There are showers, toilets, a free BBQ in the community park , mobile phone coverage and potable water available We are the closest campground to the new Nilpena Ediacara National Park. Please do not go down the 4WD only road to Beltana, proceed to the bitumen Road and follow the signs.
Beltana is a State Heritage listed town in Adnyamathanha country. Beltana
is important as it is the home of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, was influential in the establishment of the Overland Telegraph and was important is the states early settlement. Beltana has survived in spite of the challenges
and has an excellent walking trail detailing this history for visitors.
There is capacity to have a fire in a communal fire pit, but please bring your own wood. Dogs on leashes welcome.
This campsite offers a safe and comfortable place for campers who are travelling through on their holiday and need somewhere to stop overnight, but two nights is recommended to give you a chance to visit this historic town.
The town is significant is South Australian history and there is interpretative signage that provides the visitor with an informative trail.
Whilst with us visit the new Nilpena Ediacara National Park. We have the closest camping facilities.

Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail.
The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy!
There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes.
Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh.
There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock
and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet.
Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. Emporium cafe for the best coffee in Riverton

Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer
Ranges and is
on the Bremer River in Rockleigh.
This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area.
We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums-
surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated
further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and
requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags.
The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully.
We are 45 minute drive
from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region.
We are only 30 minutes drive from
Monarto Conservation Park
which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals.

Burra Creek Camping in Bright is an incredibly beautiful, rustic 5000-acre property, situated 25km North of Robertstown, just over 2 hours from Adelaide.
It's suited to those with 4x4 or higher clearance vehicles, and off-road campers/caravans and tents. The camping sites here are very private, and provide large flat areas to set up. All have beautiful surroundings and views.
The land here is spectacular. From morning light accompanied by birdsong, to days spent exploring the creek and the bush, to stargazing and toasting marshmallows by night, the land here offers the perfect antidote to modern-day stresses. There is (wonderfully) limited phone service here, meaning it's the perfect place for a digital detox!
Two of our campsites have very basic outback long drop toilets (Wombat Flat and Creek Site), but for all other sites, campers need to be fully self-contained. It's you and nature. Therefore we ask that you please ensure the place is left as or better than you found it. All rubbish and waste to be taken with you.

Obviously vehicles lengths vary. Vans larger than 18ft will need experienced drivers who have towed in tighter locations and know how the wheels track behind the tow vehicle. Larger vans will need to take care. Under 18ft vans will easily fit, but care also needed.
Family hobby farm on six green acres in the historical town of Clarendon (Toondilla), just half an hour south of Adelaide. Set in a gully with a winter creek (Willow Creek) running through (dry in warmer months). Conveniently located within walking distance to the main street of Clarendon - five minutes to the Bakery and 10 minutes to the Royal Oak Hotel and General Store!
The property offers the best views of Clarendon via a short walk to the top paddock. There is a limit of 2 private, protected campsites near the creek, each well-maintained and level, with scattered gum trees that provide lovely shade in the morning and afternoon.
Camp Toondilla is set up for self-contained campers who bring their own camp toilet and take all waste with them when they go. Well-behaved pets are welcome.

Pindari Park is a beautiful 130 acre CLIFF TOP property that offers both North and South views of the River Murray. Situated on the western bank (cliff side) overlooking the most Northerly point of the river and the township of Cadell SA.
Our property does have a rocky underlay, due to the cliff, recommended that drill tent pegs are used.
ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY.
Pindari means “From the high ground” from the aboriginal origin and was originally apart of the Nor’ West Bend Station (est. 1850) that stretched from Overland Corner to Burra. The Nor’ West Bend Station next door is now a heritage listed private residence.
With Pindari Park’s scattered native trees, saltbush and mallee shrubs bringing an abundance of wildlife to the property, sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity.
While you sit at the camps sites, enjoy watching the Cadell Ferry, appreciate birds and wildlife, or just enjoy the river boats on their journey up or down our mighty River Murray. You just might be able to catch one of the cruise boats or paddle steamers cruise past, make sure you give them a wave as they pass by.
Pindari Park has many gravel roads and tracks to follow for taking a hike/walk, however, please note that this property is on a cliff, therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times.
Each campsite has a fire pit area that can be used during May to October each year (fire ban period is November to April each year). ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY.
Take a drive into to Morgan (9 kms) and visit the Old Wharf Port and the Landseers Museum or catch the Cadell Ferry and head across the river to visit the Spook Hill Winery or to use the local boat ramp.

