This camp is a perfect family getaway. Heaps of room between sites, as well as the sites themselves being very large. Great attractions for kids with the multiple waterslides and playground, the kids were never bored. You need to bring fuel for the pumps for the waterslide as unfortunately they have had people stealing their fuel they have supplied in the past.

The sites are a great size, and the whole complex is extremely well maintained and cared for. The playground was and lake was great entertainment for our grandkids, and the private fire pit on each site is perfect for the colder months. We will definitely be back with or without kids

Gorgeous location, spacious (site 1) and felt very private even when others were camping around the lake too. Kids playground was wonderful and gave plenty of distraction and outdoor enjoyment for our kids. Well-maintained and easy to access. We absolutely loved our time here! Having access to purchase firewood onsite was also very convenient. Although we didn’t meet the hosts in person, they were very responsive and helpful with our questions and have created a truly serene and peaceful campsite.

This is our second stay at Lakeview, and we absolutely love it! It is at the top of our list for our favourite places to visit. It is a beautiful spot with many bird species to admire, and the view of the lake and the trees is so lovely and peaceful. We stayed on Site 6 this time, and it is the best, being at the end of the line of sites and having a lovely open space with such a pretty view. The sites are a good distance apart from each other, and the grass is beautifully kept. In fact, the sandy soil is able to stand up to a lot of rain without becoming muddy, which is a huge plus. The location is great, being just north of Brisbane. The shops at Beachmere are just down the road. So handy! And Caboolture is also not far away. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Belinda and Shane, for being such wonderful, gracious hosts and for providing such a wonderful place for others to enjoy.

We have explored many Hipcamps and I think this may just be our favourite. The grounds are beautiful and the activities for the kids are endless. The campgrounds were absolutely amazing and well maintained. The site was very large and could accommodate 3-4 caravans. They had a lot of activities especially if you had children. It was a pleasure hearing the kids playing and having a great time. Love the fact they have waterslides there as well.

Our first night was lovely. We went to play pool, however there were no balls or cues available, but we still enjoyed the beautiful view. Unfortunately, the following day a large group arrived with many children screaming and running around our site, which upset our dog and impacted the peaceful atmosphere. Vehicles were also driven across our site several times, parking right next to a van as people travelled to and from the undercover area.”

We had a fantastic stay at Hipcamp and would happily return. The property is beautiful, with spacious sites that are thoughtfully spread out, so you never feel crowded. The lake was a real highlight. I even enjoyed a swim, and there was plenty of space for walking, running, and getting some exercise in a stunning natural setting. It’s also a wonderful spot for families. While we visited outside the peak summer season, we could easily see how much fun kids would have with the lake activities and open spaces available during the warmer months. What impressed us most was the customer service. We had an issue with our power inverter not working, and the team couldn’t have been more helpful. They quickly moved us to a powered site and didn’t charge us any extra. That level of service was greatly appreciated and made our stay completely stress free. Incredibly spacious sites. Huge fire pit. Beautifully maintained grass area and giant lake for kayaking etc. Slip and slide and water trampoline for the kids as well as a great playground. We were on site 8 and still have a water view. We will be back again!

We really loved this hip camp. The owners have done a fantastic job at keeping it tidy and maintained. Very relaxing stay. The lake is beautiful, we would love to go back in summer. The owners drop off firewood making it very convenient.

I loved the space, no one is camping on top of each other. U dont hear other people talking. Plenty of fires for winter. Fully grassed area so no need for ground cover sheets. Water options with dogs allowed.
