At the foot of the Watagan mountains, close to the Watagan 4WD tracks, picnic areas, and bike tracks. Also close to Lake Macquarie where you will find fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing etc. About a 20 - 40 min drive to beautiful beaches. Ideal for those wanting to be surrounded by birds, nature and a couple of friendly doggos. Also great for people wanting to try out their new camper, van or tent for the 1st time as we are an easy 1 hour drive north of Sydney on the M1 and close enough to shops for those forgotten items. Also we have unfenced dams, if you are camping with young children please consider carefully and let me know before booking. We have very basic bathroom facilities of 1 flushing toilet in the shed and an outdoor warm shower.

Bunyip's Under the Pine - Primitive
Pretty Campsite within Cooee of Syd
Wish we could have stayed longer. We especially loved receiving a visit from the resident doggos who turned up just in time for breakfast. They are clearly living their best life. Location was a convenient stop just north of Sydney. Campsite felt safe and private but not isolated, with other campers within cooee, other side of the trees. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't enjoy a campfire under the giant pine. Thanks Lisa for hosting us

Bunyip's Wattle Grove - primitive
Beautiful, grassy site. Privacy between campsites. Close to Morrisett for supplies and on the doorstep of the Watagans National Park. Would recommend.

Bunyip's Wattle Grove - primitive
Nice place. Pretty. Easy to book and arrive. Firewood was available. Shower and toilet were nasty. Nice for my doggy.

Bunyip's Under the Pine - Primitive
A great place to camp, very private and quiet spots on the site yet is also very central to the forest, National Park as well as Cooranbong village for any supplies.
