The Scrub Campsite located in remnant vegetation (14 minutes from Victor Harbor ) is a rustic self check in campsite as the owner does not reside near the campsite.
The Scrub Campsite has evolved to offer adults-only camping experience. In response to strong demand for child-free accommodation, the campsite now operates exclusively as an 18+ campsite ideal for couples, solo travellers, and small groups seeking a tranquil and relaxing environment.
Campers choose their site in the designated camp spots. Sites are not allocated unless by prior arrangement.
A communal camp kitchen, water tanks and compost toilet is available for campers use. You can connect your gas bottle to a Kick Ass hot water shower. Fire pits are located at each site. Campers will be advised of fire bans by signage on the front gate. Campers are not permitted on high fire danger days.
Wood can be purchased from the self service white ibc container for $20 for a wheel barrow load.
Please adhere to the camp rules which are posted at each campsite.
The campsite is located on the Heysen Trail and close to many Lower Fleurieu Peninsula beaches and attractions. The popular Belicious Cafe is a 50 minute walk.
Whole campsite bookings for larger groups can be made by contacting the owner..
We ask that campers respect all other campers, the land that they are camping on and follow the campers motto - Leave nothing but your footprints.

There are showers, toilets, a free BBQ in the community park , mobile phone coverage and potable water available We are the closest campground to the new Nilpena Ediacara National Park. Please do not go down the 4WD only road to Beltana, proceed to the bitumen Road and follow the signs.
Beltana is a State Heritage listed town in Adnyamathanha country. Beltana
is important as it is the home of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, was influential in the establishment of the Overland Telegraph and was important is the states early settlement. Beltana has survived in spite of the challenges
and has an excellent walking trail detailing this history for visitors.
There is capacity to have a fire in a communal fire pit, but please bring your own wood. Dogs on leashes welcome.
This campsite offers a safe and comfortable place for campers who are travelling through on their holiday and need somewhere to stop overnight, but two nights is recommended to give you a chance to visit this historic town.
The town is significant is South Australian history and there is interpretative signage that provides the visitor with an informative trail.
Whilst with us visit the new Nilpena Ediacara National Park. We have the closest camping facilities.

Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail.
The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy!
There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes.
Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh.
There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock
and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet.
Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. Emporium cafe for the best coffee in Riverton

Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer
Ranges and is
on the Bremer River in Rockleigh.
This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area.
We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums-
surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated
further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and
requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags.
The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully.
We are 45 minute drive
from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region.
We are only 30 minutes drive from
Monarto Conservation Park
which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals.
We have 2 toilets available but please BYO toilet paper. Sorry, no pets. Please note that Pymbroke is in the Murraylands zone & fire danger season starts early. 1st November 2025.

Spear Creek is located 25 kilometres south-east of Port Augusta, only 12km off Highway 1. Our eastern boundary follows the summit of the ranges north from Horrocks Pass, with walking trails through deep gorges to range top views of upper Spencer Gulf. The Holiday park is nestled amongst 600 year old river red gums adjacent to the ranges.
You may meet any of the three different species of kangaroos, echidnas, or 85 species of birds including wedge-tail eagles and peregrine falcons who call Spear Creek home.

Your campsite is surrounded by native trees and scrub so it’s not unusual to have kangaroos, koalas, and native birds like kookaburras and cockatoos stop by for a visit.
Behind your campsite there's an organic fruit orchard where the chickens forage. The property also features paddocks with roaming sheep and an alpaca. Let the host know if you would like a farm tour or to join in feeding the farm animals.
We only allow one group on our campsite at a time to ensure you have a peaceful and quiet stay.
We are a small, family owned and run hobby farm. Eggs and other farm produce for sale on request when there is surplus. Campfires allowed when restrictions aren't in place (firewood available to buy at our wood stall).

Pichi Richi Park is our family owned and operated property, 13km south of Quorn in the heart of the Pichi Richi Pass.
We have plenty of campsites, including bush campsites that are secluded and private, along with campsites that are much closer to our bathrooms, group accommodation, kitchens and bush cabins.
Here at Pichi Richi Park, there are a number of signposted walking tracks ranging in distance from a few km up to a 10km+ loop. The Heysen Trail comes through our property for nearly 7km and some of our own walking tracks link with the Heysen as it meanders through our property.
You can also ride your mountain bike around and the Mawson Bike Trail is not far away.
We have over 1,000 acres of land around our accommodation that we do not graze as we are allowing this beautiful piece of Aussie outback to return to its original and pristine state.
We are not a caravan park, so all campers and caravanners that come here get a fair bit of space and nobody is on top of anyone else.
Quorn is our local town and is 13km away to the north. Quorn has 2 pubs, a number of cafes and a little supermarket that is open from 7am to 8pm 7 days a week.

