Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Our property of 16 acres of natural scrub offers walking access to the beach along a 100-metre sandy path. YOU MUST BE SELF CONTAINED TO STAY 😉 Located only 1 km from the township of Marion Bay, it is an easy stroll via the beach or road to the local jetty, Tavern, shop, playground, and community centre. The amazing Dhilba-Guuranda National Park is only 6 km away, providing many choices of great beaches - well known for surfing, fishing, swimming, and hiking trails. Pets are welcome ... but we do ask that they be kept on a lead and not left unsupervised whilst on the property. Clean up after your dogs, so no-one has to step in their poop!! The walk-on beach is dog friendly. Self contained campers only please. Bring everything you need and take it all with you on departure.

Our property offers 16 acres of natural scrub with a short 150 mtr stroll directly onto the sandy beach. Note: One van/RV per site allowed. Enjoy the peaceful surrounds of camping in nature, listening to the calls of native birds, the ocean at night, whilst having the abundance of summer activities close by. Located only 1 km from the township of Marion Bay, it is an easy stroll along the beach or roadside to the local jetty, Tavern, shop, playground and commnity centre. Take a short drive of 6kms to the amazing Dhilba-Guuranda National Park, offering loads of beautiful beaches to spend your day - well known for the surfing, fishing, swimming and hiking trails.

Great open space. Kids had a great time chasing butterflies and going down to the beach. Great location just out of Marion Bay to do day trips further down the coast.

Clean and easy to access camp site. Great base camp to spend a few nights while exploring the area, very friendly and welcoming hosts also. Beach access is only a few minute easy walk to get to.

Great large, private sites and only a short walk to the beach. The beach access is easy and it's a great beach for a walk or swim. Sites had trees all around and were level. Close to town and the National Park.

We enjoyed our stay. A short stroll to the water and a short drive to Marion Bay and Innes National Park. The location is perfect for those of us who are self sufficient. Thank you to Beth and Andrew for an enjoyable visit to their property.

We were breifly greeted by Beth and Andrew as we were setting up camp and they were incredibly nice and welcoming - offering good advice on where to visit nearby and that we could sing out if we needed anything. Fairly open plan camping with ample space between sites and a quick walk down to the beach for us and the dogs to explore. Gets pretty windy so pack accordingly and you'll be laughing.

We had a lovely stay at this campground. The space is very pleasant and generously sized, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We were warmly welcomed by Beth, who was incredibly kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend!

Lovely Beth popped over and welcomed us and gave us a quick run down and places to see and go. The Innes Nat park is a must. Camp site, plenty of room over the Easter long weekend. we parked the van along the fence line to shelter from the wind and it was great. 5 minute walk to the beach was a bonus, unfortunately the wind was blowing the wrong way and it was full of seaweed.

Hostile and dismissive treatment

I regret staying at Andrew and Beth's Hipcamp at Marion Bay. While Beth was friendly and polite, Andrew’s behaviour was shocking and anything but hospitable. After four nights of camping, on the morning of our departure, I faced an emergency. Our camper toilet was completely full, and I urgently needed to go. I mustered the courage to politely ask if I could use their toilet, explaining the situation was an emergency and knowing I wouldn’t make it to town in time. Andrew’s response was rude and dismissive. He stated that campers needed to be self-contained and that my situation wasn’t his problem. He also mentioned they had visitors and couldn’t possibly allow me to use their bathroom. I fully understand the self-contained policy, and we have been completely self contained for the four days there, but emergencies happen, and the way he handled the situation—cold, judgmental, and downright hostile—was appalling. After I walked away, Andrew came over to the shed opposite our site and glared at us in a way that felt intimidating, creepy and unwelcoming. It seemed like he was trying to ensure I wouldn’t go on the campsite, adding to the discomfort of an already humiliating experience. I won't return due to being treated this way.

My partner and I loved camping at Beth & Andrews land! There was plenty of room so we had lots of space to ourselves and then really appreciated the small walk to the beach which we basically had to ourselves the whole time! The jetty and pub were also a short walk away and there were Markets on near the Community Centre so we treated ourselves to some whiting tortillas from there! Absolutely loved our stay and had a fantastic time. Would return again for sure! Thankyou for having us Beth & Andrew 😊

Loved spending a couple of nights at this camp site. Wonderful 5-minute walk to the Beach, and plenty of space for the kids to run around. Great hosts who welcomed us, and assisted with any questions. One thing to note is there are a lot of prickles in the paddock. It is the country so it is to be expected. We put down our C-Mat and had no worries!

Beth and Andrew were great hosts, very accommodating. Super spacious block and all other hipcampers were great too. Far enough from each camper that you couldn't hear them for the most part. There's a beach path which is a very quick walk to the back beach which is great too. Nice & close to the General Store also. Highly recommend
