We are not far from The Blue Lake, The little blue is also close by, and is perfect for swimming in summer. The Umpherston Caves is literally just down the road, and is wonderful for a picnic, or on dusk feeding the possums. Sites are approx 20m x 20m, lined with trees, perfect for pitching a tent, parking a van, camper trailer, RV, or even a bus! You can even bring your boat! We are only 25 minutes away from Port MacDonnell, put your boat in, go fishing or just enjoy the beach. One van/tent per site (unless negotiated prior). There are showers, toilets, a free BBQ in the community park , mobile phone coverage and potable water available We are the closest campground to the new Nilpena Ediacara National Park. Please do not go down the 4WD only road to Beltana, proceed to the bitumen Road and follow the signs. Beltana is a State Heritage listed town in Adnyamathanha country. Beltana is important as it is the home of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, was influential in the establishment of the Overland Telegraph and was important is the states early settlement. Beltana has survived in spite of the challenges and has an excellent walking trail detailing this history for visitors. There is capacity to have a fire in a communal fire pit, but please bring your own wood. Dogs on leashes welcome. This campsite offers a safe and comfortable place for campers who are travelling through on their holiday and need somewhere to stop overnight, but two nights is recommended to give you a chance to visit this historic town. The town is significant is South Australian history and there is interpretative signage that provides the visitor with an informative trail. Whilst with us visit the new Nilpena Ediacara National Park. We have the closest camping facilities.

We live in a beautiful hidden valley on 30 acres, We're joined by friendly dogs, horses, alpacas, rabbits, guinea pigs, 2 lovely Camels, Galloway cows and chooks, along with the resident wildlife including many birds, kangaroos, koalas, shy owls, and even an echidna! All this, plus beautiful views from atop our hills, right to the lake, and the delightful winter creek complete with frogs. We are close to the McLaren Vale wine region as well as wineries throughout the Hills and 35 minutes to the coast of Victor Harbor. The Greenman Inn is 5 minutes down the road and has wonderful food from Wed to Sun if you do not feel the urge to cook with wood fires for the cold nights or a gorgeous outdoor area for the warmer months. At present, we offer two areas for camping. Topspot which has lovely views and is quite secluded amongst the tree tops. This site is suitable for tents and camper trailers (need reasonable backing skills and 4WD) The Laneway which is close to the babbling creek is suitable for those with a small caravan, or motorhome, 2WD etc, along with tent campers. (but would struggle with large caravans/motorhomes - please check with hosts) (The Lookout/Highview has spectacular views Please note this site is currently closed due to stock rotation.) If you have any doubts about which to book, please ask. AUTUMN/WINTER MONTHS: if we receive considerable rain the trek up to the hill sites could become slippery and not accessible as it is a farm paddock, therefore unfortunately your booking may need to be cancelled. NOTE: On our farm there is limited phone coverage in the valley (The Laneway). Pets are welcome, however, please ensure they are kept under control (unless discussed with the host) at all times. Please note: This is an active small farm, therefore work may need be continued throughout your stay possibly necessitating the use of machinery and tending to our livestock. If you wish to see some of the animals up close, please let us know and we will try to accommodate. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. Situated on the western bank (cliff side) overlooking the most Northerly point of the river and the township of Cadell SA. Pindari means “From the high ground” from the aboriginal origin and was originally apart of the Nor’ West Bend Station (est. 1850) that stretched from Overland Corner to Burra. The Nor’ West Bend Station next door is now a heritage listed private residence. With Pindari Park’s scattered native trees, saltbush and mallee shrubs bringing an abundance of wildlife to the property, sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity. While you sit at the camps sites, enjoy watching the Cadell Ferry, appreciate birds and wildlife, or just enjoy the river boats on their journey up or down our mighty River Murray. You just might be able to catch one of the cruise boats or paddle steamers cruise past, make sure you give them a wave as they pass by. Pindari Park has many gravel roads and tracks to follow for taking a hike/walk, however, please note that this property is on a cliff, therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times. Each campsite has a fire pit area that can be used during May to October each year (fire ban period is November to April each year). Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer Ranges and is on the Bremer River in Rockleigh. This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area. We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums- surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags. The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully. We are 45 minute drive from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region. We are only 30 minutes drive from Monarto Conservation Park which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals. We have 2 toilets available but please BYO toilet paper. Sorry, no pets. Please note that Pymbroke is in the Murraylands zone & fire danger season starts early. 1st November 2025.

