We are an environmental biodiversity precinct so don’t permit damage to vegetation. FIRES: Plenty of existing fire spots SHOPS: The township of Blackheath is 15klm away up on the Gt Western Hwy, none in the Valley SHADE: Plenty of shady areas WATER: We are on town water TOILETS there are 3 men's and 3 women's, plus 8 at reception, plus 3 in pioneer and 3 in corner paddock SHOWERS: 3 gas hot water showers in men's, 3 in women's, plus 2 in Lodge NOISE: Shutdown time for music is 10pm - no exceptions! but you can still enjoy the fires - quietly. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store. Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations. We are surrounded by the stunning valley views of Marra Marra National Park. Guests can enjoy hiking, wandering the orchard picking fresh produce, taking a tractor ride, feeding the animals and relaxing. Please note we are a working farm so sometimes tractors and vehicles can be heard working from 7am. There will be foot traffic and possibly tractor rides operating near some of the sites although we will do our best to respect your privacy while you are here. We also have a quarry surrounding most of the property, so they sometimes operate machinery early. This is not generally too disruptive though. We are just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful historical Wiseman's Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are multiple hiking tracks located close by. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

Two hours north of Hornsby. 1 hour north of Newcastle. 2 mins to Pindimar beach, 9 minutes to Coles and bottle shop, 11 minutes to surf beach Bennett Beach 12 minutes to Jimmy's Beach. Pets are welcome please pick up after them. All dogs from now on must be on a leash at all times as you cannot predict what other campers's dog is going to be like. Any dog on the NSW dangerous dogs list is absolutely not welcome here. Free use of fire pits. 1st wheelbarrow of firewood is free. After that $15 for 20kg bag. Hot showers and decent toilets, Good mobile phone signal. Two Communal Fridges .There is lots of space for campers. We have two sites with shade, the rest without. We suggest you bring a decent quality gazebo or equivalent. If you choose a non-shady site and then it's sunny, it is beyond our control. We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm. PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. No limit on number of tents. 2) IF You Have more than 3 vehicles/site please contact host before booking. 3) Depending on the weather on the day, we may have to limit the number of vehicles that can be parked adjacent to your campsite. 4) NO late night check in . If you are a group larger than two people, the check in time is between midday and sunset. If you arrive after sunset make sure you have a torch. If in doubt call. 5) As the business name suggests (mountain) our property is on a hill. we are creating more level campsites. Shade trees are being planted. But they are slow to grow. 6) Please check weather report a minimum of 7 days before you arrive and CANCEL your booking if you are not sure. 7) We cannot control the wind, the sun, rain, or lack of rain.

A property with amazing river access a history of great fishing and gold panning. The steep terrain adjacent the river lends itself to some fantastic scenery, the perfect place to unplug and enjoy the peace and quiet. Grab a tube and float down the river rapids, or just relax in camp listening to the sounds of nature. We have an abundance of bird life and wild cattle roaming the property, theres so much to see and enjoy With a small number of sites on the property you're sure to feel like the only ones in the world. Currently access is 4WD recommended due to the steep terrain. Any towing MUST be done with a 4WD. AWD and rear wheel drive vehicles are fine, though good idea to check with us FWD vehicles are NOT permitted. Good ground clearance is required

Welcome to Goolabri, a peaceful country escape just 10 minutes from Canberra. Set on land that was once a golf course and surrounded by natural bushland, it’s the perfect place to slow down, breathe out, and enjoy a relaxed stay in nature. Camp near our dams, wander the nearby nature reserve, and wake up to the sounds of birds and the sight of kangaroos grazing nearby. It’s an easy, quiet getaway that still feels close to everything. Suitable for tents, campers, vans, and caravans, with good 2WD access. Small campfires are permitted in designated areas when restrictions aren’t in place. You’re welcome to collect dead wood from the old golf course area (please don’t collect from the nature reserve). No pets permitted. What to do nearby If you feel like a treat, the Little Sutton Bakehouse is a fantastic local bakery, and the Eagle Hawk Pub is just down the road with amazing meals. And when you want more adventure, everything Canberra has to offer is right there markets, galleries, wineries, walks, restaurants, and live music. Goolabri is also a perfect campground for anyone attending Canberra or local festivals and events, giving you a calm place to return to at the end of the day. Weekend Trip to Canoelands Orchard Camping

Amazing place, chilled and so accomodating. We stayed on site 14 and was completely off grid with no issues. No dramas with trees around so we had full advantage of the sun in the sky! The kids picked fruit all day and had the best time. There’s also a fire pit at each site so it ticked all the boxes. We’ve just booked again for a few weeks. An hour from home and we really can’t complain! Great work Jamie and family ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The site along the river is beautiful. It had everything we enjoy about hipcamp sites- privacy, peace and quiet. Whilst this is a dog friendly site, it would be great if people cleaned up after their dogs 🐕. There was 🐕💩 everywhere.

We stayed for one night in our caravan at Canoelands Orchard. It was a very peaceful, relaxed setting amongst the fruit trees. Our site was huge and easy to get into. It was nice and close to Sydney for our last leg of our trip home.

Love staying here next to the river.... Place is clean,you can get firewood on site for camp fires under the stars with the beautiful view of MacKenzies Mountain. It's close enough to town to get supplies. The host is really friendly... Hare Krsna Farm next door means you can visit the temple and attend the programs of morning Aartis and festivals with singing and dancing.

Where to go

The Blue Mountains

Lace up your boots for one of Australia's best bushwalking destinations. The ridge of mountains two hours west of Sydney by road or train is a World Heritage-listed wonderland of sandstone canyons, waterfalls, valleys, and clifftop lookouts. The national park offers remote bush campsites, or you can go for a bit more comfort in one of the region’s many caravan and holiday parks.

NSW North Coast

The coastline of northern NSW, from north of Newcastle to the Queensland border, is classic beach holiday territory. Almost every town has at least one caravan park, often with waterfront campsites, and most of the coastline is protected by national parks with fantastic camping spots and facilities. Flanked by the Great Dividing Range and World Heritage rainforests, the North Coast has Hipcampers spoilt for choice.

NSW South Coast

Every bit as wild as the North Coast, the South Coast stretches south of Sydney to the Victorian border with a string of national parks, state forests, campgrounds, and seaside towns with family-friendly holiday parks. Kangaroos and wallabies graze the camping grounds and laze on the beaches, which have some of the whitest sand in the world. Kayak the waterways, bushwalk the forests, and soak in the views from the mountaintops.

Snowy Mountains

Alpine New South Wales, also known as the Snowy Mountains, stretches from the ACT south to the Victorian border along the spine of the Great Dividing Range. Along with hundreds of camping spots, the big attraction of Kosciuszko National Park—the largest national park in NSW—is Australia’s highest peak, Mount Kosciuszko. In winter, the area is a magnet for skiers, and in summer, fishing, bushwalking, and mountain biking reign supreme.

NSW Outback

The far western corner of NSW is a great introduction to the Outback, where endless red dust plains seem to stretch on forever under cloudless blue skies. Take a road trip out here and you'll see plenty of kangaroos and emus, but not many people. National parks such as Mungo, Mutawintji, and Kinchega offer superb camping spots, Aboriginal art sites, and stunning scenery.
