The Scrub Campsite located in remnant vegetation (14 minutes from Victor Harbor ) is a rustic self check in campsite as the owners do not reside near the campsite.
Campers choose their site in the designated camp spots. Sites are not allocated unless by prior arrangement.
Persons under 18, youth groups, school groups or scout groups etc. are not permitted to book at the campsite.
A communal camp kitchen, water tanks and compost toilet is available for campers use. Fire pits are located at each site. Campers will be advised of fire bans.
Wood can be purchased from the self service white ibc container for $15 for 20kgs.
Please adhere to the camp rules which are posted at each campsite.
The campsite is located on the Heysen Trail and close to many Lower Fleurieu Peninsula beaches and attractions. The popular Belicious Cafe is a 45 minute walk.
Whole campsite bookings can be made by contacting the owners.
We ask that campers respect all other campers, the land that they are camping on and follow the campers motto - Leave nothing but your footprints.

Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer
Ranges and is
on the Bremer River in Rockleigh.
This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area.
We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums-
surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated
further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and
requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags.
The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully.
We are 45 minute drive
from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region.
We are only 30 minutes drive from
Monarto Conservation Park
which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals.

Obviously vehicles lengths vary. Vans larger than 18ft will need experienced drivers who have towed in tighter locations and know how the wheels track behind the tow vehicle. Larger vans will need to take care. Under 18ft vans will easily fit, but care also needed.
Family hobby farm on six green acres in the historical town of Clarendon (Toondilla), just half an hour south of Adelaide. Set in a gully with a winter creek (Willow Creek) running through (dry in warmer months). Conveniently located within walking distance to the main street of Clarendon - five minutes to the Bakery and 10 minutes to the Royal Oak Hotel and General Store!
The property offers the best views of Clarendon via a short walk to the top paddock. There is a limit of 2 private, protected campsites near the creek, each well-maintained and level, with scattered gum trees that provide lovely shade in the morning and afternoon.
Camp Toondilla is set up for self-contained campers who bring their own camp toilet and take all waste with them when they go. Well-behaved pets are welcome.

Welcome to Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, a privately-owned conservancy focused on providing habitat for native animals to live in the wild. Since 1997 the Sanctuary has worked to conserve and protect the natural resources within its boundaries, especially the native Australian flora and fauna.
We have a BEACH camp site available that offer spectacular ocean views of the wild south coast. Campers will have access to a pit toilet during their stay. There is a 2 night maximum stay.
You will find plenty of sightseeing opportunities and interesting places to visit within easy reach of Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. Although much of the western end of Kangaroo Island was severely impacted by the January 2020 bushfires, the uniquely Australian story of rebirth and regeneration after fire is compelling.
Much of the western end of Kangaroo Island is covered in parks and reserves and it is often referred to as the natural end of the Island. You will find large areas of pristine natural bushland, numerous native wildlife, spectacular, rugged coastal cliffs and beautiful seascapes and beaches. Throughout the wilderness areas you will also discover old buildings and ruins which have been preserved because of their historical role in the development of the island. And if that is not enough to hold your interest, you can swim in the bay, fish from a sandy beach, dive some ship wrecks, surf some big waves, go sand boarding or go bush walking, Whatever your interest, you will find plenty of things to do on your next holiday at the Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.
FLINDERS CHASE NATIONAL PARK
The Flinders Chase National Park covers much of the western end of Kangaroo Island. The park has a diverse range of wildlife including Platypus, Kangaroos, Koalas and Cape Barren Geese. Flinders Chase offers stunning coastal landscapes, vast areas of wilderness and a variety of recreational opportunities. There is a network of walking trails throughout the park providing you with numerous bushwalking opportunities.
REMARKABLE ROCKS
Remarkable Rocks is an impressive cluster of sculpted granite boulders perched on a huge rounded granite dome that drops steeply away to the surging seas some 70 metres below.
ADMIRALS ARCH
Admirals Arch is a spectacular archway formed by the relentless waves pounding the cliffs and cutting a path through the cliffs. There is also a colony of New Zealand Fur seals that bask on the rocks below Admirals Arch.

Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail.
The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy!
There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes.
Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh.
There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock
and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet.
Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. Emporium cafe for the best coffee in Riverton

Pindari Park is a beautiful 130 acre CLIFF TOP property that offers both North and South views of the River Murray. Situated on the western bank (cliff side) overlooking the most Northerly point of the river and the township of Cadell SA.
Our property does have a rocky underlay, due to the cliff, recommended that drill tent pegs are used.
ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY.
Pindari means “From the high ground” from the aboriginal origin and was originally apart of the Nor’ West Bend Station (est. 1850) that stretched from Overland Corner to Burra. The Nor’ West Bend Station next door is now a heritage listed private residence.
With Pindari Park’s scattered native trees, saltbush and mallee shrubs bringing an abundance of wildlife to the property, sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity.
While you sit at the camps sites, enjoy watching the Cadell Ferry, appreciate birds and wildlife, or just enjoy the river boats on their journey up or down our mighty River Murray. You just might be able to catch one of the cruise boats or paddle steamers cruise past, make sure you give them a wave as they pass by.
Pindari Park has many gravel roads and tracks to follow for taking a hike/walk, however, please note that this property is on a cliff, therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times.
Each campsite has a fire pit area that can be used during May to October each year (fire ban period is November to April each year). ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY.
Take a drive into to Morgan (9 kms) and visit the Old Wharf Port and the Landseers Museum or catch the Cadell Ferry and head across the river to visit the Spook Hill Winery or to use the local boat ramp.

Behind your campsite there's an organic fruit orchard where the chickens forage. The property also features paddocks with roaming sheep and an alpaca. Let the host know if you would like a farm tour or to join in feeding the farm animals.
We only allow one group on our campsite at a time to ensure you have a peaceful and quiet stay.
We are a small, family owned and run hobby farm. Eggs and other farm produce for sale on request when there is surplus. Campfires allowed when restrictions aren't in place (firewood available to buy at our wood stall).

We are a Poll Merino sheep stud and a wheat/barley cropping farm at Emu Downs in the Mid North of SA. We have resurrected this character old workers quarters which we've turned into a rustic, peaceful abode for you to enjoy.
Sleeps four (double bed, single bed and old miners couch,). Bring your own bedding. There is a flushing external toilet and a bush shower (ie: a shower bag, provided).
The room with the open fire can be utilised as a kitchen/living area. We've provided crockery, cutlery, glasses, kettles and a camp oven. There is running cold rainwater into the sink. Cooking can be done on the open fire, or use the small camp gas cookers. There is also a gas BBQ in the outdoor room. If you are really brave, try your hand at camp oven cooking in the campfire. There is no power, only lighting provided from a small solar panel/battery.
Extra guests welcome in tents, swags or vans adjacent to the cottage. To ensure only one group of campers at a time, THE COTTAGE HAS TO BE BOOKED FIRST, then book the extra campers through the additional campsites listing.
Eckert's Old Place is within an easy drive to the Clare Valley wine regions and historic Robertstown, Burra and Eudunda.

Our property is located in Canuda, the terrain is hilly with several clear, flat spots good for camping. The entire 33 acres is available for you to explore on a nature walk. The property also has a bath with a hand pump from which you can pump beautiful clear drinking water. There may be some fine particles in the water which will settle or can be filtered out.
There are a number of good camping locations near the bath. Any clear area within the boundary is available to camp in.
Being a declared scrub block it is undisturbed and both brown and tiger snakes are present but if you leave them alone they will mind their own business.
Small fires are permitted, only where a fire ring exists and out of fire ban season. Check listing details for more information. Gas fires and BBQ are not permitted during total fireban.
The Canunda National Park is only a 4km drive from the property and has plenty of stunning beaches and beautiful walks you can enjoy. It is also a popular fishing spot and has some great 4WD tracks to explore.

This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area.
We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums-
surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated
further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and
requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags.
The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully.

