We have 20 acres at picturesque McLaren Vale, backing onto the Onkaparinga Gorge National Park. Set up camp on our open field and enjoy sea views and fantastic sunsets, as well as spot local wildlife from your camp chair, including kangaroos and a few koala's from time to time and many native bird species. The National Park has numerous walking trails to explore, and we are only a few minute's drive away from many wineries, local shops, restaurants and local beaches. It's an ideal base camp to explore this popular region. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet and we kindly ask you to take all waste when you go. Pet friendly!

    Convenient location
    The camp was in a convenient location and the host was pleasant Improvements could be made to the appearance of the property as there were a lot of car bodies and junk lying around. Maybe also the excavator could be used within work hours and not at 8pm at night.

    2nd Time camping with the boys,2 Go
    We actually were lucky enough to go down the track a bit & we were tucked in behind/around Olive trees,which worked out great, privacy & sheltered with 2 dogs, it worked out well

    Such a fun stay!!!
    We loved staying at Darren's property. Amazing views, great location and such a fun shower (our kids will remember forever). A lovely part of Australia, thanks heaps Darren

    Camping at Darren’s was beautiful. Darren is a lovely guy and very helpful. The camp site is central to everything you could possibly want to see in the McLaren vale. Great views with beautiful sunsets looking out over the ocean.