Obviously vehicles lengths vary. Vans larger than 18ft will need experienced drivers who have towed in tighter locations and know how the wheels track behind the tow vehicle. Larger vans will need to take care. Under 18ft vans will easily fit, but care also needed.
Family hobby farm on six green acres in the historical town of Clarendon (Toondilla), just half an hour south of Adelaide. Set in a gully with a winter creek (Willow Creek) running through (dry in warmer months). Conveniently located within walking distance to the main street of Clarendon - five minutes to the Bakery and 10 minutes to the Royal Oak Hotel and General Store!
The property offers the best views of Clarendon via a short walk to the top paddock. There is a limit of 2 private, protected campsites near the creek, each well-maintained and level, with scattered gum trees that provide lovely shade in the morning and afternoon.
Camp Toondilla is set up for self-contained campers who bring their own camp toilet and take all waste with them when they go. Well-behaved pets are welcome.
Plenty of options in the area to keep the outdoor enthusiast busy, including: nearby wineries (some dog friendly), beaches (Moana and Aldinga/Silver Sands can be driven on), reservoirs (Mt Bold - hiking and views) and (Happy Valley - hiking, running, kayaking, fishing), Onkaparinga National Park and Scott Creek Conservation Park, ForestrySA land (including TreeClimb, Bone Gully MTB and parkrun on Saturdays at The Avenues - Kuitpo (Your host is the Event Director).

Pindari Park is a beautiful 130 acre CLIFF TOP property that offers both North and South views of the River Murray. Situated on the western bank (cliff side) overlooking the most Northerly point of the river and the township of Cadell SA.
Our property does have a rocky underlay, due to the cliff, recommended that drill tent pegs are used.

Pindari means “From the high ground” from the aboriginal origin and was originally apart of the Nor’ West Bend Station (est. 1850) that stretched from Overland Corner to Burra. The Nor’ West Bend Station next door is now a heritage listed private residence.
With Pindari Park’s scattered native trees, saltbush and mallee shrubs bringing an abundance of wildlife to the property, sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity.
While you sit at the camps sites, enjoy watching the Cadell Ferry, appreciate birds and wildlife, or just enjoy the river boats on their journey up or down our mighty River Murray. You just might be able to catch one of the cruise boats or paddle steamers cruise past, make sure you give them a wave as they pass by.
Pindari Park has many gravel roads and tracks to follow for taking a hike/walk, however, please note that this property is on a cliff, therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times.
Each campsite has a fire pit area that can be used during May to October each year (fire ban period is November to April each year). ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY.
Take a drive into to Morgan (9 kms) and visit the Old Wharf Port and the Landseers Museum or catch the Cadell Ferry and head across the river to visit the Spook Hill Winery or to use the local boat ramp.

Take a stroll along the river, looking for canoe trees. First Nations people of the lower Murray River formerly made large canoes from the bark of Red Gum trees. They used canoes to transport goods and move long distances along the river system.
The Marne River in southeast South Australia starts below Eden Valley at an elevation of 366m and ends at an elevation of 5.06m flowing into the River Murray.
The Marne River drops around 361m over its 69.5km length.

History of Eden Valley
The land of the Ngadjuri People, Traditional Owners of the Eden Valley region.
South Australia’s beautiful Eden Valley, known as the garden of grapes and gums, is one of Australia’s premier cool climate wine regions characterised by its rugged beauty and varied topography.
Eden Valley was named by the surveyors of the area after they found the word "Eden" carved into a tree. The beautiful rolling hills of the region create a natural diversity in mesoclimate determined by altitude, aspect and slope, which also naturally impacts the soil type. It is therefore critical to match the correct grape variety and site. Overall, the region is characterised by cooler conditions than its famous neighbour, the Barossa Valley, and as such the final stages of ripening and harvesting take place in cooler temperatures.
Eden Valley wines are distinctive in their character, displaying wonderful aromatics, elegance, complexity and finesse.
Eden Valley shares a proud German heritage with it's neighbour the Barossa Valley, collectively known as the Barossa region. English and German immigrants settled here in the early to mid-19th century, establishing the township in the 1860s.
With a wine-making history dating back to 1847, Eden Valley is home to some of the world’s oldest Shiraz and Riesling vineyards.