Obviously vehicles lengths vary. Vans larger than 18ft will need experienced drivers who have towed in tighter locations and know how the wheels track behind the tow vehicle. Larger vans will need to take care. Under 18ft vans will easily fit, but care also needed.
Family hobby farm on six green acres in the historical town of Clarendon (Toondilla), just half an hour south of Adelaide. Set in a gully with a winter creek (Willow Creek) running through (dry in warmer months). Conveniently located within walking distance to the main street of Clarendon - five minutes to the Bakery and 10 minutes to the Royal Oak Hotel and General Store!
The property offers the best views of Clarendon via a short walk to the top paddock. There is a limit of 2 private, protected campsites near the creek, each well-maintained and level, with scattered gum trees that provide lovely shade in the morning and afternoon.
Camp Toondilla is set up for self-contained campers who bring their own camp toilet and take all waste with them when they go. Well-behaved pets are welcome.
Plenty of options in the area to keep the outdoor enthusiast busy, including: nearby wineries (some dog friendly), beaches (Moana and Aldinga/Silver Sands can be driven on), reservoirs (Mt Bold - hiking and views) and (Happy Valley - hiking, running, kayaking, fishing), Onkaparinga National Park and Scott Creek Conservation Park, ForestrySA land (including TreeClimb, Bone Gully MTB and parkrun on Saturdays at The Avenues - Kuitpo (Your host is the Event Director).

Welcome to Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, a privately-owned conservancy focused on providing habitat for native animals to live in the wild. Since 1997 the Sanctuary has worked to conserve and protect the natural resources within its boundaries, especially the native Australian flora and fauna.
We have a BEACH camp site available that offer spectacular ocean views of the wild south coast. Campers will have access to a pit toilet during their stay. There is a 2 night maximum stay.
You will find plenty of sightseeing opportunities and interesting places to visit within easy reach of Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. Although much of the western end of Kangaroo Island was severely impacted by the January 2020 bushfires, the uniquely Australian story of rebirth and regeneration after fire is compelling.
Much of the western end of Kangaroo Island is covered in parks and reserves and it is often referred to as the natural end of the Island. You will find large areas of pristine natural bushland, numerous native wildlife, spectacular, rugged coastal cliffs and beautiful seascapes and beaches. Throughout the wilderness areas you will also discover old buildings and ruins which have been preserved because of their historical role in the development of the island. And if that is not enough to hold your interest, you can swim in the bay, fish from a sandy beach, dive some ship wrecks, surf some big waves, go sand boarding or go bush walking, Whatever your interest, you will find plenty of things to do on your next holiday at the Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.

Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail.
The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy!
There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes.
Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh.
There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock
and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet.

Pindari Park is a beautiful 130 acre CLIFF TOP property that offers both North and South views of the River Murray. Situated on the western bank (cliff side) overlooking the most Northerly point of the river and the township of Cadell SA.
Our property does have a rocky underlay, due to the cliff, recommended that drill tent pegs are used.
ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY.
Pindari means “From the high ground” from the aboriginal origin and was originally apart of the Nor’ West Bend Station (est. 1850) that stretched from Overland Corner to Burra. The Nor’ West Bend Station next door is now a heritage listed private residence.
With Pindari Park’s scattered native trees, saltbush and mallee shrubs bringing an abundance of wildlife to the property, sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity.
While you sit at the camps sites, enjoy watching the Cadell Ferry, appreciate birds and wildlife, or just enjoy the river boats on their journey up or down our mighty River Murray. You just might be able to catch one of the cruise boats or paddle steamers cruise past, make sure you give them a wave as they pass by.
Pindari Park has many gravel roads and tracks to follow for taking a hike/walk, however, please note that this property is on a cliff, therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times.
Each campsite has a fire pit area that can be used during May to October each year (fire ban period is November to April each year). ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY.
Take a drive into to Morgan (9 kms) and visit the Old Wharf Port and the Landseers Museum or catch the Cadell Ferry and head across the river to visit the Spook Hill Winery or to use the local boat ramp.

