Situated on 100 acres 5km north of Robe town, and a very very short drive (or 2km walk) to beautiful Long Beach, the Robe Camel Farm is in the perfect location.
Camper trailers, rooftop tents, and small campervans are suited to the Shady 1 and Shady 2 sites. These two sites are nestled amongst beautiful gums. Caravans and large motorhomes are suited to The Paddock site. The Paddock is an open site near the tourist shop. Perfect for larger set ups and great for solar.
You are free to watch the camels in the paddock from behind the fenceline. If you are after a more up and personal experience with the beautiful beasts, you can book a Morning Milking Tour or a Camel Safari in our electric buggy. Book these experiences on the website www.humpalicious.com.au.
Robe Camel Farm is a very relaxed environment. We will be carrying on daily jobs such as camel feeding, building, training etc. Guests are welcome to participate in daily farm life if they choose to!
Note, we do keep beehives on the property, so if you are badly allergic to bees, please come prepared. Dog friendly but must be well controlled. Campfires not permitted.

We are a small vineyard, winery and cellar door set on 45 acres of land. It's mostly pasture with 7 acres of vineyard. Guests are welcome to park during the week in the cellar door carpark. On weekends we have a grassed strip, 8 metres wide, between a vineyard block and a windbreak. Which overlooks the valley behind and distant hills to the front. Being self contained is essential. Our toilets are only accessible when the cellar door is open. On weekends guests are welcome to come for dinner on Friday or for lunch on Saturday or Sunday, and then stay overnight, so they can enjoy a few drinks without worrying about driving home!

We loved this bush space in a quiet spot just outside of Robe. There were a few others in the the other site, but the spaces feel private and spacious enough for our large van. We also bought a few things from the camel farm. Good stay. Enjoyed it!

It’s a great spot to stop over for a night. The cooler spot by the river was canopied by gumtrees so I felt it wasn’t a safe option to camp beneath them. There was a flat area up from the site, along with a compost toilet, which I used. Some prickles in the grassed areas so take care if you have kids/pets. The site is viewable to the nearby road. Whilst traffic wasn’t an issue this did remove some security comfort for me being a solo traveller.

We loved staying at Cape Jaffa Holiday Park. Rebecca and Mark are lovely, attentive, helpful people. The site has everything you need in terms of structure and then they also have this lovely shop with real life savers without a trip to the closest grocery shop. The camping site was clean and well kept. Whenever we decide to do the Limestone Coast again, that's where we'll stay, no questions asked.

We absolutely loved our stay here. James and Annabelle are both delightful, the views are amazing and the site is private. When you stay, be sure to visit the Tilbrook Estate Cellar Door - both the food and the wines are sensational. Try the Reserve Shiraz if you enjoy red! The local village of Lobethal was great (good coffee; brewery etc) and a short drive to other beautiful spots.

I had the best quick night away in Gurra Gurra! The site was peaceful, well shaded in the heat and secluded from other campers. My Jimny parked up right by the river where my dog and I spent the afternoon soaking in the river breeze! An amazing stay and a great host.

We recently stayed at Tilbrook Estate Vineyard. While the campground could have used a bit of a mow, the beautiful views from the campsite made up for it. Annabelle’s warm and welcoming manner set the tone for a lovely visit, and our meal at Pica Pica restaurant was an absolute highlight — incredible food paired with a delicious sangria that quickly became a favourite. Overall, the stunning setting, friendly hospitality, and fabulous dining made our stay truly worthwhile. 🍷✨

Due to wind we swapped our stay at Paddock 2 to Shady 2.
The spot was private and sheltered from the wind.
We also decided to take a tour of the farm, meet the camels and sample some camel milk and ice cream.
It was lovely to meet Tara who was very friendly and gave a very interesting tour. We felt very welcomed on the property and were able to take an evening walk and have another look at the camels.
Perfect for an off-road self-contained trip.

Amazing views and a great location only 5 minutes from Berri- but still a feeling of isolation. Heaps of wildlife- birds, lizards, fish and occasional visit from the very cute campsite mascot Willow (the dog!). Highly recommended and looking forward to visiting again one day.
