The Scrub Campsite located in remnant vegetation (14 minutes from Victor Harbor ) is a rustic self check in campsite as the owners do not reside near the campsite. Campers choose their site in the designated camp spots. Sites are not allocated unless by prior arrangement. Persons under 18, youth groups, school groups or scout groups etc. are not permitted to book at the campsite. A communal camp kitchen, water tanks and compost toilet is available for campers use. Fire pits are located at each site. Campers will be advised of fire bans. Wood can be purchased from the self service white ibc container for $15 for 20kgs. Please adhere to the camp rules which are posted at each campsite. The campsite is located on the Heysen Trail and close to many Lower Fleurieu Peninsula beaches and attractions. The popular Belicious Cafe is a 45 minute walk. Whole campsite bookings can be made by contacting the owners. We ask that campers respect all other campers, the land that they are camping on and follow the campers motto - Leave nothing but your footprints. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. Emporium cafe for the best coffee in Riverton Important Information to know before ALL GUESTS/VISITORS MUST BE BOOKED IN BEFORE ENTERING OUR PROPERTY!!! All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. We are a Poll Merino sheep stud and a wheat/barley cropping farm at Emu Downs in the Mid North of SA. We have resurrected this character old workers quarters which we've turned into a rustic, peaceful abode for you to enjoy. Sleeps four (double bed, single bed and old miners couch,). Bring your own bedding. There is a flushing external toilet and a bush shower (ie: a shower bag, provided). The room with the open fire can be utilised as a kitchen/living area. We've provided crockery, cutlery, glasses, kettles and a camp oven. There is running cold rainwater into the sink. Cooking can be done on the open fire, or use the small camp gas cookers. There is also a gas BBQ in the outdoor room. If you are really brave, try your hand at camp oven cooking in the campfire. There is no power, only lighting provided from a small solar panel/battery. Extra guests welcome in tents, swags or vans adjacent to the cottage. To ensure only one group of campers at a time, THE COTTAGE HAS TO BE BOOKED FIRST, then book the extra campers through the additional campsites listing. Eckert's Old Place is within an easy drive to the Clare Valley wine regions and historic Robertstown, Burra and Eudunda. Campfires welcome when not in fireban season. You can order a wheelbarrow load for $30, or bring your own. Dogs are permitted, but please understand, we are a sheep stud and need to ensure no disturbance from dogs. Pindari Park is a beautiful 130 acre CLIFF TOP property that offers both North and South views of the River Murray. Situated on the western bank (cliff side) overlooking the most Northerly point of the river and the township of Cadell SA. Our property does have a rocky underlay, due to the cliff, recommended that drill tent pegs are used. ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. Pindari means “From the high ground” from the aboriginal origin and was originally apart of the Nor’ West Bend Station (est. 1850) that stretched from Overland Corner to Burra. The Nor’ West Bend Station next door is now a heritage listed private residence. With Pindari Park’s scattered native trees, saltbush and mallee shrubs bringing an abundance of wildlife to the property, sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity. While you sit at the camps sites, enjoy watching the Cadell Ferry, appreciate birds and wildlife, or just enjoy the river boats on their journey up or down our mighty River Murray. You just might be able to catch one of the cruise boats or paddle steamers cruise past, make sure you give them a wave as they pass by. Pindari Park has many gravel roads and tracks to follow for taking a hike/walk, however, please note that this property is on a cliff, therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times. Each campsite has a fire pit area that can be used during May to October each year (fire ban period is November to April each year). ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. Take a drive into to Morgan (9 kms) and visit the Old Wharf Port and the Landseers Museum or catch the Cadell Ferry and head across the river to visit the Spook Hill Winery or to use the local boat ramp. Notes: - Cliff-top property, may not be suitable for young children. Please do not go down the 4WD only road to Beltana, proceed to the bitumen Road and follow the signs. Beltana is a State Heritage listed town in Adnyamathanha country. Beltana is important as it is the home of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, was influential in the establishment of the Overland Telegraph and was important is the states early settlement. Beltana has survived in spite of the challenges and has an excellent walking trail detailing this history for visitors. There is capacity to have a fire in a communal fire pit, but please bring your own wood. Dogs on leashes welcome. This campsite offers a safe and comfortable place for campers who are travelling through on their holiday and need somewhere to stop overnight, but two nights is recommended to give you a chance to visit this historic town. The town is significant is South Australian history and there is interpretative signage that provides the visitor with an informative trail. Whilst with us visit the new Nilpena Ediacara National Park. We have the closest camping facilities.

Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer Ranges and is on the Bremer River in Rockleigh. This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area. We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums- surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags. The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully. We are 45 minute drive from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region. We are only 30 minutes drive from Monarto Conservation Park which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals. We have 2 toilets available but please BYO toilet paper. Sorry, no pets. Please note that Pymbroke is in the Murraylands zone & fire danger season starts early. 1st November 2025.

