4WD ACCESS ONLY, when making your booking you must provide: 1. Make/model of 4WD 2. Brand/details of off-road Tyres fitted to each 4WD ... AT or MT? 3. Towing a trailer? If so, please advise weight (fully loaded ATM), length (tow ball to tail lights) 4. Access permitted in daylight hours only. If arriving after sunset, you must advise 24 hours prior. Driving after dark any time without owner-assistance is NOT permitted due to steep terrain, no lighting and black cattle. Call Owner if ETA is after sunset. During winter sunset is close to 5pm. 5. If towing a trailer you MUST arrive in daylight hours due to the steep access. 6. Firewood not to be transported to Riverdell whilst biosecurity risk of Fire Ant spread is current. Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek branching west of the Mooloolah River to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots/shoes are highly recommended. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). There are Portaloos located at or near all campsites. Caravans or motor homes are not permitted due to the steep terrain. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

Stayed at Ocean view 1 and I can honestly say it was one of the nicest views I’ve seen. It’s so worth getting up for the sunrise and the sunset is just gorgeous. Campsite is very spacious and clean as it’s fenced off from wildlife. The portable toilet was very clean and efficient. There was high phone reception too. It’s very secluded and peaceful. Highly recommend staying at this camp spot if you’re looking for some down time.

When we first booked, we’ll admit we were a little overwhelmed by the amount of information, instructions and details provided and wondered if everything might be a bit overly structured. But once we arrived, we 100% understood why it’s all there! The entrance and exit track are the same track. It is narrow, gravel and definitely steep and once you’ve driven it yourself, you completely understand why the hosts provide so much information beforehand. It’s clear they know their property incredibly well and have thought of all the little details to make sure everyone can enjoy their stay safely. The campsite itself was great - grass and flat! Fire wood & Kindling was easy to purchase onsite and a very large firepit on the campsite to use, with a shovel! The porta-loo within walking distance was clean, well maintained and stocked with plenty of toilet paper. We appreciated having the electric fencing around the camp area with some curious cows nearby! It meant we could enjoy having them around without having them wandering straight through camp. We did have some pretty wild winds both nights, so definitely make sure your setup is well secured and come prepared for the possibility of some strong gusts! Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay. Upper Plateau campsite was tucked away and whilst not the 'best' campsite for the valley sunset views, you do get more privacy and shade, with a pretty good view!

Very nice property. Farm animals are super friendly and like to come up close to say hi. Toilets are very clean and the valley view campsite itself was very well kept together and a nice large grassy spot for big or small groups. And it was a nice private spot to ourselves. Would definitely recommend.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! From the very beginning, the communication was fantastic, and everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The campsite itself was beautiful, and the entire property was stunning. The views were incredible and made our stay even more special. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even bringing the meat we had purchased directly to our campsite, which was such a thoughtful touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be recommending this beautiful campsite to our friends and family and would happily stay again!

Beautiful, private and serene. Cute little campsite perfect for couples. There is a creek either side of the campsite that offers beautiful scenery as well as a great soundtrack to sleep to. The views all around a really nice too. We will definitely be back!

This campsite is beautiful. Everything is well planned and the instructions were very easy to follow. The toilets were definitely the cleanest I have seen in any campsite and did not smell at all. No complaints at all. Would recommend and would love to come again :)

We have been sitting on staying here just incase it didn’t live up to its hype. So glad we decided to bite the bullet. Beautiful site, private tidy and quiet. Was fairly windy on one night so did have to pack it up early into the night but calmed down for the second night. Although we have an off grid set up including toilet, the portaloo was a pleasant surprise

The views at Riverdell are beautiful. There are a handful of campsites that are dispersed throughout the property giving you space and privacy. The portaloos were clean. It was lovely to see new calves and their mothers grazing nearby. Carolyn and Spencer communicated well and the check-in and out process was straight forward. Firewood can be bought on-site to use in the fire pit on your individual camp site.