Bush walking in the Spring Gully National Park is just down the road and within 2klms is the Armagh to Spring Gully trail.
Our neighbours include the fabulous Eldridge Wines, one of Clare Valleys best. Close by are many more fabulous wineries and one of the best Gin Distillers (in our opinion) in the Mid North, Sawmill Gin. The local taxi service is very accommodating and happy to come out to Seven Sisters, they will also ferry you to wineries in the area.

Take a stroll along the river, looking for canoe trees. First Nations people of the lower Murray River formerly made large canoes from the bark of Red Gum trees. They used canoes to transport goods and move long distances along the river system.
The Marne River in southeast South Australia starts below Eden Valley at an elevation of 366m and ends at an elevation of 5.06m flowing into the River Murray.
The Marne River drops around 361m over its 69.5km length.

History of Eden Valley
The land of the Ngadjuri People, Traditional Owners of the Eden Valley region.
South Australia’s beautiful Eden Valley, known as the garden of grapes and gums, is one of Australia’s premier cool climate wine regions characterised by its rugged beauty and varied topography.
Eden Valley was named by the surveyors of the area after they found the word "Eden" carved into a tree. The beautiful rolling hills of the region create a natural diversity in mesoclimate determined by altitude, aspect and slope, which also naturally impacts the soil type. It is therefore critical to match the correct grape variety and site. Overall, the region is characterised by cooler conditions than its famous neighbour, the Barossa Valley, and as such the final stages of ripening and harvesting take place in cooler temperatures.
Eden Valley wines are distinctive in their character, displaying wonderful aromatics, elegance, complexity and finesse.
Eden Valley shares a proud German heritage with it's neighbour the Barossa Valley, collectively known as the Barossa region. English and German immigrants settled here in the early to mid-19th century, establishing the township in the 1860s.

Welcome to our home Tanah Merdeka! Enjoy a private and picturesque camp-site by the creek with views of rolling hills, rocky outcrops and ancient gumtrees. Watch the Kangaroos and the birdlife, see if you can spot a yabbee or frog in the creek and sit back and unwind.
Tanah Merdeka is a 184 acre cattle farm currently stocked with Black Baldies, Speckle Park, Angus and Hereford.
The creek line paddocks are dedicated to Hipcampers, so you can be assured your campsite won't be interrupted by curious cows during your stay. We can't say the same for the wild kangaroos that call Tanah Merdeka home though.
Please be respectful of the working nature of the property and shut any gates you go through except for the automatic gates. Please respect our privacy and don't venture up the driveway towards the house.
You are welcome to walk through and explore the paddocks containing the creek line. Do not drive across the creek - walking and bicycles only.
Please do not feed the wildlife or the cattle and practice leave no trace camping. For stays longer than one night campers must bring a portable chemical toilet. Use only the firepit provided and comply with current fire danger restrictions. Some firewood may be available next to the firepit but please bring your own firewood if intending to have a fire as this can't be guaranteed.
Dogs are allowed off lead within the fenced camping paddock but be aware of grass seeds.

Nestled between the Adelaide Hills and the Barossa Valley, Humble Farm offers a picturesque country setting where you can pull up your caravan or pitch your tent. Set on 100 acres of open rolling hills with pockets of ancient gums and rocky outcrops, the property is alive with wildlife — think kangaroos, eagles, echidnas, hares, frogs, and butterflies.
Camp alongside Saunders Creek (which flows in winter), in the shadow of historic ruins, and across from Humble Farm’s newly established orchard. Enjoy a large fire pit during the cooler months (strictly April to October).
Humble Farm lies within an International Dark Sky Reserve, treating guests to some of the clearest views of the night sky and its constellations. Young children can enjoy the playground — complete with a sandpit and water pump, cubby house, swings, and monkey bars — just a short walk up the hill from the campsite.
The main residence is over the hill on the opposite side of the property, ensuring privacy. Only one site is offered per night to maintain peace and serenity (if you’re traveling with others, enquire about multiple sites at a discounted rate). There is no toilet or shower block — public toilets are a 10-minute drive away if you don’t have your own setup. No potable water is available. As this is a working farm, dogs are welcome but must remain on a long lead. No motorbikes, please.
Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Mount Pleasant (home of the Mount Pleasant Farmers’ Market) and 10 minutes from Springton (home of the historic Herbig Family Tree), Humble Farm is an ideal base for exploring.
Spend an afternoon in the cafés of Lobethal or Woodside, sample the best of the Barossa high country at its many cellar doors, or venture to the Riverland — all within a 25-minute drive. If it’s tranquility you seek, set out on foot along the nearby Lavender Federation Trail or explore the backroads by bike and connect with the Kidman Trail.

