Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We have 80 acres of farm, approximately 15 minutes from town. Our campsites are located in a paddock on our farm, perfect for off grid self contained campers. Access to campsites is Via Brown Road, not Caroline Road. Please see directions once booking is made. We are not far from The Blue Lake, The little blue is also close by, and is perfect for swimming in summer. The Umpherston Caves is literally just down the road, and is wonderful for a picnic, or on dusk feeding the possums. Sites are approx 20m x 20m, lined with trees, perfect for pitching a tent, parking a van, camper trailer, RV, or even a bus! You can even bring your boat! We are only 25 minutes away from Port MacDonnell, put your boat in, go fishing or just enjoy the beach. One van/tent per site (unless negotiated prior). Our sites are all located in a back paddock, it's quiet and peaceful. We have sites available to cater for RVs, vans and tents. Must be self-contained (no facilities provided, must dispose of waste at approved dumpsites in town), take your rubbish with you; dogs are welcome if they are friendly and well behaved.

Blue Pine Ridge
I have camped in quite a few paddocks on this trip, and this is a beauty! There are about 8 large site separated by hay bales and marked by colours. On one side are a stand of trees that give you a bit of a wind break or shade, and the other side is open but perfectly fine. The tree lined sites colours are blue, green, purple and white. I tell you this because I like to have trees near me, even just for atmosphere, let alone shade or shelter. So, thought some of you might, too! The owner was very accommodating, and also invited all campers up to feed the young goats. The paddock was well maintained and a great, affordable stop over for a self contained vehicle. Highly recommend.

The paddock is well set up with hay bales designating each camp site which are super roomy. It was a quiet and peaceful place to stay. And only a short drive to Mount Gambier.

We loved it! Nice big space with our own fire pit. Really close to town and all the sights. Scenery was stunning, so were the sunrises and sunsets! Communication from the host was very quick. The listing is exactly as described :)

We really enjoyed camping at Pine Ridge. The sites were huge, we felt very safe, short drive to town & attractions. Great base for anyone visiting Mount Gambier.

Open and spacious paddock. Country feel, quiet and fine for a couple of days stay. Close to town with plenty of food options and places to explore. Shade on one side of the paddock only and ground not level at top corner (coo paddock). Recommend a spot along the fence if you want shade and a more level pitch. Kids had a great time playing on hey bails and riding bikes around. Highland was gorgeous looking but not very pleasant, poor thing probably over all the attention, so give it space.

Blue Pine Ridge
I loved the camping at Pine Ridge. First of all, I would like to complement Natasha for her amazing communication and flexibility with check in. Amazing!!!! Secondly, receiving all email with directions to find the place. It makes sense and so easy to navigate. Camping sites are very clearly coloured according which one you booked. Fantastic idea to separate them using round hay bales which at the same time gave us a bit of privacy. Far enough from busy roads and quiet enough to enjoy birds, cows and nature. Very close distance to Mount Gambier, just around 8 minutes drive and all attractions are on the front of you. If I will be back in Mount gambier, definitely I will get in touch with Natasha again. 10/10.

Great little spot for our first ever hipcamp! Kids named the Highland cow Jeff and found him quite friendly. Lovely large open space and hay bales to climb and ride bikes around for kids, I'd just suggest you double check the COLOUR SITE you choose because this is the booking system! We seen a few people park and set up to then need to move (we arrived and had someone in our site too) some campers said they only seen a site number on their booking.... I can assure you the sites are set by COLOUR not numbers and it's clearly labelled on the booking and on the poles at each site - orange post are behind the fallen tree which can be used for fire wood.

We loved our time at Pine Ridge. The owners were so lovely and the additional and effort to experience feeding animals was wonderful for the kids. The sites were huge and the added hay bales in the paddock were an additional bonus for the kids to climb and explore, as well as adding some privacy. We highly recommend.

Green Pine Ridge
We had an amazing stay at Pine Ridge. We were only meant to stay for a night but decided to book another one. Were able to leave the van and go explore Mount Gambier and all its beauty. Owners were so friendly, they invited us up to meet and feed there miniature goats and we also got to see their incredible collection of birds 😍 and not to forget the haybales that kept the kids entertained for hours. Would highly recommend and will definitely come back if ever in the area again.

Red Pine Ridge
We enjoyed our stay at Pine Ridge. There were a couple of caravans parked in the paddock when we arrived but the sites are quite spaced apart so we couldn't hear any noise. The kids liked saying hello to the Scottish cow in the next paddock. Our site was level and we could drive straight in.
