The Scrub Campsite located in remnant vegetation (14 minutes from Victor Harbor ) is a rustic self check in campsite as the owner does not reside near the campsite.
The Scrub Campsite has evolved to offer adults-only camping experience. In response to strong demand for child-free accommodation, the campsite now operates exclusively as an 18+ campsite ideal for couples, solo travellers, and small groups seeking a tranquil and relaxing environment.
Campers choose their site in the designated camp spots. Sites are not allocated unless by prior arrangement.
A communal camp kitchen, water tanks and compost toilet is available for campers use. You can connect your gas bottle to a Kick Ass hot water shower. Fire pits are located at each site. Campers will be advised of fire bans by signage on the front gate. Campers are not permitted on high fire danger days.
Wood can be purchased from the self service white ibc container for $20 for a wheel barrow load.
Please adhere to the camp rules which are posted at each campsite.
The campsite is located on the Heysen Trail and close to many Lower Fleurieu Peninsula beaches and attractions. The popular Belicious Cafe is a 50 minute walk.
Whole campsite bookings for larger groups can be made by contacting the owner..
We ask that campers respect all other campers, the land that they are camping on and follow the campers motto - Leave nothing but your footprints.

We have 80 acres of farm, approximately 15 minutes from town. Our campsites are located in a paddock on our farm, perfect for off grid self contained campers. Access to campsites is Via Brown Road, not Caroline Road. Please see directions once booking is made.
We are not far from The Blue Lake, The little blue is also close by, and is perfect for swimming in summer. The Umpherston Caves is literally just down the road, and is wonderful for a picnic, or on dusk feeding the possums.
Sites are approx 20m x 20m, lined with trees, perfect for pitching a tent, parking a van, camper trailer, RV, or even a bus! You can even bring your boat!
We are only 25 minutes away from Port MacDonnell, put your boat in, go fishing or just enjoy the beach.
One van/tent per site (unless negotiated prior). Our sites are all located in a back paddock, it's quiet and peaceful. We have sites available to cater for RVs, vans and tents.
Must be self-contained (no facilities provided, must dispose of waste at approved dumpsites in town), take your rubbish with you; dogs are welcome if they are friendly and well behaved.

Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail.
The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy!
There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes.
Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh.
There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock
and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet.

Situated on 100 acres 5km north of Robe town, and a very very short drive (or 2km walk) to beautiful Long Beach, the Robe Camel Farm is in the perfect location.
Camper trailers, rooftop tents, and small campervans are suited to the Shady 1 and Shady 2 sites. These two sites are nestled amongst beautiful gums. Caravans and large motorhomes are suited to The Paddock site. The Paddock is an open site near the tourist shop. Perfect for larger set ups and great for solar.
You are free to watch the camels in the paddock from behind the fenceline. If you are after a more up and personal experience with the beautiful beasts, you can book a Morning Milking Tour or a Camel Safari in our electric buggy. Book these experiences on the website www.humpalicious.com.au.
Robe Camel Farm is a very relaxed environment. We will be carrying on daily jobs such as camel feeding, building, training etc. Guests are welcome to participate in daily farm life if they choose to!