We loved our stay at Tana Merdeka. Thomas was a great host. The location was great. Close to Mt Pleasant, Birdwood and the Mannum Waterfalls. We camped by the little creek, surrounded by the soothing sound of the frogs and were visited by Kangaroos, rabbits and a fox. We also loved having the site to ourselves. We will definitely book again.

Sam and his family were incredible hosts. The space was lovely and well maintained, Sam checked in with us a couple of times to make sure we were all situated. Some friends of ours went and fed the animals with their kids and said it was a great experience.

A nice level spot close to the very clean amenities and communal space and fire pit . A good size space with plenty of room for our long wheel based van even with the awning out. 1 minute walk to the Beautifully restored pub. The shower was a highlight.

It’s a beautiful spot. Rolling hills, cliff face, beautiful creek/stream and not too far from Adelaide!
The compost toilet was very good (super clean and not smelly at all!!) and had a sensor light for night time visits.
Plenty of spots for camp fires and dogs allowed! It was excellent.

Great spot.
Large, flat, grassy space with a fire pit.
Far enough from the main road to be super quiet, but close enough to be convenient.
The site is visible from the dirt road but we only saw about three cars and a motorbike all weekend.
Thomas’s directions are clear and it was easy to find - even in thick fog (Google maps might suggest turning into the paddock early… you can’t. But don’t worry. The real entrance is just a few hundred metres further on)
The site has very lush grass, so if it’s been wet or is going to be dewy, rubber boots would be handy.
Very peaceful and relaxing, yet still close to Mt Pleasant and surrounds. A great base to explore a beautiful part of the country.

The Laneway is a fantastic campsite, with plenty of flat areas to setup your tents, surrounded by big beautiful trees and abundant bird life.
This is by far our favourite Hipcamp to date, from the amenities on offer (good sized fire pit, toilets, and non-potable water), the very generous gift basket of fresh eggs, biscuits, chocolates and other lollies on arrival, and the friendly hosts, Sam and Chris.
They're great, respectful of privacy, and genuinely enjoyed sharing all their rescue animals with us when we asked.
We got to feed, brush and and even got hugs from their extremely friendly camels, as well as interactions with llamas, pigs, alpacas, horses, cows, chickens and more!
We'll definitely be back to soon with more of our friends and family!

Gorgeous views with very well spaced sites so you really do have your own space! Toilets are close by and well maintained. Farm dog is super friendly and loves a stick thrown! Good chance you'll have kangaroos come through in the evenings 🏕️

We had a great weekend. Rob is a great host and is very quick to reply to messages and couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming both before and during our stay. The land is absolutely beautiful with cows, sheep and a great space for the kids to roam and play. Toilets and showers are well looked after, clean and close by. There is a wonderful games room with tv, pool table and couches to hang out in.
The gin distillery on site is wonderful as well, great for dinner and drinks. Seriously, so beautiful. We had a lovely evening up there last night, the pizzas were incredible. We can’t wait to get back!

Nice quiet shaded little camp site.
Fairly flat sites and firepits provided.
Bring your own firewood.
Would be a little tricky for novice vanners to manouver around the trees on site if you have anything over a 20' van unless you have someone guiding you but we had no problems at all.
Short walk to the Bakery, General Store and Pub.
And a short scenic drive to the McLaren Vale Wineries.
We will be back later on in the year when the shade will be much appreciated.
