Pindari Park is a beautiful 130 acre cliff top property that offers both North and South views of the River Murray. Situated on the western bank (cliff side) overlooking the most Northerly point of the river and the township of Cadell SA. Pindari means “From the high ground” from the aboriginal origin and was originally apart of the Nor’ West Bend Station (est. 1850) that stretched from Overland Corner to Burra. The Nor’ West Bend Station next door is now a heritage listed private residence. With Pindari Park’s scattered native trees, saltbush and mallee shrubs bringing an abundance of wildlife to the property, sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity. While you sit at the camps sites, enjoy watching the Cadell Ferry, appreciate birds and wildlife, or just enjoy the river boats on their journey up or down our mighty River Murray. You just might be able to catch one of the cruise boats or paddle steamers cruise past, make sure you give them a wave as they pass by. Pindari Park has many gravel roads and tracks to follow for taking a hike/walk, however, please note that this property is on a cliff, therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times. Each campsite has a fire pit area that can be used during May to October each year (fire ban period is November to April each year). If we are fully booked we will open up our cliff top fire pit near the cottage for all to enjoy (Contact Us Prior to booking). During October and November the cottage gardens are open to the public (Contact Us Prior for open days), with over 130 roses, many native trees and other plant varieties, you can wander around the gravel paths of our numerous our garden rooms and the orchard. Take a drive into to Morgan (9 kms) and visit the Old Wharf Port and the Landseers Museum or catch the Cadell Ferry and head across the river to visit the Spook Hill Winery or to use the local boat ramp. Notes: - Cliff-top property, may not be suitable for young children. Caution to be taken at all times. - NO River Access. - NO dumping of rubbish. - NO dumping of toilet waste, nearest dump points are located in Morgan and Cadell. - Pets/Dogs – must be on a lead at all times. - Nearest Boat Ramp – Cadell. - Cadell and Morgan both have fuel distributors and general stores.

Hoad's Haven - Site 3
Nestled along the tranquil river bend, this camping site offers a picturesque escape into nature. The highlight of the location is undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the river, perfect for early morning reflections or sunset gazing. The soft, sandy floor makes pitching tents comfortable and enjoyable, adding to the overall charm of the site. One of the most delightful surprises was the abundance of pelicans gracing the waters, adding a touch of wildlife to the serene landscape. Their graceful presence complemented the peaceful ambiance of the campsite, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike.

Riverbend - Site 2
We stayed at Pindari, site 2 (river bend) for 3 wonderful nights in July with 2 caravans. The site provided plenty if space for us and the views from the cliff top along the river are sensational and quite unique. Watching the ferry below go back and forth was facinating, albiet occasionally with a bit of noise. The sunriss and sunsets over the river/property was brilliant. Great location to act as as a base for exploring the region. Sue is fantastic and very knowledgeable of the area and history, and watching the feeding of the goats was very informative. Highly recommend.

A campsite with amazing views of the Murray River by the camp fire is exactly what was needed. The hosts were prompt and very easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend and return again.

Hoad's Haven - Site 3
Pindari Park offers an unparalleled camping experience for families and nature enthusiasts alike. Perched on top of a cliff, our campsite provided a stunning vista overlooking the River Murray. The view of the ferry chugging along and the river winding into the distance was picturesque. Waking up to witness the sunrise from this vantage point was truly a magical moment—seeing the sky and river painted in vibrant hues of orange and pink. For those seeking a tranquil escape with breathtaking views, Pindari Park is a must-visit. Don't miss out on the chance to camp at one of the best spots along the River Murray.
