5 Vehicle/Tent sites
Canoelands Orchard Camping and Fruit Picking, is located just 1 hour from Sydney's CBD. The property is 81 acres in total with a small shop and cafe onsite. We offer pick your own fruit so are open to the public daily. We are surrounded by the stunning valley views of Marra Marra National Park. Guests can enjoy hiking, wandering the orchard picking fresh produce, taking a tractor ride, feeding the animals and relaxing. Please note we are a working farm so sometimes tractors and vehicles can be heard working from 7am. There will be foot traffic and possibly tractor rides operating near some of the sites although we will do our best to respect your privacy while you are here. We also have a quarry surrounding most of the property, so they sometimes operate machinery early. This is not generally too disruptive though. We are just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful historical Wiseman's Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are multiple hiking tracks located close by. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

Site 5 - Camp by the dam
A magical place to camp!
We had such a wonderful time staying here and Jaime, her husband, the people who worked at the cafe and Billy the dog were all so welcoming! Even the goats, horses and pigs came over by their fences to say g’day to us. Our camping spot by the dam was absolutely magical!! It was gorgeous and private. The sunset was stunning, We were serenaded by the frogs at night and the birds in the morning. We picked some delicious mandarins and sampled breakfast and drinks at the bustling and warm cafe. We also had access to toilets, a shower and water if we needed it. I can’t recommend camping here enough. And if you have children they will love it too!! We will be back for peach and nectarine season!!! :-)

Site 5 - Camp by the dam
Wholesome and beautiful campsite
We loved our two nights here. Jaime and Nathan were lovely, easy to communicate with and really accommodating - ensuring we had an alternate site that wasn’t too muddy after lots of rain. Our 3yo loved animal feeding, tractor rides and fruit picking. There wasn’t much noise near the road and our site felt like we had heaps of space and not too far of a walk from amenities. Added plus for us was the fire drum provided, beautiful gully and dam, and minimal light pollution around - we saw so many stars! This place would suit campers who have kids or don’t mind some weekend bustle for people who come through for activities at the orchard. Thanks Jaime and Nathan, we’re keen to come back!

Site 5 - Camp by the dam
Highly recommended for families
We loved Jamie and Nathan’s campsite. They are wonderful hosts. The property has plenty of things to do, from a short bush walk, to fruit picking and feeding the animals too. We enjoyed it as much as our 3 year old and look forward to coming back soon. Thank you for having us.

Site 1 - Orchard Escape
Just Stunning!!!
What an Amazing experience this stay was!!! We stayed for 2 nights in what I call as one of the most peaceful, private and a stunning location close to sydney to unwind and relax. This place is so beautiful, you could do photo shoots here. Our kids had an absolute blast with fruit picking, star gazing near the fire pit, animal feeding and just running around in the lush grassed areas. You have the orchard on one side and amazing valley views on the other. One of the prettiest places we've been to for an amazing Sunset. Jaime and her husband are so accommodating and their hospitality is next to none. If you feel like an early morning walk through the orchards to the shop, Jaime will make you one of the best coffees to start your morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will defenitly be back and stay for more nights. Thanks again Jaime!!
