200 Acre property previously used for grain and livestock. Wildlife includes kangaroos, emus, wide variety of bird and geese, many of which you can see on our facebook page. All the campsites have been developed from naturally occurring breaks in the scrub making the environment of campers naturally appealing and less damaging. You can enjoy the convenience of being one minute away from the town centre, general store and tavern. By camping here, you can expect a premium level of privacy separation between sites with your experience coming before profit maximising in our eyes. We have sites to fit all sizes with our largest and most separated being site 7. Overall we aim to offer the most authentic camping experience for all. Firewood collection is prohibited. Land owner may do camp site inspection at anytime. Land owner has the rights to evict if you are not following our rules. On requesting a site you will be asked to read the conditions and provide some details including vehicle registration and full names. This is seperate to Hipcamp and requested by the property owners on each booking.

I loved camping here on camp site no. 7! Massive, private and secluded. Would recommend to anyone to wants to escape for some peace and quiet.

Lovely private location, super quiet. Gorgeous bush land surrounding. Good spot to explore then national park. Fire bans are strict in this area. Large site, could fit 3-4 caravans on this site if allowed.

Good base to explore national park, whilst staying close to the town. Similar in feel to the national park/council bush camps, good sized sites and sheltered from the wind. Drop toilet was far away from our site, but is closer to some of the others.

Private, well maintained, fairly priced sites that make for a really peaceful stay. Managed to lock ourselves out of our vehicle in the morning in the cold, contacted management and they were on it straight away - super friendly owner came through with extra layers, water and a phone charger. What started as a shocker of a morning turned into a nice chat! Thanks again to the crew at Marion Bay Bush Camping :)

It's very basic, which for some is appealing. 7 small sites of sandy soil, with nice bush and birdlife, but there's only a bush toilet, at some distance from some of the sites, and nothing else in the way of facilities. Booking a site is weird. Phone numbers on the gate produced only messages, though Matthew did get back later. He said booking has to be through Hipcamp, which is when the weirdness started. The online booking form asked us how long our campervan was, and when we put in 7 metres, it said the only allowable size (to proceed with booking) was 1-3 metres! A campervan 3 metres long, let alone 1 metre, would be a tad uncomfortable..... Another phone call to Matthew, who said to just put in 3 metres. So we did. Then the form said it couldn't complete the booking because we hadn't 'said hello'. This was about putting something in the message box. So we did. The booking was then accepted. Finally, we feel the small site we had, with only an old bush toilet, is overpriced ($27 a night including card fee), or close to $40 if you choose one of the larger sites. Next day we moved to the nearby commercial caravan park, where we have electricity, water, grass, splendid toilets and showers, and a big site, for $55. A better deal, but sad, because the simpler Bush Camping could be preferable if not so over-priced....

Perfect spot for bush camping! Spacious, full of shade and privacy away from other sites. Matthew was quick to respond and the whole process was very easy. We had a wonderful and comfortable experience with our two year old.

We loved camping at Marion Bay Bush Camp, the sites are nestled amongst the natural vegetation, they r very private and very peaceful. Site 7 is great for big rigs or a couple of caravans. Very close to main beach, jetty and boat ramp at Marion Bay. We would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful camp site.

Great location,short stroll to the general store and Marion bay Jetty. Awesome campsites,was nice and clean and quiet and was far enough away from other sites,so it made it feel really private. Matt was really easy to deal with and runs a good show.

We stayed in site 7. So much space, perfect for our kids to ride bikes and play. Private with lots of bushland around. Level ground for the van. Close to the national park.

Stayed at campsite 4. It was really quiet and a very well kept campsite. Lots of room and a good walking distance from the town. Would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone.

Very private and clean campsite. I stayed at site 3 which was a drive thru site. I travelled on my own, but there is heaps of room for at least to set ups if needed. Very peaceful place to stay.
