We offer a single camping spot for one group only, in a secluded 6-acre corner of our property in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, in the Conondale Range valley. Camping here, just beside the rainforest vegetation corridor along the Mary River, you're guaranteed privacy and peace. Price is $25 per person, per night with capacity for up to 10 people maximum. Children 5-12 years $5.00. We will meet you soon after arrival. Campers need to be fully self-contained with their own camp toilet, and leave no footprints in our fragile and endangered rainforest ecosystem. Easy walks and bike riding along the riverbank and local roads or immerse in the serenity of the flora and fauna and kick back at night under the majestic sky. No pets permitted as we are a Land for Wildlife property. Campfires are permitted when local fire restrictions aren't in place. We can supply firewood for $15/bag. Access path into Conondale National Park is 1.5 km along the road from camp. Note, there are no designated walking trails in this area of the park. Hinterland villages of Maleny, Kenilworth, Peachester and Beerwah within 30 min drive. Conondale village and the corner shop is 11 km away. Please be aware no mobile signal on property. House phone for emergencies. Beautiful spot. Quiet and peaceful. Minimal to no phone reception so a nice place to disconnect. There had been a fair bit of rain so the Mary river was flowing beautifully. Met Steve on arrival to the property and he showed us to the campsite. Great place. Will definitely be back.

Had a great stay here and the property was fantastic! Mary-Ann and Steve were lovely to deal with and the site was private and well set up. Beautiful river only metres from the site to go and explore plus the wonderful water sound to listen to at night. Easy 2WD access for our campervan. Would definitely recommend!!

I went camping solo, and the hosts were both so friendly. The place is stunning and private, with a little corner of the Mary River all to yourself. Would love to camp there again.

We felt so lucky to be at the Rainforest Retreat. Mary-Ann was a great communicator with excellent directions to the site and Steve made us feel really welcome on arrival. This is a very private, quiet site right on the river. In the mornings I would bring my camp chair down to the river bank and sit for ages with a cuppa just watching and listening to nature. Highly recommend and we will be back!

An absolutely beautiful spot to spend a few days, I can't wait to come back. Would have loved if the water level in the river was a little higher, but as it was, there were still deep enough spots to cool off in. It was a joy to explore the river and do some bird watching too. The hosts were both very helpful and communicative. The best part was how private it was.

Plenty of space, very central to lots of things to do and excellent hosts. River rocks and pools kept the kids busy and kept us cool in the heat when needed Highly recommend

I loved the peaceful and very clean area designated for our caravan, plenty of shade and a lovely river to bath in during the day. Only 1 group allowed on this area which is a bonus, , great hosts, we will return

We had a wonderful stay! The river is absolutely beautiful, and the site is clean and well maintained. Steve gave us a warm welcome and was incredibly friendly and helpful, sharing some great tips about the local area. We'd definitely love to come back!

Nice private secluded site. Plenty of room for friends and / or family. Hosts were helpful whilst not intrusive. Note the orange posts are very faded so best direction is about 5m after the bridge.

Best Hipcamp yet!!! Loved the space, loved the privacy, loved the creek!! 10/10. Mary-Ann got us out of trouble with directions and Steve welcomed us at the gate and had a friendly chat!! Will definitely be back!!

Just left Mary-Ann‘s place today. We found it absolutely stunning. The seclusion and privacy were lovely and the river right beside the campsite was so refreshing. We will definitely be back again. Steve came and said hi just after we arrived and let us know everything we needed to know and then we were given our privacy. Thank you so much, Mary-Ann and Steve.
