1 A - All weather campsite

This is good for 1 to 4 people.  We allow one night stays.  This site are is right next to our farm road on the property. It is unpowered. This is an all weather site for 2WD car.  Must check in before dark. This is a great site if you need some place for the night or for the weekend. It is right next to our paragliding and hang gliding training hill, so you can get a good view of people flying off or watching our tandem take off in the morning. This is an all weather site. The site is just about flat ground, you may need some small levelling blocks. We only allow one group at a time here. Campfires allowed in designated areas only and firewood must be purchase off the farm manager, as no wood or anything that can carry fire ants is to be brought onto the land.  You can buy a $35- or $50-wheelbarrow load of firewood. Please let us know how many loads you need before coming. We need notice if you want firewood. Kitchen - You must be self-contained for cooking set up. We do not have a kitchen for cooking. This is bush camping only. No glass bottles or glass to come onto the property. If we are doing lots of harvesting, we can offer you another campsite. This site is right next to our beautiful dam. The ground is leave and mowed. Your fire pit is right in front of the lake. The swimming hole is just around the corner from your campsite next to the boat ramp. The toilets are close by. This is an unpowered campsite with the option to have power for an extra $30/night per hook up. You will need a 30m power cord. Must check in before dark. The light in the evening is stunning! We have a lot of bird life on the dam. We only allow one group at a time here. Good for 1 to 3 caravans or 4 large tents. there is extra parking next to the campsite if needed. You can also watch the water skiers jump from your camp site, they are amazing. If you want to be away from people then this site is not for you. We only allow one group at a time here. Good for 1 caravans, camper trailer or tents or two roof top tents. We had a lovely stay at this Hipcamp spot. The place itself is beautiful and very peaceful, which made for a really relaxing camping experience. I also really appreciated having portable toilets located around the site, which made it easy and convenient to access them, even at night. There are a few things that could be improved to make the experience even better. The signage around the site could be clearer — although there is a small map provided, it can still feel a bit confusing when navigating the area for the first time. We also found the firewood to be quite expensive compared to other places we’ve stayed. Lastly, considering the number of camping spots and guests, the shower facilities felt a bit limited, with only two showers available for the whole site, which can lead to waiting times. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay and would still recommend this place for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere

We had a lovely stay at Sky Ranch Camping Grounds for one night. The views were absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of the trip. The campsites had enough space and privacy from each other that we felt comfortable and relaxed during our stay. The cows roaming freely around the campsite added a really unique and peaceful country atmosphere, which we enjoyed. The showers were great — hot, clean, and coin-operated. There are only two showers available though, so it’s best to plan your timing to avoid a wait during busy periods. The toilets were fairly rough, but that’s pretty typical for portable toilets at camping grounds, so it didn’t take away too much from the experience overall. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend Sky Ranch to anyone looking for scenic views and a relaxed camping experience.

Overall it was a nice experience however the sites along the damn are too close together. $142 per night was too much for a small, unpowered site. Couldn’t fish in the damn. Couldnt use own firewood, had to purchase theirs which was $60 for one nights worth of firewood.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Oz Sky Ranch and are already planning the next trip! We stayed in spot 23, which was great and pretty private. The views are gorgeous and the cows are very friendly!

I absolutely loved my stay here and will definitely come back! Lisa was incredibly helpful, responsive, and such a lovely person to deal with throughout the whole experience. The only small letdown, and not really a problem was the price of the firewood. I completely understand and agree with the rules about not bringing wood from outside, but paying around $35–$50 felt a little expensive. Besides that, everything was fantastic. Beautiful place, great atmosphere, and I’ll definitely be back!

Campsite 18 was perfect for a group of mates who want their own space away from the crowd but had access to amenities and the beautiful lake for some swimming throughout the day. Host Lisa was very nice and accommodating and they provide their own firewood which saves a lot of effort on your end!

Land and space itself was spectacular but the toilet facility was not good enough and it was not cleaned, ended up using the one far away. I went to the unpower site and it was great that I have a lot of space. Recommend coming here with family and groups.

