We now offer a flush toilet and a Soul- nourishing private indoor shower with a large window overlooking the lush forest and volcanic rim adding nature's calm to your experience. We offer 3 separate powered sites, NOTE: . You will need to have 2 X 20mtr power leads to hook to power though. We have room for large caravans, motorhomes . Please note, one vehicle/caravan per site. If you have multiple vehicles/caravans, you will need to book multiple sites. Weather permitting (no rain) we also have 3 exclusive unpowered sites available in another paddock, closer to the creek. There is no power or water at these sites, and you will need to be self-contained. There is a choice of 4 sites , but only 3 can be booked at any one time. The peace and tranquillity and spectacular scenery make this the ideal place to relax and unwind or the perfect spot to base yourself while you explore everything the Tweed Shire and the Northern Rivers Region has to offer. On arrival you get to choose your own unpowered spot. You then set up camp. The caretaker will check you in at the spot you have chosen towards the end of the day. Misty Mountain Campgrounds is suitable for tent campers, caravans, camper trailers and motorhomes.. PLEASE NOTE - Children aged between 3 and 15 are booked under Child Rates, Children 2 and under are Free and do not have to be booked in. Our campground is on my family’s dairy farm that has been in the family since 1904. I’m the 4th generation on the farm and work alongside my parents and my husband operating the family business of milking cows. The campsite is on a private area of flat ground right beside the Oxley River with views of Mt Warning. We are excited to share our piece of paradise with others. We DO have a composting toilet but DON’T have any shower facilities. Although the creek is very close by we advise you bring your own drinking water. We are pleased to provide a gravelled campfire area along with a gorgeous outdoor setting that seats 8. Our campground provides a unique private camping opportunity. Once you book whether it is for a group of one or 25 no one else can book the site. The site is not visible from the road. Perfect for a relaxing getaway that brings you close to nature and connecting with friends. As we are a working farm, unfortunately, we cannot allow pets.

You are welcome to climb to the top of the property if you are physically up for the challenge and take in breath taking views of both Mount warning up close and the surrounding area. This is a private camp site with its own fire pit area. Mount warning is currently closed to the public to climb but there is plenty of creeks, a swimming hole close by and land to explore. We are a 40 minute drive from Mebbin National Park, 25 minutes to the town of Nimbin and just over an hour from Byron Bay and plenty of beaches. Enjoy relaxing relaxing around the campfire in our spacious campsites or enjoy a splash or paddle in the small creek. There is drinking water, a hot shower and a compost toilet available for campers. There are a range of campsites available from the edge of the forest down to creek front sites (4WD only) and in the Pecan orchard. Great location for groups/families.. Plenty of space between sites and very peaceful. Porta-loo and bins available. Owners were very friendly and came every day to check supplies in toilets and empty bins. Great creek for kids to swim in with turtles but path down can be tricky and slippery.

5 minute walk from the show grounds camping area to town. The most gorgeous town saturated with beautifully decorated cafes/restaurant. Local pub with sports bar, great restaurant and luckily for us some live entertainment. Short walk to the creek and swimming area where you can spot a platypus Win win Absolutely loved it there!

A wonderful Place to stay, view are spectacular local people are friendly. Camp grounds are well maintained with clean toilets and showers and a large open undercover kitchen. The owners are friendly and happy to assist. The town is a short walk where you'll find the convience store, flutterbys Cafe with a maze of small shops inside. The pub has a swimming pool and great dinning specials. Not to forget the Gelato shop next to the community hall. This is open weekends and is the best Gelato, and has great prices.👌

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely loved our stay at Oxley View! The views were stunning and the whole place was so peaceful—perfect for relaxing and switching off. The owners were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, which made us feel very welcome. Swimming in the creek was incredibly refreshing, and kayaking was a great bonus. A beautiful spot we’d happily return to and highly recommend.
