Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. Emporium cafe for the best coffee in Riverton Important Information to know before ALL GUESTS/VISITORS MUST BE BOOKED IN BEFORE ENTERING OUR PROPERTY!!! All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead. Generators are allowed on the unpowered sites, please respect other campers with turning them off by 10 pm at the latest. No chainsaws on property. Loud music not permitted, please turn silent by 8.30PM Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times STRICTLY NO MOTORBIKES RIDDEN ON PROPERTY No rally driving. If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking, We also operate another Hipcamp called BURRA CREEK CAMPING situated 25km North of Robertstown, ideal for mostly 4WD and off road campers. Milky Way Hut

Camp in our converted silo, with a shelter over your head, but still able to view the starry skies and magical sunrises through the window.  One small double swag can comfortably fit inside the hut, or pitch your tent outside and still enjoy the warmth of sitting inside. Welcome to park your caravan, motor home or camper trailer alongside as well.  There is a grass floor, carpet square by fire, with a luxury leather lounge and a table. This is a basic shelter and campers need to BYO everything else (including cooking equipment, and extra lighting), and leave it as (or better than) they find it.  Pets are welcomed, but please no pets laying on lounge. We've enclosed the silo with a shade cloth, to help protect you from the wind. Enjoy warming up with the pot belly pig fireplace. Your welcome to collect small kindling wood to get your fire started, but you will need to please bring some bigger wood also, that fits in the pot belly, or for outside fires. The hut is a short walk to the shared long drop toilet, mini putt putt golf, lawn bowls and assorted games.  Pets are welcome to stay too, but please ensure you clean up after them.  You'll also have easy access to the Heysen Trail for walkers and Ratttlers Trail for pushbikes!  Any visitors coming onto our property for a day visit, not staying, please go to the extra section when placing booking and add them to your payment.

Shepherds Hut

A restored historical building established in 1850’s .. A lot of history in the Shepherds Hut. Has a convectional heater inside to keep you warm, with a room to boil your billy or slow cook a stew over the day, please remember that it is basic, and not a resort. Beautiful views surrounding the site, sunrises and sunsets are amazing. The hut is situated next to the shearing shed, a short walk to a shared long drop toilet, but it be best to be fully self contained. Caravans will be able to park next to the hut, camper trailers and tents will have a grassed/dirt area close by to also set up, will need to level yourselves. Minimal solar lights are set up inside, you will need to bring your own lighting for extra lights. It has slate/dirt floors, with minimal furniture inside., you will need to bring everything for your comforts, with room for you to put a double swag on the ground it a wet night outside. Basic traffic from other campers on busy weekends. Tracks to walk and explore our property. Easy bicycle dirt road ride into our closest town. Lovely bird noises, and sheep grazing the property. Wood will be able to be purchased from us, please let us know before arrival, or your welcome to bring your own smaller pieces for the heater. The old Homestead close to Shepherds Hut is fully off bounds, as well as their horses PRIVATE PROPERTY. CAUTION ELECTRIC FENCE BY HORSES. Please give them their privacy and especially no loud noise. NO DOGS at this site please No loud music please, silent by 8.30pm. No motorbikes, guns or rally driving

Milky Way Hut
What a fantastic farmstay! The hosts Pete and Trish were so hospitable and we thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the stay. We tented at the Milky Way Hut campsite and our friends had their camper trailer. Nice mostly level site, beautiful views of the hills and of the sunsets, lots of space between our campsite and the other sites, short walk or very short bike ride to the long drop (which was well-maintained), lots of birdlife and we met the resident bearded dragon who befriends campers with his calm, friendly presence. The sheep were great to have around us. The milky way hut was such a great addition to the campsite. A couple of times during our 8-day stay it was windy or raining and it was great to get out of the weather in the hut and use the fire in there to warm us up. the kids (and adults) enjoyed bike riding around the farm. We head up the hill to the Heysen Trail and a walkers hut nearby - nice hike with gorgeous views. I can't fault this farmstay at all - we'll definitely be back!

What an amazing property you have Trish and Peter. Thankyou for an absolutely marvellous weekend. Campsites are good distance apart and generous in size. Will definitely be returning. Highlight for my grandson was the morning visit from the sheep every day. Supplying the firewood was also great and saved bringing our own.

Such a lovely spot to get away from it all and so close to the city too! My kids loved waking up to the sheep all around our camping site and seeing the neighboring horses. We loved how easy it was to get around the property and the owners were kind enough to block off our site entrance to reduce my traffic coming through our site which was appreciated. Beautiful stay ☀️

Spectacular views on every direction. Great find. Very cool to have sheep wandering through. Longdrop was close and clean. Perfect for one or two tents or trailers. Peter and Trish were great hosts, friendly and helpful. Good communication prior to arrival and checked in with us during the stay. This was our 4th stay at Edge Hill at Tiny Creek, and it’s become so much more than just a farm stay - it almost feels like visiting family now! Trish and Peter are wonderful hosts. They give you plenty of privacy to enjoy your stay, while still checking the amenities daily and making sure you have everything you need. Even the sheep like to wander over for a visit! This time we stayed with a larger group, including multiple dogs, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The property is beautiful, with lots of tracks to walk and explore. The Sunset Baa is always a family favourite, and the kids love getting their annual Insta-worthy sunset photos! Thank you again, Trish and Peter, for another wonderful stay. Four stays in and we’ll definitely be back!

This is a beautiful spot of land, with a range of great campsites. I tented solo, with a lovely fire under a full moon - and then took a walk up the escarpment the following day for amazing views. Peter met me and was welcoming and a great host. I will happily return and bring mates too.

We had a great weekend camping at Peter and Trish’s campground. We stayed at the Twin Creeks site. The property was beautiful and very well kept. The sites were a good distance away from each other, which meant it felt private. The long drop toilet was well set up and we loved the bar on the hill a sunset baa. Very close to the Heysen Trail, which made going for a walk very easy.

Five star camping at its best! We were warmly welcomed and personally escorted to our campsite. It was idyllic. Flat ground with a fire pit. Nestled between lush green fields and the brilliant yellow of the canola crops. There are activities for children and grown ups, a sunset spot and a quirky place to retreat to if the weather turns. We will return. Thank you so much Trish and Pete!
