Weekend Trip to Hazy Stays

We loved camping at Camp Hazy. It was peaceful and the views are beautiful! The grounds are flat and well maintained. The hosts were very obliging and communication was excellent! The only visitors we had were an old dog that came and said hello when we arrived, and some geese and a couple of ducks. It was very private. It’s only a 3 minute drive to town and beaches! We had a spectacular night watching meteors in the uninterrupted sky 💫☄️⭐️ We will definitely be back

3 nights at Burringbar Camping - The Haven

Stayed for 3 nights at Kates property and it was great. We had the area to ourselves and stayed in front of the bamboo area facing the road so we got full max of the sun for our solar. Was not an issue facing the road side at all. Welcomed on arrival by Kates husband (sorry, forgot his name). Like others have mentioned, firewood & firepit supplied and even down to fire starters! Communication with Kate was excellent. 40 minute drive to Tweed Heads so location is pretty good. Will definitely be back if we need a getaway from the Gold Coast or see another show in Tweed Heads.

We had a lovely stay. Easy to find and the scenery near the creek was wonderful. We enjoyed watching the birds and turtles. Nice and close to the beach and shops in Pottsville. Will stay again.

We had a very relaxing overnight camp. There was plenty of choice locations and space to pitch our tent and enjoy a fire. There are port-a-loos dotted around the property so it's never far to a toilet!

Great spot. Super friendly and helpful host. Toilet was clean. Site was flat and well maintained. 5 minute drive to the beach and creek and great cafes. Lovely ducks. My only note would be it does feel a bit like you’re in the owners garden and there is some road noise but would still recommend!

A very peaceful location all to yourself so close to town and the beach. Well set up with some solar lights, fire-pit, table, benches and swing. The dogs loved the freedom and there are some great off lead dog beaches close by. The elevated location meant we also had some lovely cooling breezes.

We loved Amani Acres! Such a peaceful, lush & cosy little camp all to ourselves, not too far away from the convenience and hustle & bustle of the Gold Coast & Tweed Heads. We ended up extending our stay! The owner was lovely & friendly but still respected our privacy. Will definitely come back if we’re in the area again!

Surrounded on 4 sides by National Park. Bliss. Ocean views from the top of the paddock at the campsite. High chance of seeing a koala as located in a conservation zone. Really private place for a campsite, not visible from the road, perfect for a fire and a restful sleep. Very basic, no facilities, please keep your expectations modest.

Coast and country combined. 25 acre farm is surrounded by other large farms and beautiful countryside as far as the eye can see. - However you are only 2.5 minutes drive to the nearest beach (Casuarina) and shops! The land is elevated, flood free and has some ocean views/breezes. Guests MUST be fully self contained with their own toilet facilities. This must be shown to host on arrival. If you do not have your own toilet you will be asked to leave. If you want to pay a bit extra for your own private ensuite (running water, hot shower, power, lights, vanity and flushing toilet) then you can stay without your own toilet. Cabarita beach (voted best beach in Australia for 2020 and 2021) is only 7 min away, Fingal and Dreamtime Beaches 10 min drive. - When there is a bit of swell you can hear the crashing of waves at night time as you relax. - Camping area is a long way from the street so no noise pollution & no light pollution - with countless stars if there is a clear evening with no clouds. - I do not know how to change 'pets' status on website. But they are only allowed if you describe they type of pet/breed and promise they will be safe on a lead at all times and not roam around the farm doing what they want. Busy weekends they may not be allowed - ask when booking. This site can easily accommodate small or large groups with flushing toilets, hot showers, kitchen and fridge available. There is also lots of Bell - 'glamping tents' for full luxury provided. If someone in your group wants it all 'finished' when you arrive.

It's an easy 9 minute drive to Pottsville Beach and we offer a flat patch of grassed land next to a dam with a maximum of 4 separate occupants (so it will never be crazy and over crowded like a caravan park). The perfect spot to spread out and relax, have a camp fire, look at the trees and explore the wonders Northern Rivers has to offer. These include beautiful beach's, walks, hikes, the Tweed Valley Rail Trail and Uki Mountain bike park all close by. Only 7 minute drive into Pottsville town which has an IGA, great cafes and restaurants, bottle shop and a few specially stores. 30min drive to either the Gold Coast or Byron Bay. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all rubbish and waste with them on departure.

2023 HIPCAMP RUNNER- UP FOR BEST CABIN RENTAL IN AUSTRALIA We have converted a container into a tiny home overlooking our gardens. Relax and unwind by the outdoor fireplace by night while you enjoy the sunset views over the hills. We are close to shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, creeks and parks. It is only a short drive to Pottsville town. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern Rivers. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like some recommendations. The container has been converted into a tiny livable space with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, air conditioner, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (towels and linen are an added extra), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and bbq area. You may like to meet our pet ducks or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. Spa treatments, yoga, bushwalking and water activities are all close by. Unfortunately our goats are currently doing weed maintenance on a nearby property and may not be here for your booking. If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting. 25 minutes to Gold Coast airport. 30minutes to Byron Bay. We will also plant one tree per booking. Your privacy is important to us! The glass doors are tinted and reflective, plus curtains are available for more privacy. The main house is a little over 50m from the tiny home. The sites are located near a quiet country no-through road. Sites are all fairly level, best to bring levellers if you require it dead level;) The village is an easy walk, ride, or drive away (just over 1 km). Great location for camping and enjoying nature. Loads of birdlife and if you are lucky enough, you might get a glimpse of a platypus in the creek or Koalas as we have a Koala corridor on our property & also Wallabies. The Northern Rivers Rail Trail is nearby and is great for walking and bike riding. Wooyung and Pottsville Beaches are less than 15 minute's drive. The townships of Murwillumbah and Brunswick Heads are also only 15 minute's drive away. The village of Burringbar is only 30 minutes from Byron Bay and or the Gold Coast. In the village itself there are options for food, drink and entertainment, with a General store, Post office, Thai restaurant, Natural Wine Shop, Coffee Shops, Pharmacy, Butcher, Cheese factory, and Sports Club .
