Please be advised that we do not permit campers to arrive after hours, you need to arrive prior to 5.30 when the office is open in order to get the site allocation,
1. We are not permitting people to set up in the dark, it is totally black, no lighting in wilderness zone and far too difficult to locate your site, and it disturbs other campers.
2. If you have other campers coming make sure you book on the one booking otherwise you will not be placed together.
Our property is nestled in 2000 acres of totally private wilderness in the centre of the lush valley in the heart of the Blue Mountains

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
PHONES: Phone reception is good, there is a Telstra exchange on the property.
ROADS: Roads around the sites are unsealed, but most normal cars and the average SUV handle it okay. The road down into the Megalong Valley is tar sealed, very scenic but winding.
ICE: Bring your own ice
WOOD: Timber for fires can be purchased at reception. We are an environmental biodiversity precinct so don’t permit damage to vegetation.
FIRES: Plenty of existing fire spots
SHOPS: The township of Blackheath is 15klm away up on the Gt Western Hwy, none in the Valley
SHADE: Plenty of shady areas
WATER: We are on town water
TOILETS there are 3 men's and 3 women's, plus 8 at reception, plus 3 in pioneer and 3 in corner paddock
SHOWERS: 3 gas hot water showers in men's, 3 in women's, plus 2 in Lodge
NOISE: Shutdown time for music is 10pm - no exceptions! but you can still enjoy the fires - quietly.
THINGS TO DO:
SCENIC RAILWAY 25 Klms away at Katoomba and 40 minutes travel time
BIKE and WALKING TRACKS: Plenty of bush tracks, plus walks up at Porters Pass and Blackheath
Dont forget to bring along some bread to feed the horses and donkeys - they love it
You are reminded to allow enough time to arrive for this property.prior to dark, which is 5.0 in winter.
It is difficult to find a wilderness campsite in the dark and disturbs other campers.
We are requiring ALL vehicles to get registered PRIOR to going up to the site, resulting from so many vehicles trespassing at the venue and causing nuisances for other campers
Please indicate the details of cars such as make, model , colour and rego number prior to arrival.
We must also remind campers that this is not a venue for noisy partying as we are a quiet wilderness environmental zone. We do not tolerate it and will remove offenders. Other campers treasure the peace and quiet.

Kids will love the farm tour (3.30pm to 4.30pm daily later in summer months) for the feeding of chickens, ducks, bunny rabbits, horse, donkeys, sheep and goats. It's an excellent area for mountain bike riding as well!
Kayaks/push bikes available for free.
Don't have a caravan, we have partnered up with Wrighty's Caravan Hire and Repairs. They offer family caravans delivered, setup ready for you to enjoy.
Pets allowed but you must have on lead when walking around the property near cattle. Note a maximum of 2 dogs per camp site.
Rules:
1. For the piece and quiet of other campers all check-ins must be before 5.30pm during the colder months. Check ins after 7pm may be turned away in busy times.
2. No Fireworks - this is very unsettling for our livestock
3. 9pm quiet time.
4. No drones in the camping area, for the privacy of other campers
5. Generators are allowed for short period of time but not permitted after 8pm.
6. Dogs on leads when walking around the farm - Limit of 2 dogs per camp site.
7. STRICKLY NO GLASS AT RIVER - campers will be asked to leave immediately

We offer pick your own fruit so are open to the public daily (closed on occasion). Trading hours can be viewed at www.bookingscanoeladns.com. We are surrounded by the stunning valley views of Marra Marra National Park. Guests can enjoy hiking, wandering the orchard picking fresh produce, taking a tractor ride, feeding the animals and relaxing. Please note we are a working farm so sometimes tractors and vehicles can be heard working from 7am. There will be foot traffic and possibly tractor rides operating near some of the sites although we will do our best to respect your privacy while you are here. We also have a quarry surrounding most of the property, so they sometimes operate machinery early. This is not generally too disruptive though. We are just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful historical Wiseman's Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are multiple hiking tracks located close by. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

The property is just 5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store.
Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations.
We do have a bathtub’s on 3 sites that can be heated with fire.

As part of this we have to follow some simple protocol! Unfortunately, we have had some issues with local council, we ask that you follow these simple rules extremely closely failure to do may cause us to reject your booking and may incur penalties to both of us as the landholders and also the camper.
1. STRICTLY No Caravans, RV's, Tents or any camping site is to be set up within 50 meters of the creek.
2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time - we must know your exact numbers.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds, treat it like you would a National Park.
4. ALL WASTE must be bagged and taken off site with you. The rubbish bins in the street are not ours. They belong to the people that live in the valley. You must be prepared to take all rubbish home with you.

