Lakeview is situated near the seaside village of Beachmere on just under 50 picturesque acres of Australian bushland, 45 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and 10 minutes off the Bruce Highway. Experience the stunning vistas by the three billabongs while nestled in nature. Take nature walks, canoe and swim. Enjoy the flora, native animals and abundant birdlife or just relax by the campfire with the cooling sea breezes to add to the comfort and laid back lifestyle beside your own private open fire. You can have the best of both worlds, the bush on one hand and the bay on the other with Caboolture River boat ramp just 5 minutes away, giving you access to Moreton Bay. So why not kick back and relax away from the stress of city life. Lakeview is a private property not a commercial business, Lakeview is suitable for self-sufficient campers. There are no amenities, so you need to bring or hire your own. All payments are accepted as a donation to help maintain the grounds for our extended Lakeview family. Dogs permitted, see our FAQs in Property Rules. Campfires permitted, see our FAQs in Property Rules. Firewood is available to purchase, Honesty box on site. Please read the cancelation/credit policy as set and prescribed through the hipcamp platform. Unfortunately to keep our bookings viable and our gates open, no special allowance is made for illness, weather, mechanical breakdowns ect. If you have concerns please book last minute

Area 1A Power
Gathering Family & Friends
This whole venue is a wee piece of paradise. Site 1 & 1A are powered and are great to provide services for a function. We hired the entire venue for our wedding and it worked out great to be able to have 10 caravans / campers setup on site 2 along with 3 portaloos with still plenty of space to park and drive through.

Area 1A Power
We really loved coming on Shane's land. The powered sites are so big. Fire pits and Canoes are also scattered around the lake for campers use. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, watching the Turtles and bird life in and around the lake. We will definitely be back. The only one thing to spoil our days here was a barking dog in the unpowered site. The owner also walked his dog around the lake in the morning, allowing it poop near the waters edge close by us. The owner just left it there. Some people are thoughtless and selfish. But well done to Shane and family for opening up your magnificent property.

Lovely spot, we will definitely be back, sites were huge, views were lovely, between the playground, free canoes and water slide our kids were happy kiddos

Lakeview Area 6 (Unpowered)
A fantastic spot. Large grassy sites. We had a waterfront site that could fit 4 caravans on. The area was kept well maintained. You can walk around the lake, have a paddle on their supplied kayaks/canoes and row boat. It's so peaceful and relaxing. We were on Area 6. Definitely recommend this place. We will be returning.

Fabulous for large group gathering
This whole venue is a wee piece of paradise. Site 2 is a great large site as you enter. We hired the entire venue for our wedding and it worked out great to be able to have 10 caravans / campes setup on site 2 along with 3 portaloos with still plenty of space to park and drive through.

Additions to existing bookings (unpowered)
Beautiful spot by the lake. We were right at home here with canoes to use, water slides, a pool table and tv set up. Everyone had something to do. ☺️