The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. Situated on the western bank (cliff side) overlooking the most Northerly point of the river and the township of Cadell SA. Pindari means “From the high ground” from the aboriginal origin and was originally apart of the Nor’ West Bend Station (est. 1850) that stretched from Overland Corner to Burra. The Nor’ West Bend Station next door is now a heritage listed private residence. With Pindari Park’s scattered native trees, saltbush and mallee shrubs bringing an abundance of wildlife to the property, sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity. While you sit at the camps sites, enjoy watching the Cadell Ferry, appreciate birds and wildlife, or just enjoy the river boats on their journey up or down our mighty River Murray. You just might be able to catch one of the cruise boats or paddle steamers cruise past, make sure you give them a wave as they pass by. Pindari Park has many gravel roads and tracks to follow for taking a hike/walk, however, please note that this property is on a cliff, therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times. Each campsite has a fire pit area that can be used during May to October each year (fire ban period is November to April each year). Please do not go down the 4WD only road to Beltana, proceed to the bitumen Road and follow the signs. Beltana is a State Heritage listed town in Adnyamathanha country. Beltana is important as it is the home of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, was influential in the establishment of the Overland Telegraph and was important is the states early settlement. Beltana has survived in spite of the challenges and has an excellent walking trail detailing this history for visitors. There is capacity to have a fire in a communal fire pit, but please bring your own wood. Dogs on leashes welcome. This campsite offers a safe and comfortable place for campers who are travelling through on their holiday and need somewhere to stop overnight, but two nights is recommended to give you a chance to visit this historic town. The town is significant is South Australian history and there is interpretative signage that provides the visitor with an informative trail. Whilst with us visit the new Nilpena Ediacara National Park. We have the closest camping facilities.

Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer Ranges and is on the Bremer River in Rockleigh. This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area. We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums- surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags. The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully. We are 45 minute drive from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region. We are only 30 minutes drive from Monarto Conservation Park which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals. We have 2 toilets available but please BYO toilet paper. Sorry, no pets. Please note that Pymbroke is in the Murraylands zone & fire danger season starts early. 1st November 2025.

We are a Poll Merino sheep stud and a wheat/barley cropping farm at Emu Downs in the Mid North of SA. We have resurrected this character old workers quarters which we've turned into a rustic, peaceful abode for you to enjoy. Sleeps four (double bed, single bed and old miners couch,). Bring your own bedding. There is a flushing external toilet and a bush shower (ie: a shower bag, provided). The room with the open fire can be utilised as a kitchen/living area. We've provided crockery, cutlery, glasses, kettles and a camp oven. There is running cold rainwater into the sink. Cooking can be done on the open fire, or use the small camp gas cookers. There is also a gas BBQ in the outdoor room. If you are really brave, try your hand at camp oven cooking in the campfire. There is no power, only lighting provided from a small solar panel/battery. Extra guests welcome in tents, swags or vans adjacent to the cottage. To ensure only one group of campers at a time, THE COTTAGE HAS TO BE BOOKED FIRST, then book the extra campers through the additional campsites listing. Eckert's Old Place is within an easy drive to the Clare Valley wine regions and historic Robertstown, Burra and Eudunda. Campfires welcome when not in fireban season. I was in camp 5, with only 1 other camper visible off in the distance. The space looking down towards Port Augusta is huge. Unfortunately it was 32 degrees and extremely windy, and was not comfortable at all. Loads of flies. Luckily the big old gum tree provided shade. Any walks were out of the question. Once the wind dropped and the flies disappeared it was a pleasant spot to relax in. The sunset was beautiful.