What a gorgeous site! Beautiful views, clean amenities and easy to get to! We had the privilege of staying on site 10 and the site was immaculate right on the lake. Lisa was so friendly and welcoming and we were treated with cows grazing through on our last morning. I would absolutely recommend this to anybody seeking a cozy camp right next to a beautiful lake. Dont be discouraged about reviews complaining about the rules, they're not unreasonable if you're just a normal respectful human 🙂

We stayed here expecting a peaceful and private experience based on the listing, and while the location itself is nice, our stay didn’t quite match those expectations. At $75 per night for an unpowered site, we were anticipating a quieter atmosphere and privacy. The campground was much busier than it appeared online. We understand it was likely a peak period, but it did make it difficult to enjoy the peace and serenity that was advertised. The shared facilities were also very crowded. we didn’t get to use the showers due to long wait times. Additionally, we barely saw any sites that had flat ground which made sleeping comfortably a challenge! Noise was another challenge, with nearby groups talking (arguing) late into the night and a social, lively environment with some parties heard in the distance. This spot may be well suited to those looking for a more social camping experience. However, if you’re after a quiet and restful stay, it may be worth checking how busy the site is before booking.

Great Girls Weekend Location

After planning a weekend of hiking , eating and visiting the Mt Tamborine Arts Trail we were looking for a close camp site that allowed campfires and a few luxuries light at hot showers and toilets so we weren’t completely roughing it . Oz Sky was perfect . We had site 53 which overlooked the lake and was a very short walk to the shower block. Lisa the host is amazing and the location great to enjoy a weekend getaway to just relax or use as a beautiful base to explore the Mount Tamborine area .

Was a lovely large flat green grass site close to the showers and only a short walk to the water. Will definitely be back but on a site closer to the water. Well set up & organised campgrounds!

Had a great experience overall! Lisa was super helpful, suggesting we check out the terrain beforehand since we had both a large and small car, just in case the path was tricky for the smaller one. We ended up at Camp Sites 41 for the weekend, and the space was excellent. My only feedback is that the showers and bathrooms were a bit few for the number of people; practically one bathroom for five or six campsites and only two showers for everyone was a bit tight. 🏕️🌲

Disappointed not pre-booked site

Pre-booked a specific site. When i arrived on-site and the site had been given to someone else. I was offered another site however because it was a rooftop tent, it had to be a particular site. The site assigned was further back out of the way, but didnt have a view like the one pre-booked. I wasn't told that there were other RTT sites available, otherwise I would have picked another site. Disappointed with service and communication

My group and I had such an amazing stay there and we are so excited to go back. 100% recommend the lake site, the dam was so nice to swim in and we went around Easter time. Everything was beautiful.

Good spot and owners are polite and helpful. We had noisey neighbours that played rave music until 4am which wasn’t great but it’s the luck of the draw when staying at these camp sites

Almost cancelled the booking as the rules were a bit much and sounded overwhelming. Had to scroll 17 pages down to read start from finish. Some rules were ridiculous but didnt affect us so we went anyway. Glad we did the site was really good, didnt see the host at all so cant comment on them. Toliets and showers available but we just used our own. The only issue with our site was the firepit location was so far away from the van location and you had to fight with 20 toads to walk from van to pit. Just annoying as one of the rules was we couldn't move the pit location. Other then that everything was great.

Lovely location! The kayaks were awesome, the kids loved going for a paddle. Also fantastic facilities, the porter loos were very well kept and the showers at the event centre were great. Would definitely go back.

We stayed on the hill top site: Beautiful spacious site with views of the lake.. very private, flat & mowed area. The sunset views were absolutely lovely! 10/10 would definitely recommend to a friend. Lisa was very kind when she greeted us on a busy Easter weekend!

We loved our second time camping at Oz Skyranch. The bathrooms are beautiful, portaloos close to all the campsites and the lake is stunning. My kids highlights are the chickens and cows! We all enjoyed borrowing the kayaks that were there and our own paddleboards. We were all jumping off the jetty for a swim. So much space and you can choose privacy or more open spaces. Craig and Lisa were really helpful and I loved having the wood dropped off to the site. We will be back again for sure. Thank you so much Craig and Lisa

Really enjoyed our stay at Oz Sky Ranch lakeside! We had an amazing stay at Campsite 3A. Lisa and Craig were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The views were absolutely stunning, especially in the afternoons. The sunsets over the lake and the open sky at night made for a really special experience. The facilities were great too. The porta-loo toilets were well maintained and kept clean, and the shower facility was modern, spotless, and just a short walk away. Highly recommend this spot—we’ll definitely be back.

Great spot! All the sites have well maintained lawns and fire pits, close to clean toilets, a lake for swimming and some kayaks free to use. Site 26 had shade and some others too. We chatted to Craig and he's a good bloke. We'll be back
