You can spend your days fishing, kayaking or enjoying Nelson Bay and surrounding areas and beaches which are only 15 minutes away. Guests have the use of a retreat shelter/fire place/BBQ area and wifi.
Campers must try to be self contained bringing their own water, toilet and shower. Sorry, no caravans over 20ft. Suite solo travellers, couples wanting a quiet weekend and LGBT friendly. We do have available tank, rain water for drinking, a toilet and hot shower, microwave and free wifi available for those who cannot be totally self contained. Unfortunately, we have had some issues with local council, we ask that you follow these simple rules extremely closely failure to do may cause us to reject your booking and may incur penalties to both of us as the landholders and also the camper.
1. STRICTLY No Caravans, RV's, Tents or any camping site is to be set up within 50 meters of the creek.
2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time - we must know your exact numbers.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds, treat it like you would a National Park.
4. ALL WASTE must be bagged and taken off site with you. The rubbish bins in the street are not ours. They belong to the people that live in the valley. You must be prepared to take all rubbish home with you.

We are a working turf farm located just off the highway at Pottsville. It's an easy 9 minute drive to Pottsville Beach and we offer a flat patch of grassed land next to a dam with a maximum of 4 separate occupants (so it will never be crazy and over crowded like a caravan park).

Located on the Mid North Coast NSW, 4kms off the Pacific Highway, and a quick 13/15-minute drive to the holiday township of Port Macquarie. Port Macquarie is known for its beautiful beaches, coastal scenery and walks, koala hospital, local strawberry and tomato picking, and 4WDing at nearby beaches and through Cairncross State Forest.
Bernard and Susan are custodians of the farm, primarily using the land for poultry (egg), pig, and goat farming. They are transitioning to an off-grid and eco-friendly lifestyle for their retirement.
The Hatch Farm is home to many animals, most of whom are rescues - including border collies, cavalier king charles spaniels, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep, goats, miniature horses, cows, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. There is plenty to do and see around the farm from complete relaxation, interacting with the friendly animals (there is usually a variety of babies to cuddle!), to casting a line or launching your boat from the rustic boat ramp. Please note that all animal interactions are self-led (including our animal nursery), and children must be supervised by their parents/carers. During NSW School Holidays, host led animal interactions will be available at designated times.

Set on 4,000 acres of natural granite rock country and untouched overgrowth of lush tea tree bushlands, the sheer beauty of the land will, without a doubt, leave you breathless of its raw natural beauty.
Binghi Station surrendered to the ravaging bush fires of 2019, however, after this devastation came some much needed rainfall which brought hope; the creation of new life in the form of rich, vibrant green country not seen since the 1980’s.
You can explore endlessly on this raw outback property. Discover secret hideouts, come and enjoy a swim under our flowing waterfall (for those brave enough to during the winter months!) and simply relax and soak in pure wildlife beneath a million stars in the night sky.
Binghi Station is designed for the 4x4 enthusiasts. In other words we strongly recommend access by 4WD only as the entry 6klm driveway is very rugged and bumpy in most places due to heavy rain fall past 12 months. Please ask for more details if necessary should you have any concerns based on your equipment. Its an ongoing maintenance. Its the 4x4 adventure. We would rather talk it down than up:-)
Currently we do not recommend SUV AWD type cars due to there lower profile and vulnerability to bumps and ruts. It is doable many do it all however about driver confidence and add another upto 2hours to trip :-) We recommend parking up the top driveway and having a preplanned lift down.
BE WARNED The driveway and some tracks are rough suited for 4x4 adventure enthusiasts that like to use there pride and joy offroad gear for what its intended.
ps One thing we can say you will never get bogged on our driveway no matter the rain fall as its very compacted despite its authentic rough character.
The Secret Gorge site is suited to tents, camper trailers and smaller length caravans. All our other site locations are suited to off-road 4WD caravans and camper trailers.

Please be advised that it is approximately 45mins to an hour to the entrance of the access rd, from either Milton, the beginning of Wheelbarrow rd or Monkey Mountain rd. It is also roughly the same coming via Western Distributor from Kings Highway Once on these roads a vast part of your drive will be on dirt, and may be a little testing in wet weather, however you will discover some much natural beauty when you arrive at your destination
Please also note that there is no reception in this area, the closest place for phone reception is at Pigeon House Mountain. In the event of any emergency the caretaker does have STARLINK to assist with contacting medical authorities or family.

Such a beautiful weekend! The property is gorgeous. Best to drive in gate 127 and head over the little bridge. There are plenty of spots on the right after the bridge but we kept going round and through the next gate to the big wide open area. We saw the ridge and immediately wanted to be up there. We have a 18'6 van and a 4wd and we got up there no problems. There's plenty of space up there with 3 fireplaces spread wide apart. Opening the van door in the morning and lying in bed watching the cows down in the valley was bliss.
We spent one morning at Cabarita Beach with the dog watching the whales go by. Incredible weekend. Thankyou very much for having us.

Binghi Station is the most incredible station stay / campground we’ve ever been to. So tranquil and beautiful just you and nature. Adrian is a fantastic host he couldn’t do enough for our stay to be perfect. The bath tub experience is a must. Totally worth it. Our dogs loved being free to swim and sniff.
The 4x4 trail was scary and totally exhilarating. Loved it.
I can’t wait get back there.

Great spot. We stayed at a nice grassy camp next to a small creek. Clean and spacious and a nice bricked fire pit. Night sky is amazing there as well. Perfect for taking a telescope. The owner is extremely communicative which helpful when booking last minute.

Awesome spot to stay. The unpowered site we stayed at was a short walk from the water’s edge. Plenty of fire wood available to cut up and split, toilets and other camp areas were clean and well maintained.

We stayed at the Sandy Falls campsite and were blown away by the beauty and tranquility of this property. A pure joy to stay somewhere so quiet and serene. You could almost hear the ants walking in the ground! Hosts Adrian and Oratai were so friendly and welcoming we felt instantly at home. Access to the property is definitely a 4WD requirement so a little experience and knowledge is helpful. This stay has been the highlight of our 4 week camping adventure and we were reluctant to leave. Truly a unique and valued experience. Thanks Adrian and Oratai, Chelsea & Candy and of course Cookie Minster, Midnight and Cloudy.

Such a beautiful, simple bush camp! We loved how peaceful and uncomplicated it was, with the bonus of a hot shower and toilet, and the very friendly doggos who’d love playing fetch! We were lucky enough to have such a clear night sitting around the fire under the stars! Will for sure stop back here when visiting next.