The best portaloo and shower set up I have seen and a thoughtful addition for campers who aren't self sufficient or don't want to poo in the van loo. Absolutely worthwhile making the effort to get to Parrara View. We stayed on the Sugar Gums site. What a fabulous location in a grassy field of aged Sugar Gum trees. Excellent, clean (incredibly clean) amenities, cool little fire pits, flat campsite. Was our favourite ever Hipcamp so thoroughly recommended. Such a beautiful spot- my partner, pup and I, had the most relaxing time enjoying the stunning views and privacy of Camp 1. Would love to come back again with the family as there is so much space on each site, the long drops were clean as, and we’d like to explore the hiking further as it was quite hot by the time we peeled our bottoms of the camping chairs, and the snakes were out to play! Welcome to your dream destination!! We have two different locations available in Kangaroo Island with some options of sites in each. FIRST LOCATION: EMU BAY HIDEAWAY-30 hectares of peace, mainly vegetated with Kangaroo Island Narrow-leaved Mallee (Eucalyptus cneorifolia, a nationally-protected ecological community). Kangaroos and wallabies are in abundance. It has a wonderful feeling of remoteness and seclusion yet is so close to iconic Emu Bay. Those with 4WD may choose sites overlooking Shoal Bay towards Kingscote. Alternatively, you may set up camp anywhere on the property. There is even one under-cover position with a concrete floor for those concerned about the weather. There are no amenities so guests need to be 100% self-sufficient (including BYO drinking water and toilet) and leave no trace. It is a wild block and only five minutes from the iconic Emu Bay, where the white sandy beach runs for 4kms, most of which is backed by 10 to 20-meter-high dunes. It is one of the best beaches on the island with crystal-clear water. SECOND LOCATION: Farm Stay about 15 km from Emu Bay and 20km from the main town of Kingscote. This is an operating small sheep farm of over 100ha. For security reasons the exact location is not advertised, but will be disclosed upon arrival on Kangaroo Island. There are several beautiful sites. This location is fairly central to most KI visitor attractions. It is a secure place to set up camp and have peace of mind that your belongings will be safe while you are away from the site. The host takes care to situate sites to give campers the feeling of exclusiveness. NOTES; Check with me before lighting a campfire - this depends on the season and risk. Dogs are permitted if well controlled (register visiting dogs with local council). This is a campsite for those who want the best of both worlds, the serenity of the Australian Bush, but close to all the modern conveniences and holiday activities. Surrounded by the Hindmarsh Valley National Park and a working sheep farm, you’ll be sharing this campsite with the local kangaroos, and if you’re lucky, an echidna or two. There’s a creek running through, and vibrant bird life. Nearby is a beautiful bush-walk through the Mount Billy Conservation Park. Situated half way between Myponga and Victor Harbor, only 15 minutes to either, there are many activities available. Kayaking on the Myponga reservoir, or surfing, swimming and sun bathing at either Horseshoe Bay or Waitpinga. Urimbirra wildlife park is less than 10 minutes away, and around the corner is the Softfoot Alpaca Farm, with the on-site Swagman Restaurant. Also in Hindmarsh Valley is the lovely restaurant Lost Phoenix Farm. Over your stay, you will likely encounter our two dogs, Lola and Sherlock, who very much enjoy meeting our guests. Edenvale Pastorals was originally established as a solider settlers farm, and later was purchased by the Wilmott family in 2001 and converted to regenerative cell grazing cattle farm. The farm was leased for a few years, up until the recent 2019-2020 bush fires. Since the bush fires our family has decided to move back onto the farm and start the rebuild. We will be continuing with the sustainable farming practices and want to give people the opportunity to stay and enjoy the west end. No need to bring your own tent, stay with up to three people in a suspended tent! We can also provide bedding. Should you have a group larger than three, where some people can bring their own gear, we have space for them too. We have a hot outdoor shower, and compost toilet. Pets are also welcome, however must not be in the tent, and must not harass the wildlife. The suspended tent sleeps 3 people maximum. If you have any additional people who bring their own camping gear they are welcome to book our other listing 'Jump Off Road Camp (own gear).' The surrounding paddocks are home to our cattle that pass through occasionally, and during the afternoons you have the opportunity to observe the abundant wild life that come to life, as well as a healthy bird life among the trees. On your stay you have the choice of enjoying the walks and hikes through out the De'mole river and Cape Torrens that are at your door step, go sightseeing in the national park, the De Tong Ling Stupa, Billy Goat water falls or even Western River Cove or just relax and enjoy the serenity of your suspended tree tent experience.Either way, we hope you enjoy what the west end has to offer. Flinders Chase National Park is 40km via bitumen road or 27 km via Shackle road. Keep up to date with road closures through Flinders Chase national park website. Cape Borda Light house is 23km from our farm, there are several hikes in that area such as the Ravine Des Casoars and Harveys return. Keep tabs on their website as the park is closed, however still accessible by foot from the gate. De Tong Ling Stupa is 20km from our farm and is open to the public to visit. Billy Goat waterfalls generally has water flowing through mid winter, but regardless is a beautiful easy hike that comes alive with fungus and orchids early winter and during spring. Be mindful we are 45 minutes from the closest fuel station, at Parndana, and most places close early so it would be wise to be well prepared before getting here. 15km of the road is dirt, just take it easy if you're in a 2wd, and be aware of eagles, kangaroos and wallabies. A small family run certified organic farm with a Pinot vineyard, views over piccadilly valley, and fruit orchard. Set behind the beautiful Mt Lofty Ranges in the Adelaide Hills and only 20 minutes from the city. Our farm has a Bernese Mountain Dog named Lotti, 6 ducks, 4 chooks, and a cat named Alfie. Surrounded on one side by National Park and the other by vineyards and plenty of wineries. The next township is just a few minutes away and has all the necessary needs (pharmacy, GP, pub, general store). Within 10 minutes you can rock climb or go swimming in a fresh waterhole. It’s a beautiful part of the world.