We are "The Sleepy Hollow Manor Estate" located in the heart of the breathtaking Sleepy Hollow Valley which is hidden snugly between the small seaside town of Pottsville and the Tweed Valley.
Once you're here you feel all your worries and stress drift away as you unwind and relax in the Manor estate and its surrounds. A farm with a difference, with a small-scale ECO low impact primitive camping style.
Enjoy the peace and tranquility as you hear the birds or just sit watching the water trickle through the creeks and waterholes. We have array of wildlife on our estate and its surrounds.
We are also available for Weddings, Birthdays and other day time gatherings. Speak to us about using us for a working space for corporate or business trips, collaborations and more.

We are a farm forestry property located in the middle of the north shore of Port Stephens. Two hours north of Hornsby. 1 hour north of Newcastle.
2 mins to Pindimar beach, 9 minutes to Coles and bottle shop, 11 minutes to surf beach Bennett Beach 12 minutes to Jimmy's Beach.
Pets are welcome please pick up after them. All dogs from now on must be on a leash at all times as you cannot predict what other campers's dog is going to be like. Any dog on the NSW dangerous dogs list is absolutely not welcome here.
Free use of fire pits. 1st wheelbarrow of firewood is free. After that $15 for 20kg bag.
Hot showers and decent toilets, Good mobile phone signal. Two Communal Fridges .There is lots of space for campers. We have two sites with shade, the rest without. We suggest you bring a decent quality gazebo or equivalent. If you choose a non-shady site and then it's sunny, it is beyond our control.
We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm.
PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. No limit on number of tents.
2) IF You Have more than 3 vehicles/site please contact host before booking.
3) Depending on the weather on the day, we may have to limit the number of vehicles that can be parked adjacent to your campsite.
4) NO late night check in . If you are a group larger than two people, the check in time is between midday and sunset. If you arrive after sunset make sure you have a torch. If in doubt call.
5) As the business name suggests (mountain) our property is on a hill. we are creating more level campsites. Shade trees are being planted. But they are slow to grow.
6) Please check weather report a minimum of 7 days before you arrive and CANCEL your booking if you are not sure.
7) We cannot control the wind, the sun, rain, or lack of rain.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was such a beautiful, peaceful and family-friendly farm stay.
The kids loved making full use of the playground and especially enjoyed taking the kayaks out onto the river from the property. The afternoon farm tour was a real highlight too — they got to feed the ducks, chickens, goats, sheep, rabbits, horse and donkey, which they absolutely loved!
We also really appreciated the fresh fruit, eggs and herbs from the garden. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stop on our travels.
We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to families travelling with kids!

We were blessed with terrible weather and despite this Mei offered us shelter in the amazing amenities. Lovely to have a hot shower. I cannot stress how good the amenities are. Beautiful views. We were the only guests but I can imagine that if it’s busy you are quite close to your neighbours like at a traditional campsite.

This is an absolutely delightful location and stay. Cheryl is a wonderful host and if you have kids we 100% recommend joining her to feed the animals - goats, ducks, chickens, sheep, rabbits, guinea fowl, as well as a horse and a donkey. Although slightly on the expensive side for no power or water - we extended our stay as we enjoyed it so much. Our site was very shaded - so if you need solar don't pick site 3. Also the river was lovely to swim in.

Rick & Cheryl were very accommodating and friendly.
The kids loved feeding the animals and swimming in the river.
They had bikes, boogie boards and kayaks for the kids to have free use which means we didn't have to take ours.

Beautiful large, green and spacious campsites. Kids had plenty of fun on the equipment provided and enjoyed riding their bikes around. The creek had shallow sections which was perfect for the kids to walk through and explore. Kids also loved being able to feed the farm animals. Owners were very lovely, chatty and accommodating. Checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. We were offered to pick some lemons and blood oranges from the fruit trees after feeding the farm animals which the kids also enjoyed

Such a lovely place to unwind and relax with the kids. It’s peaceful, quiet and so calming, with absolutely no stress. We stayed on Camp 1, which is powered, and in my opinion it’s the best spot. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! ❤️

Great spot, tucked away from the highway and while you can hear the road a bit it's dulled down a bit by the noise of the ocean overnight which is lovely!
Great facilities and very well thought out camp. Camp spots are spread out nicely so space between you + any neighbouring campers. Great fire pits at each spot. So nice to watch the stars by the fire! The bathrooms and bore water tap were a highlight. Lots of well thought out details in how the whole place is set up. Will definitely be back!