Welcome to your dream destination!!
We have two different locations available in Kangaroo Island with some options of sites in each.
FIRST LOCATION:
EMU BAY HIDEAWAY-30 hectares of peace, mainly vegetated with Kangaroo Island Narrow-leaved Mallee (Eucalyptus cneorifolia, a nationally-protected ecological community). Kangaroos and wallabies are in abundance. It has a wonderful feeling of remoteness and seclusion yet is so close to iconic Emu Bay.
Those with 4WD may choose sites overlooking Shoal Bay towards Kingscote.
Alternatively, you may set up camp anywhere on the property. There is even one under-cover position with a concrete floor for those concerned about the weather.
There are no amenities so guests need to be 100% self-sufficient (including BYO drinking water and toilet) and leave no trace. It is a wild block and only five minutes from the iconic Emu Bay, where the white sandy beach runs for 4kms, most of which is backed by 10 to 20-meter-high dunes. It is one of the best beaches on the island with crystal-clear water.
SECOND LOCATION:
Farm Stay about 15 km from Emu Bay and 20km from the main town of Kingscote. This is an operating small sheep farm of over 100ha. For security reasons the exact location is not advertised, but will be disclosed upon arrival on Kangaroo Island.
There are several beautiful sites. This location is fairly central to most KI visitor attractions. It is a secure place to set up camp and have peace of mind that your belongings will be safe while you are away from the site. The host takes care to situate sites to give campers the feeling of exclusiveness.
NOTES;
Check with me before lighting a campfire - this depends on the season and risk. Dogs are permitted if well controlled (register visiting dogs with local council).

The main house on property is listed as a popular holiday accommodation house, sleeping 6 guests. We also have a glamping tent on property for seperate hire to the house.
Our Camp site area for fully self sufficient campers is available in the paddoch area away from the main house block. We aim to ensure the privavy of the house guests by not entering the house block.
Campers have access to a rain water tank for drinking water however no hook ups.
15 mins from Mount Gambier and the home of the famous Blue Lake. Explore the many sink holes that are close to the property. 1 hour drive from the ever popular Coonawarra Wine Region and beaches are all within 30 - 45 min away.
The paddoch grass is cut short so perfect place to set up a cricket match, hit some golf balls around or kick a football.
Perfect place for horse riding if you have portable fencing welcome to bring your horse and explore the many forest tracks.

Spectacular views on every direction. Great find. Very cool to have sheep wandering through. Longdrop was close and clean.
Perfect for one or two tents or trailers.
Peter and Trish were great hosts, friendly and helpful. Good communication prior to arrival and checked in with us during the stay.
We had a peaceful time at edgehill and being so close to Adelaide, we will be back soon.

Lovely walks around the land. Good size camp sites. Great drop toilets. Unfortunately the day we were there was quite windy and cloudy so we didn’t see any of the stars but I’ll be back to hopefully catch them next time.
It was my first camp with my dog, he loved it and al the smalls and scent tracking kangaroos made for one tired pup!

We loved Wattle Ridge Bush Camp. Instead of filling our days with sightseeing and driving we were able to truly stop and enjoy what nature had to offer. The views down through the valley were spectacular as were the sun and full moon rises. It was easy to relax and listen to sounds of abundant birdlife and sheep.
The camp kitchen, with running water and 12v lighting, was a great place to shelter from the wind and prepare meals. The fire pit and provided wood were much appreciated.
Ben was a great communicator and accomodating host. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Scrub Campsite! The site was incredibly private and peaceful, making it the perfect spot to switch off, relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Finding the campsite was straightforward, and setting up was easy, with plenty of space to get ourselves organised. The views were fantastic, and the facilities were excellent, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
If you're looking for a quiet, secluded camping spot with beautiful scenery and great facilities, The Scrub is definitely worth a visit. We'd happily stay again!

Had kangaroos and Rosella's hang out for a while.

We had a lovely stay at Pine Ridge Hipcamp and can't recommend it highly enough.
The site was clean and freshly mowed, and setting up the caravan was easy. There was plenty of firewood, so we had a fire each evening, which was a highlight of the trip.
The owners were very friendly and easy to talk to from start to finish. Their directions to the park were clear, so we found it without any trouble. They made us feel welcome straight away and even invited us to meet and feed their miniature goats. It was a lovely experience and a real personal touch.
The park is close to Mt Gambier, so it's an easy drive to all the local sights. It is also very quiet. The only sounds we heard were the birds and the local animals, which made it a relaxing place to unwind at the end of each day.
If you're looking for a clean, quiet and welcoming place to stay near Mt Gambier, we would definitely recommend this park. We hope to come back soon!