Campground is flat terrain, suitable for simply swagging it around the campfire or plenty of room for setting up camper trailers or caravans.
You’ll love the spectacular night sky on a clear night under the Milky Way.
The campground features a long drop toilet just a short walk from campground, as well as a shelter structure with 12v solar powered points and some basic cooking and camping tools available for you to use.
There is a large campfire fire as well as a small cooking fire pit, rainwater on tap during the wet season, and plenty of firewood for you to collect and use during camping (a saw for cutting wood is provided)
Plenty of room to walk and explore, space galore for children to play and climb trees and plenty of timber lying around to build tee pees.

This property is a portion of a large working farm. We have cattle, sheep, cropping, and horses. The property is approx 12,000 acres with amazing ranges that sometimes see snow in winter.
Tent, Swag or Campervan at Heyson base camp. Enjoy the lovely Gum lined Dry Creek with blue stone ruins of times gone by.
Enjoy a short hike to the Wind Turbines and see up close how magnificent these green energy windmills work. Or enjoy a hike along the famous Heyson Trail at the top of the range. Gum Gully was the name of the gully where the original settlers met for local church worship under a large gum tree. This campsite is located Eastern Adelaide hills & adjacent to Lavender Federation Trail. Kangaroos can be seen at sunrise & at dusk.

We love camping here. Close to the city but feels like a million miles away. Beautiful hosts and big sites far enough away from each other that you don’t notice anyone else around you. Clean long drop toilets too.

We couldn’t have asked for a better campsite host! From the moment we arrived, Darren was incredibly responsive, accommodating and welcoming, making us feel comfortable and right at home.
He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave us some fantastic recommendations that really helped us make the most of our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and Darren’s friendly, helpful nature made the whole experience even better.

Absolutely stunning views from Darren’s campsites. Extremely relaxing we enjoyed watching the sun go down over the sea. Darren was lovely and checked in on us a couple of times to make sure our stay was going well. Only a short drive from all the nearby wineries which was an added bonus!

Georgie is a fantastic host, so friendly and accommodating. The camp ground was level and peaceful. Natural camp firepit, and bonus picnic table was very convenient. Feeding the farm animals (sheep and a lama) was a highlight, being woken up by roosters and kookaburras added to the experience.

Managed to get in with a HiAce camper van. 2wd accessible if it's dry. Might be a bit trickier if it's wet.

Edgehill is a fantastic location. A short drive from Adelaide and you're in the country with huge starry skies and beautiful farmland. A stunning walk along the Heysen Trail to Marschall's Hutt makes for a great half day adventure. The dogs just love the open spaces as well. This was our second stay and we will be back again. Trish and Peter are fantastic hosts.

Great camping area in an interesting and historic town. Excellent and well maintained facilities. Close to Ediacara National Park which is also fantastic and well worth a visit. Pub is great and deserves enthusiastic support in return for owners passion for keeping Beltana on the map.

We originally booked two nights at Beltana Campground… then the rain came, and we got flooded in, so two nights very happily turned into five!
Epic to see the water run
Jan, our host, wasn’t actually there during our stay, but she was always incredibly prompt, helpful and efficient with her communication. In her absence, we were very well looked after by the **“B Team” — her cousin Sam and Greg — who were absolutely amazing hosts and made us feel completely at home.
What a great little spot Beltana is.
The Beltana Progress Association has done an amazing job with the campground. The amenities are some of the best-kept campground showers we’ve come across; there’s lovely rainwater available, plenty of room, and a big communal campfire that’s perfect for sitting around at night.
Make sure you allow time to wander around the historic Beltana townsite. There’s so much to see and explore that you can easily fill a day just poking around and discovering the history of the place.
And definitely pop into the Beltana pub. The homemade carrot cake is worth the stop on its own, along with homemade sausage rolls and soup. There are big roaring fires when it’s cold and a great verandah to sit on when the weather’s good. While we were rained in, we happily whiled away a few hours playing cards and games in the lounge areas in front of the fire — there are certainly worse places to be stranded!
Access is easy, with bitumen almost all the way and only a short section of gravel.
