4WD ACCESS ONLY, when making your booking please provide: 1. Make/model of 4WD? 2. Brand/details of off-road Tyres fitted to each 4WD? AT or MT? 3. Towing a trailer? If so please advise weight (fully loaded), length (tow ball to tail lights)? 4. Access permitted in daylight hours only. If arriving after sunset, you must advise 24 hours prior. Driving after dark any time without owner-assistance is NOT permitted due to steep terrain, no lighting and black cattle. Call Owner if ETA is after sunset for escort to campsite. 5. If towing a trailer you MUST arrive in daylight hours due to the steep access. 6. Firewood not to be transported to Riverdell whilst biosecurity risk of Fire Ant spread is current. Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek branching west of the Mooloolah River to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots/shoes are highly recommended. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). There are Portaloos located at or near all campsites. Caravans or motor homes are not permitted due to the steep terrain. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

The Knoll was hands down one of the very most pleasant sleeping experiences I have ever had in my 53 years. Just superb in the sense of setting, temperature and comfort. 6 stars ⭐️

With the right rig, It’s a fun little drive down from the road. Quiet and peaceful, Owners are very helpful and accomodating. All camp sites and facilities well maintained.

Great location and friendly hosts! We booked the ‘Ocean View 1’ campsite over the weekend, instructions were clear and signs were easy to follow. Stunning views overlooking the mountains. Will definitely be back!

Amazing camp site, the site was clean and toilets where very well kept. Directions where clear and easy to understand where everything was. Owner was lovely and responded to all messages quickly to resolve any questions i had. We had a bit of rain over night and was still easy to get out of the property 10/10 will defently come back again.

Amazing camping location, plenty of space between sites, every spot with epic views, fire pits and cows cruising around. Drive down and up is fine in a 4x4. Would highly recommend, about 5 mins from Maleny also, heaps cool little village.

Insane property & epic views. All camp sites are far away from each other so definitely feels like you have your own space. Conveniently located and clean toilets for each camp site. Definitely worth a visit and to try the wagyu beef! Make sure to use 4wd Low when going down the tracks, it is steep but nothing too crazy. Was heaps of fun.

The most beautiful camp site we have ever stayed at. The ocean view was breathtaking with the valley in front. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! The sites are so private and the owners are very accomodating and welcoming.

We loved our stay here! The views were so beautiful and so private for us. It was in the perfect location and we were able to do a day trip to the beach! The owners are so lovely and were so accommodating to our whole trip. We loved the wagyu and would 100% recommend!

Unfortunately, our stay at this campsite was disappointing. The toilet facilities were not clean and didn’t appear to be well maintained, which really affected our overall experience. Considering the high price, we expected a much better standard of cleanliness and amenities. For what you pay, the campsite does not offer good value for money. We wouldn’t stay here again unless there were improvements to the facilities and upkeep.

We loved our stay at this campsite! The Ocean View #2 site had a great view overlooking the valley and the ocean. The portable toilet was also very handy. The steaks we got from Carolyn were incredible - definitely recommend.

Beautiful place for a little getaway! Quite and secluded with great views! Perfect place to relax, toilet was an added bonus, clean and tidy. Ocean View camp spot was the right choice!

This location is one of the most popular spots on Hipcamp in QLD and for good reason - the views are stunning, campfires are allowed (firewood available to purchase) and the host, Carolyn is very responsive and understanding. I had booked this spot for the last night on our 10 day trip to end it on a high but the weather forecast was looking pretty terrible so I reached out to Carolyn to see if we could potentially reschedule. She got back to me within a couple of hours and was able to accomodate us that very same night, despite the short notice. The campsite was very well kept and organised but they are firm on the '4x4 only' aspect and for good reason - the tracks to get down to the site are certainly quite steep... but that only adds to the fun. 10/10. Would certainly stay here again.

Location is outstanding. Amazing views, very friendly hosts and excellent beef patties to cook up available. They really go above and beyond here and you can see how much they love the land. Very clean toilet was also great. Will be back many times

We loved our trip to Riverdell Pastures. We booked the Valley View site, and weren’t disappointed. The views over the fire pit are spectacular, and at any point during your drive to or from the site on the property, you can’t help but stop and take in the scenery. Their firewood was high quality, seasoned and great burning. The portaloo was well kept, and well stocked. The ground was reasonably flat, with the grass well cut, green and lush. We would highly recommend this campsite to anybody looking to head camping with amazing views, and little to no noise from others. All other sites are located further away, up on the hill, so we had total privacy and not any external noise. We will definitely be back again 😊. Thankyou

Access isn’t for amateurs this track means business. Arrive before dark (seriously), and BYO water there’s no tap, no picnic tables, just a fire pit and a tree for a company. What you get? Rolling hills, grazing cattle, and views that make the effort worth every gear shift. Sunrise and sunset here are pure magic. Bottom line: If you’re faint-hearted, stick to Netflix. If you’re game, this site l will make you feel like camping royalty after you conquer the decent.

Beautiful Little Bunya! Amazing valley views and super cool spot for a weekend away. It's a great place to camp to visit Maleny, Mary Cairncross, Clouds winery across the road and the local waterfalls. We bought firewood and kindling at the property for the must have campfires both nights - with the cooler nights they were well and truly welcomed. The portaloos were really clean and campsite was well maintained, with a fire put ready to go, thank you. There was great communication from Spencer and Carolyn over the weeks leading up to our trip and well communicated instructions and guidelines. We appreciate the beautiful property that's been shared with us campers! Thank you!

Had a great experience at Riverdell fantastic campsite in such beautiful surroundings. We camped at the Knoll. Views for days. Provided toilet was the cleanest portaloo I've ever seen. Hosts were super helpful and great coms. The meat products were amazing too. Only comment would be - listen to the hosts on vehicle advice. It’s quite a climb in and out.
