Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Escape to your own private coastal haven where rolling hills meet ocean views. This peaceful acreage offers wide open space, fresh sea breezes, and a true sense of seclusion—perfect for unwinding, reconnecting, and soaking up nature at its finest. Spend your days exploring the surrounding land, hiking, mountain bike riding or visiting the nearby beaches. With only 1 camp site there is plenty of privacy making it ideal for couples, families, or solo travellers seeking a calm and restorative escape. If you’re looking for a blend of coastal beauty, open countryside, and peaceful solitude—this is your place.Sunterra is located on an elevated ridge-line of undulating, grassy sites. To access the camp site you will need a 4wd to climb a short however steep and rocky road which then continues on for approximately 1km of flat track until you reach the destination. Guests will be completely off grid whilst at Sunterra and need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace. There is a fire pit available for use and we are happy for guests to bring their pets. Whilst visiting Sunterra you can access the border trail walking track along with multiple mountain bike tracks. A must do would be enjoying one of our nearby beaches which is a short 15 minute drive away.

Sunterra
Beautiful private spot with ocean view and GC city lights in the distance. Heaps of firewood prepared and stacked ready for when I arrived. Lovely spot, Will definitely return.,
