We have 80 acres of farm, approximately 15 minutes from town. Our campsites are located in a paddock on our farm, perfect for off grid self contained campers. Access to campsites is Via Brown Road, not Caroline Road. Please see directions once booking is made.
We are not far from The Blue Lake, The little blue is also close by, and is perfect for swimming in summer. The Umpherston Caves is literally just down the road, and is wonderful for a picnic, or on dusk feeding the possums.
Sites are approx 20m x 20m, lined with trees, perfect for pitching a tent, parking a van, camper trailer, RV, or even a bus! You can even bring your boat!
We are only 25 minutes away from Port MacDonnell, put your boat in, go fishing or just enjoy the beach.
One van/tent per site (unless negotiated prior). Our sites are all located in a back paddock, it's quiet and peaceful. We have sites available to cater for RVs, vans and tents.
Must be self-contained (no facilities provided, must dispose of waste at approved dumpsites in town), take your rubbish with you; dogs are welcome if they are friendly and well behaved.

Camp Coodlie is ideally located for exploring the natural beauty of the Eyre Peninsula. We’re just a short drive from the stunning Talia Caves, The Tub, and Talia Beach, known for the Great Australian Bight cliffs and geological formations. Also nearby are Venus Bay and Port Kenny, where you can fish, swim, or launch your boat. Mount Camel Beach and Lake Newland Conservation Park offer more opportunities for beachcombing, photography and wildlife encounters.
We are proudly TICSA Sustainable Tourism and Eco-Star Accredited, and our facilities reflect this commitment. Amenities include composting toilets, bucket-style hot water bush showers, and a solar-powered camp kitchen with a 6-burner cooktop, grillers, and a hot water sink. The kitchen seats up to 80 people. A communal fire pit is available when permitted. Recycling and compost bins are also provided.

Situated on 100 acres 5km north of Robe town, and a very very short drive (or 2km walk) to beautiful Long Beach, the Robe Camel Farm is in the perfect location.
Camper trailers, rooftop tents, and small campervans are suited to the Shady 1 and Shady 2 sites. These two sites are nestled amongst beautiful gums. Caravans and large motorhomes are suited to The Paddock site. The Paddock is an open site near the tourist shop. Perfect for larger set ups and great for solar.
You are free to watch the camels in the paddock from behind the fenceline. If you are after a more up and personal experience with the beautiful beasts, you can book a Morning Milking Tour or a Camel Safari in our electric buggy. Book these experiences on the website www.humpalicious.com.au.
Robe Camel Farm is a very relaxed environment. We will be carrying on daily jobs such as camel feeding, building, training etc. Guests are welcome to participate in daily farm life if they choose to!

Welcome to Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, a privately-owned conservancy focused on providing habitat for native animals to live in the wild. Since 1997 the Sanctuary has worked to conserve and protect the natural resources within its boundaries, especially the native Australian flora and fauna.
We have a BEACH camp site available that offer spectacular ocean views of the wild south coast. Campers will have access to a pit toilet during their stay. There is a 2 night maximum stay.
You will find plenty of sightseeing opportunities and interesting places to visit within easy reach of Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. Although much of the western end of Kangaroo Island was severely impacted by the January 2020 bushfires, the uniquely Australian story of rebirth and regeneration after fire is compelling.
Much of the western end of Kangaroo Island is covered in parks and reserves and it is often referred to as the natural end of the Island. You will find large areas of pristine natural bushland, numerous native wildlife, spectacular, rugged coastal cliffs and beautiful seascapes and beaches. Throughout the wilderness areas you will also discover old buildings and ruins which have been preserved because of their historical role in the development of the island. A brief history of Ballara...Ballara is the 100-year-old family home built for William and Emilia (Millie) Baker & their five children. Built in 1910, it is understood Millie would not come to Warooka until the house was finished and furnished! Wise woman!William Baker came to Warooka as a young boy in 1884 with his mother, sister and 2 brothers, after the sudden death of his father.In the early 1900s, Will and his brother Alf became storekeepers, trading as Baker Bros. and running 2 stores in Warooka. Will, Alf and younger brother, Tom, also went on to become farmers.William met Millie when she came from Ballarat to visit her sister who lived at Warooka. Millie named her new home 'Ballara' in memory of her home town.A feature of the house is its ornate ceilings, and story has it that visitors came from afar especially to view them.William ran a wheat agency from an office on the front verandah and was also a contact for World War 1 recruitment.In 1927, William sadly died at only 50 years of age, leaving Millie on her own with their 5 children Doreen, Dulcie, William jr. (Bill), Ron, and Betsy.Millie died in 1965 and Ron continued living at Ballara until his death in 1988.Having never married and with no children of his own, Ron left the house and contents to his 10 nieces and nephews.After the family furniture was divided, Bill bought the house and placed it in the names of his three daughters.Carli and Penny were both able to enjoy some time living in the family home. Ballara still remains in the Baker family and is currently being cared for by Bill’s youngest daughter, Steph.

What a fantastic location with a stunning view of the bay. 5 sites spread out for maximum privacy.
Great to see recycling bins. Fire pits provided and great communication with owners. We will be back in summer!

We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the peaceful, private atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind for a few days.
The beach was beautiful, with very calm water during our stay. It was only a 2min walk away which was a real bonus. We also used the fire pit in the evenings which was really lovely.
The public bathrooms are a bit of a walk from the site, but as we were self-contained, it wasn’t a big issue for us. The local shop was also only 2min walk away and had great hot chips.
Overall, a great place to stay and we’d happily come back again.

Tiatukia Farm Campsite by the Sea was perfect for what we needed. The views were incredible and the peace and quiet was lovely. We were the only campers there but the sites are limited and well spaced so everyone has privacy as well as a great outlook.

Had a great stay at Cooinda Retreats. The accommodation was clean, the grounds were beautiful, and it was so quiet and relaxing.
Perfect place to unwind and get away from the noise. Would stay again.

Great country spot close to the main town. Plenty of space so you dont feel like your in other peoples pockets. Lots of wildlife getting around. Only issue we had is the weather turned wet and the grass was a bit long for my little dog so he got a wet belly when he left the van. Love that it's pet friendly. Thank you.

Weekend Trip to Beachport Caravan Park
What a fantastic location with such a nicely made tent. It’s perfect size for a couple to use. Also nicely organised and presented interior. Essential appliance was available to use inside the tent. Recommend to anyone wishing to visit The Beachport. Definitely come again later :).

We had a great time there. Peaceful and the hay bales were a playground for kids. Also was lucky to feed some goats and see the birds. Great host with great directions to the property. Highly recommend.

We loved the serenity at Tom’s camp. It was easy to find and set up. The land and seascape were vast and lovely. We walked along the beach, probably not great for swimming as there is a lot of sea grass but a pleasant and peaceful place to wander.