At certain times of the year the Clydesdales will be in harness putting on a draught display. Horse Rides are available thru booking exras on the date of the Booking , no cash can be accepted for extras or late bookings. Campers are set up in a large open area, with both grassy and sandy options, suitable for tents and caravans/campers, with some areas more off-road and private than others. Upon arrival, you are welcome to choose your spot. As well as plenty to do on and around the property, there is a great bike track from the farm into Bordertown town, and we are also just walking distance from the town pool. We have no facilities here so you need to be self-sufficient with your own toilet. We do however provide firewood for the campfire. You are also welcome to bring your pet along, so long as they're kept under control and don't disturb our animals.

Such a beautiful spot- my partner, pup and I, had the most relaxing time enjoying the stunning views and privacy of Camp 1. Would love to come back again with the family as there is so much space on each site, the long drops were clean as, and we’d like to explore the hiking further as it was quite hot by the time we peeled our bottoms of the camping chairs, and the snakes were out to play! What a great spot. Great hosts and an amazing outlook. Camp #5 is a neat bush setting and mountains in the background. Not far out of Port Augusta but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere.

We were welcomed with a lovely welcome pack amd smiles! Although we didn't end up staying because it was raining so hard, we did get to pat the camels and see the animals! Sam refunded me without me even asking which was very kind. Would recommend :)

I can’t recommend Sam and Chris’s place more highly. The location was perfect - a short drive either way from the farm and you’re in the middle of beautiful wine and food country. The farm itself was gorgeous - I went to sleep and woke up the sound of birds each day and the sunset from the top of the hill was pretty spectacular. Sam and Chris were incredibly generous with their time, showing me around the property and introducing me to all of the animals, as well as giving plenty of recommendations for the area. You can tell how much they care for all of their animals and they really want their guests to feel at home. I’ll definitely be back again!!

This was our first off grid stay in our brand new caravan - and we absolutely loved it. Beautiful property, and so relaxing. Trish was lovely, and very friendly, yet non-intrusive. (Nothing against Peter- but we did not meet him - sure he is equally lovely.) If we lived in the same state, we would definitely make this a regular stay. Thanks for letting us share your piece of paradise.

It's a large farm, off the beaten path, with a variety of different camping areas. Trish put us in an open field by a fire pit because there were high winds forecast overnight. You can hike up to a ridge with sunset views down to a broad valley. We were the only campers there that night and it was overcast and pitch black. There are sheep on the property and we had a herd visit our camp in the morning. It was easy to book online with quick confirmation and we drove there after having dinner in Clare. It was great for us and would recommend to anyone wanting something different away from the crowds.

Amazing view. We arrived in an absolute storm. Rain going sideways. Russell & Alison were on hand to show us where to set up but given the weather we headed for a motel. The property is beautiful with a variety of great looking camp spots. We’ll be back :)

The camp was awesome, we stayed in The Carobs. The sites are closer together than I expected but we were lucky enough to have the whole camp to ourselves for most of our stay! The range of fire pits Rodney had available to borrow was awesome and having wood on site for $20 was convenient!

We returned once again to an excellent camp-site surrounded by friendly sheep with lovely views of the hills, gum trees and open paddocks. We watched a pair of wedge-tailed eagles soaring along the nearby hills for hours. We were met by Trish upon arrival who was friendly and cheerful, as always.

Great quiet spot for our 19’6 caravan for a couple of nights. Steve the host was amazing and made us feel right at home. One of the best stays we’ve had on our lap and will be back again here next time we are around. This spot is a perfect central location for exploring the Adelaide Hills region. Only 2 spots makes this feel really private too.
