A serene and breathtaking property surrounded by nature. The perfect place to relax and unwind away from the stress of modern day life. Fartch Road branches off the main road, giving a sence of seclusion and escape as the road turns into a grassed laneway, running along side a nature reserve. Black cockatoos and a wide variety of bird species, kangaroos, wallabys, rabbits, ring tail possums, wombats, sugar gliders take up residence amongst the cypress and gum trees surrounding this property. Favourite time of the day is hearing the resident kookaburra's laughing. Bella Mia is one of only 2 properties on fartch road. You can walk amongst the cool quiet forests uncovering its secrets, gaze at the star filled sky at night and awaken to the soothing sounds of the resident bird choir. Meet our 2 pet sheep who love a gentles scratch on the head. Owner of the property Nick is a pilot living in Europe, the property is managed by Kath a very experience holiday accommodation manager who knows what it takes to satisfy a range of guests needs and privacy. Kath lives on property so never far away if need her for anything. The main house on property is listed as a popular holiday accommodation house, sleeping 6 guests. We also have a glamping tent on property for seperate hire to the house. Our Camp site area for fully self sufficient campers is available in the paddoch area away from the main house block. We aim to ensure the privavy of the house guests by not entering the house block. Campers have access to a rain water tank for drinking water however no hook ups. 15 mins from Mount Gambier and the home of the famous Blue Lake. Explore the many sink holes that are close to the property. 1 hour drive from the ever popular Coonawarra Wine Region and beaches are all within 30 - 45 min away. Enjoy star filled nights, stunning sunsets and sunrises and breathing in the fresh air surrounding Bella Mia.

Pine laneway campsite 1 is a corner space bordered by pine forest and a forest reserve. A flat grassy area lined with flowering yellow wattle trees with a view across the farm. Guests will enjoy the peacefulness and serenity of Bella Mia but please note there may be other guests 40 meters away. . As the sun rises the bird Orchestra begins, no better way to start the day. Walk through the pine forest and uncover its many secrets. Gaze at the star filled sky. There are no bathroom amenities here, Guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace. There are no hookups at this site, but potable water is available. The house on this property is also used for holiday accommodation. The serenity of Bella Mia is mesmerising, you wont want to leave.

Pine laneway campsite 2 is next to the entry gate and bordered by pine forest. A flat grassy area lined with flowering yellow wattle trees with a view across the property. Guests will enjoy the peacefulness and serenity of Bella Mia but please note there may be other guests 30 meters away if wanting total seclusion please let us know and we will try and accommodate you. I had a wonderful experience at this Hipcamp spot, nestled near a beautiful pine forest close to Mount Gambier. The location was incredibly accessible, and the property itself was fantastic. The host was welcoming, and everything was well-maintained, making it a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway.
