Campers choose their site in the designated camp spots. Sites are not allocated unless by prior arrangement. This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area. We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums- surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags. The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully. We are 45 minute drive from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region. We are only 30 minutes drive from Monarto Conservation Park which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals. We have 2 toilets available but please BYO toilet paper. Sorry, no pets. We live in a beautiful hidden valley on 30 acres, We're joined by friendly dogs, horses, alpacas, rabbits, guinea pigs, 2 lovely Camels, 2 cheeky pigs, Galloway cows and chooks, along with the resident wildlife including many birds, kangaroos, koalas, shy owls, and even an echidna! All this, plus beautiful views from atop our hills, right to the lake, and the delightful winter creek complete with frogs. We are close to the McLaren Vale wine region as well as wineries throughout the Hills and 35 minutes to the coast of Victor Harbor. The Greenman Inn is 5 minutes down the road and has wonderful food from Wed to Sun if you do not feel the urge to cook with wood fires for the cold nights or a gorgeous outdoor area for the warmer months. At present, we offer two areas for camping. Topspot which has lovely views and is quite secluded amongst the tree tops. This site is suitable for tents and camper trailers (need reasonable backing skills and 4WD) The Laneway which is close to the babbling creek is suitable for those with a small caravan, or motorhome, 2WD etc, along with tent campers. (but would struggle with large caravans/motorhomes - please check with hosts) (The Lookout/Highview has spectacular views Please note this site is currently closed due to stock rotation.) If you have any doubts about which to book, please ask. AUTUMN/WINTER MONTHS: if we receive considerable rain the trek up to the hill sites could become slippery and not accessible as it is a farm paddock, therefore unfortunately your booking may need to be cancelled. NOTE: On our farm there is limited phone coverage in the valley (The Laneway). Pets are welcome, however, please ensure they are kept under control (unless discussed with the host) at all times. Please note: This is an active small farm, therefore work may need be continued throughout your stay possibly necessitating the use of machinery and tending to our livestock. If you wish to see some of the animals up close, please let us know and we will try to accommodate. We ask that all fires be contained within the fire pit provided and a portable toilet is available for your use. Bluegums Farm, Here we have a range of animals ,Supervised interaction with clydesdale horses, camels, sheep, cows available. At certain times of the year the Clydesdales will be in harness putting on a draught display. no cash can be accepted for extras or late bookings. Campers are set up in a large open area, with both grassy and sandy options, suitable for tents and caravans/campers, with some areas more off-road and private than others. Upon arrival, you are welcome to choose your spot. As well as plenty to do on and around the property, there is a great bike track from the farm into Bordertown town, and we are also just walking distance from the town pool. We have no facilities here so you need to be self-sufficient with your own toilet. We do however provide firewood for the campfire. You are also welcome to bring your pet along, so long as they're kept under control and don't disturb our animals.

We are located walking distance from lake alexandrina, we’re there are plenty of activities to do such as fishing, boating, and more. There is abundance of wildlife with our resident mob of kangaroos stoping by daily it’s a bird watchers paradise. This site is a 4 minute walk from the main house and is completely private. The property has its own private road so plenty of room for kids to ride their bikes, we have horses and cows that guests are welcome to feed over the fence. Dogs are welcome lots of room for them to run around, we also have paddle boards for hire. The town of milang has its own mini mart and cafe and on weekends the train museum is open for viewing. Must be self contained and leave no trace.

We live in a beautiful hidden valley on 30 acres, We're joined by friendly dogs, horses, alpacas, rabbits, guinea pigs, 2 lovely Camels, 2 cheeky pigs, Galloway cows and chooks, along with the resident wildlife including many birds, kangaroos, koalas, shy owls, and even an echidna! All this, plus beautiful views from atop our hills, right to the lake, and the delightful winter creek complete with frogs. We are close to the McLaren Vale wine region as well as wineries throughout the Hills and 35 minutes to the coast of Victor Harbor. The Greenman Inn is 5 minutes down the road and has wonderful food from Wed to Sun if you do not feel the urge to cook with wood fires for the cold nights or a gorgeous outdoor area for the warmer months. At present, we offer two areas for camping. Topspot which has lovely views and is quite secluded amongst the tree tops. This site is suitable for tents and camper trailers (need reasonable backing skills and 4WD) The Laneway which is close to the babbling creek is suitable for those with a small caravan, or motorhome, 2WD etc, along with tent campers. (but would struggle with large caravans/motorhomes - please check with hosts) (The Lookout/Highview has spectacular views Please note this site is currently closed due to stock rotation.) If you have any doubts about which to book, please ask. AUTUMN/WINTER MONTHS: if we receive considerable rain the trek up to the hill sites could become slippery and not accessible as it is a farm paddock, therefore unfortunately your booking may need to be cancelled. NOTE: On our farm there is limited phone coverage in the valley (The Laneway). Pets are welcome, however, please ensure they are kept under control (unless discussed with the host) at all times. Please note: This is an active small farm, therefore work may need be continued throughout your stay possibly necessitating the use of machinery and tending to our livestock. If you wish to see some of the animals up close, please let us know and we will try to accommodate. We ask that all fires be contained within the fire pit provided and a portable toilet is available for your use. BUSHFIRE SEASON: Wood and open fires are not permitted in the bushfire season, therefore you will not be able to use the fire pits.

Our property is located in the town of Fountain, 24kms from Port Lincoln. We are a hobby farm that is set amongst the gum trees and have large spacious sites for you to relax and enjoy. On a clear night, the stars are amazing. We are only a 15 minutes drive from Coffin Bay and its fresh seafood, stunning beaches, fishing and water activities. There are National Parks within easy reach where you can enjoy 4Wdriving, hiking and swimming. Guests are welcome to bring their horses with them for the duration of their stay. Please contact the host beforehand if you would like to bring your horse so we can prepare. We have great horse facilities, including a large sand arena, round yard, yards and places to ride, including a beautiful beach not far from here. Had an excellent time at this spot, tucked away on a nicely grassed area. Steve was more than welcoming. There was a zipline and swings for the kids to play and there are also some resident koala’s you can spot in the trees. We would definitely stay again if we head to South Australia again!

Fantastic site overlooking Port Lincoln Bay. Stunning views! Very large sites, hay bales as wind break and the great communications starting the week before I arrived culminating in interactions with both hosts made for a fantastic stay. The offer to fill water tanks on arrival set the scene for a very welcoming environment. I highly recommend this site for self contained campers.

The camp site was peaceful. There is only 3 sites but I was the only person there. Kylie uses the site for live music gigs once or twice a year and people can hire the place for weddings. It's picturesque and the dogs, Juno and Audrey are gorgeous. I got my doggy fix . Kylie came down for a chat while I was at the camp kitchen. She's a lovely host. I would recommend the site to anyone who likes a quiet and scenic camp. Oh, the toilets were fancy and fabulous.

We had a lovely stay at Toondilla 1. Beautiful spot, a wonderful nature getaway. The instructions were very helpful and accurate, the 2 sites are well maintained and far enough apart to ensure peace and privacy. There was plenty of level space for the set up of our camper trailer and annexe. Steve was a very welcoming host and provided great suggestions for exploring the surrounding area. We walked to the bakery for a coffee and pastry each day and enjoyed a meal from the hotel one evening. Would definitely recommend as a lovely camping spot and keen for another visit in the future.
