Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our little rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or grab a soak in our outdoor bath with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Sites are allocated on weekends based on numbers and if you are camping with children and dogs. We have 15 large flat grassy sites nestled amongst trees. Campsites are far enough away from other campers to enjoy the privacy. Each site is large and can allow group bookings. Loads of space for tents, camper trailers, caravans or motorhomes. Pets permitted but must be restrained. We have 22 acres of natural bushland in the Conondale Valley, between Maleny and Kenilworth; in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Less than an hour to Caloundra and Sunshine Coast beaches. Sites allocated on weekend, public and school holidays. We have endangered wildlife on the property including frogs in the creek. We are very passionate about protecting the habitat, so our property only suits eco-friendly campers who follow leave no trace principles. All that glitters!
Our large group loved everything about our mini break here. The rain didn't stop the kids from exploring the river in their rubber tubes, building rock walls and watching the water sparkle with gold in the sunlight. The sites were large and private with plenty of shade. Thea and Gary were incredibly gracious hosts and we look forward to coming back.

Perfect spot!
Beautiful, secluded spot with crystal clear running water. It got a bit soggy in the rain but the sites held up very well. The hosts were very friendly and we will be back for sure!

Loved being right near the creek hearing the flow of the water. But muddy from all the rain & no track to the porta loos but beautiful spot. Will definitely return 💗

We loved staying here. The hosts were fantastic and our camp site was beautiful. We were 20 metres from the creek and secluded from other campers. They have a lot larger areas too for big groups. We will definitely be back! Thank you Thea and Gary!

A beautiful place to stay!
The kids, dogs, and I tent camped at site 8, close to the toilets and shower. There's plenty of space between sites so you can mingle or keep to yourself as you wish. Muddy puddles, swings, shady trees, and large open grassy areas gave the kids ample space to play by themselves and with other kids while I could watch from far, far away 😉 The other campers were friendly and the kids had a ball making new friends. The creek was clear, shady, and cool, perfect for a refreshing swim multiple times per day! The hosts were very welcoming and made sure I was okay setting up, had everything I needed, and told me when there was big rain coming since there's no mobile reception. They also handled being questioned by the kids with grace and humour 😆 We all had a great time and this place was honestly beyond what I'd expected. Definitely put this place on your list to visit next!