We are a Poll Merino sheep stud and a wheat/barley cropping farm at Emu Downs in the Mid North of SA. We have resurrected this character old workers quarters which we've turned into a rustic, peaceful abode for you to enjoy.
Sleeps four (double bed, single bed and old miners couch,). Bring your own bedding. There is a flushing external toilet and a bush shower (ie: a shower bag, provided).
The room with the open fire can be utilised as a kitchen/living area. We've provided crockery, cutlery, glasses, kettles and a camp oven. There is running cold rainwater into the sink. Cooking can be done on the open fire, or use the small camp gas cookers. There is also a gas BBQ in the outdoor room. If you are really brave, try your hand at camp oven cooking in the campfire. There is no power, only lighting provided from a small solar panel/battery.
Extra guests welcome in tents, swags or vans adjacent to the cottage. To ensure only one group of campers at a time, THE COTTAGE HAS TO BE BOOKED FIRST, then book the extra campers through the additional campsites listing.
Eckert's Old Place is within an easy drive to the Clare Valley wine regions and historic Robertstown, Burra and Eudunda.

Our property is located in Canuda, the terrain is hilly with several clear, flat spots good for camping. The entire 33 acres is available for you to explore on a nature walk. The property also has a bath with a hand pump from which you can pump beautiful clear drinking water. There may be some fine particles in the water which will settle or can be filtered out.
There are a number of good camping locations near the bath. Any clear area within the boundary is available to camp in.
Being a declared scrub block it is undisturbed and both brown and tiger snakes are present but if you leave them alone they will mind their own business.
Small fires are permitted, only where a fire ring exists and out of fire ban season. Check listing details for more information. Gas fires and BBQ are not permitted during total fireban.
The Canunda National Park is only a 4km drive from the property and has plenty of stunning beaches and beautiful walks you can enjoy. It is also a popular fishing spot and has some great 4WD tracks to explore.

Steve has a couple of really nice camp spots, sheltered in the valley from the winds and sun if required. I would recommend Site 2 for a good mix of shade but gets enough sun to charge the caravan battery up with the extra portable solar panel. It was a good central location for us to visit Monarto Safari Park and have a day out in Adelaide. The Clarendon Valley is picturesque location with plenty of wineries to visit.
Steve was a great host who came to visit us a welcome us to his Hipcamp. He has a wealth of knowledge for things to do and see in a greater part of SA. I would highly recommend staying here.

We loved having a van at Steven’s place. Flat, quiet and beautiful trees surrounding. It was a bit tight getting in and out but enough room to manoeuvre once on the flat. Easy walk to town, and short drive to plenty of attractions in the area. Steven was a great help with local knowledge and tips on places to visit.

Weekend Trip to Eckert’s Old Place
Our group of 10 (some love proper camping, others not so much) very much enjoyed our time at eckerts old place.
Being able to have a quick shower, have access to a flushing toilet and shelter when windy/rainy made all the difference!
Will definitely be making a return, maybe when it’s a little cooler to cozy around the fire pit!

Had a great time! The site was great, lots of space, private and peaceful. Martin was great at communicating and offered any space that would work for our set up.
We saw some wildlife and really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.
It was also a great base with lots to do nearby and a town close by for everything you might need. We would happily go back and continue exploring.

The toilets and showers were clean, the scenery was beautiful, and the large grassy area along with the sand play area for the kids made it absolutely perfect! We absolutely loved Four Mile Farm. Jacquie was an incredibly responsive and thoughtful host. There was plenty of space, and having easy access to toilets and a shower was a real bonus. We honestly couldn’t fault anything about our stay.

Disappointing experience, felt very misleading. The “toilets” are just a few unkept porta potties. At one stage the toilets were unflushable due to no water. The showers are a few drips of water which you have to pay $2 for 4 minutes to use (this is only mentioned on the day of the booking). There aren’t enough facilities to host the amount of people that they place on the campsite. Ended up leaving a day early along with many others who shared this experience.
