1. STRICTLY No Caravans, RV's, Tents or Any Camping site is to be set up within 50 meters of the creek.
2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds treat it like you would a national park.
4. All waste must be bagged and taken off site with you. The rubbish bins in the street are not ours. They belong to the people that live in the valley. All rubbish must be taken home with you!

Located on the Mid North Coast NSW, 4kms off the Pacific Highway, and a quick 13/15-minute drive to the holiday township of Port Macquarie. Port Macquarie is known for its beautiful beaches, coastal scenery and walks, koala hospital, local strawberry and tomato picking, and 4WDing at nearby beaches and through Cairncross State Forest.
Bernard and Susan are custodians of the farm, primarily using the land for poultry (egg), pig, and goat farming. They are transitioning to an off-grid and eco-friendly lifestyle for their retirement.
The Hatch Farm is home to many animals, most of whom are rescues - including border collies, cavalier king charles spaniels, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep, goats, miniature horses, cows, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. There is plenty to do and see around the farm from complete relaxation, interacting with the friendly animals (there is usually a variety of babies to cuddle!), to casting a line or launching your boat from the rustic boat ramp. Please note that all animal interactions are self-led (including our animal nursery), and children must be supervised by their parents/carers. During NSW School Holidays, host led animal interactions will be available at designated times.

I have a small private property with grass campsites by a tidal outlet to Port Stephens harbour. We do not offer secluded camp sites away from other people on large acreage.
You can spend your days fishing, kayaking or enjoying Nelson Bay and surrounding areas and beaches which are only 15 minutes away. Guests have the use of a retreat shelter/fire place/BBQ area and wifi.
Campers must try to be self contained bringing their own water, toilet and shower. Sorry, no caravans over 20ft. Suite solo travellers, couples wanting a quiet weekend and LGBT friendly. We do have available tank, rain water for drinking, a toilet and hot shower, microwave and free wifi available for those who cannot be totally self contained. Yes there are mozzies because you are near water, so bring repellent.
Pets are welcome but must stay on a leash throughout your stay.
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
Please BYO firewood.
Fires are only permitted when there are no fire restrictions and in the designated fire pit and designated fire pit area for your own fire pit.

Binghi Station is designed for the 4x4 enthusiasts. In other words we strongly recommend access by 4WD only as the entry 6klm driveway is very rugged and bumpy in most places due to heavy rain fall past 12 months. Please ask for more details if necessary should you have any concerns based on your equipment. Its an ongoing maintenance. Its the 4x4 adventure. We would rather talk it down than up:-)
Currently we do not recommend SUV AWD type cars due to there lower profile and vulnerability to bumps and ruts. It is doable many do it all however about driver confidence and add another upto 2hours to trip :-) We recommend parking up the top driveway and having a preplanned lift down.
BE WARNED The driveway and some tracks are rough suited for 4x4 adventure enthusiasts that like to use there pride and joy offroad gear for what its intended.
ps One thing we can say you will never get bogged on our driveway no matter the rain fall as its very compacted despite its authentic rough character.
The Secret Gorge site is suited to tents, camper trailers and smaller length caravans. All our other site locations are suited to off-road 4WD caravans and camper trailers.

Louise was super lovely I turned up at like 8pm in winter so well after dark, fully expecting to be told that she didn’t have space but she was super helpful, and welcomed me anyway. She has a nice little field round the back of her home where you park up. She gave me a tour which included a picnic spot under cover with campfire, kettle and Microwave. As well as a toilet and hot shower. There was a plug in spot to if needed for laptops and such. Area was super quiet and just across the road there’s an awesome ray, reptile and shark rehab center where you can get up close and personal with the animals. Would definitely 100% recommend.

We had such a lovely stay at Secret Gorge with our dog, he absolutely loved playing in the water and exploring the area with us. During our stay we also visited Jump n Rocks and Sandy Falls, which were both beautiful and definitely worth seeing. The whole place felt so peaceful and majestic, with so many rock pools and little spots to explore. Even with lower water levels in some areas, the scenery was still stunning. We also had a lovely chat with the hosts, which made the experience even nicer.
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing nature getaway!

Beautiful fairly level camping spot among the gum trees, just a few minutes drive from lovely Scotts Head. Loved the luxury of a (semi open-air) hot shower, and a long drop toilet, there's a good camp kitchen and several campfire spots around the site. Quiet, good vibes.

Beautiful part of the world . The stars were amazing . We got to spread out in our own space by the fire and enjoyed the peace and beauty . Even had a fun visit from one of Trevor’s dogs !

Beautiful place to relax and unwind with the sound of the water stream nearby. The sites are so spread out and so much privacy, cows are so friendly. I have recommended this place to so many people now.

We had a really lovely one-night stay at Riverside Farm Stay. Jeff and Louise were so welcoming and made us feel right at home straight away.
We stayed with our three kids and it was such a great experience for them. They absolutely loved feeding the animals in the morning and haven’t stopped talking about it since.
The whole place has a really calm, relaxed feel and it was just nice to slow down and enjoy it as a family. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
We’d definitely come back again and would happily recommend it to other families.

Such a cute spot and not too far from the GC! It was quiet and serene. Despite quite a lot of people being there we felt secluded and our site still felt private.
Our host was lovely and came to check on us a few times. Would definitely camp again!
