrian Camping: Unpowered
Nice spot but needs a lot of TLC
It was a very large and serene area. However, the grounds are in desperate need of maintenance. Grass was overgrown, especially around trees and was hard to find a flat spot without camping amongst large clumps of weeds and grass. Doesn’t look like the photos anymore. It was also a very long soggy walk to the toilets. They had a bit of rain but I would expect a lot more maintenance to be done for campers in that situation. Even a couple of portaloos would have been so convenient. It was still a relaxing area and lovely watching all the bird life.

Noosa Equestrian Camping: Unpowered
Underwhelmed
This camping spot is in need of maintenance. * Grass is long, and has hidden sapling stumps (cut off just above ground) that could pop a tyre if driven over. * Bathroom block is very basic - no window or light in shower - and cobwebs in corners. Cleaning required. * Much of the camping area, including the entry area was muddy and bogged up as soon as a few vehicles went through. * Given the very basic standard and set-up, the pricing does not represent good value. I have stayed in free camps that are much nicer.
