Access to campsites is Via Brown Road, not Caroline Road. Please see directions once booking is made. We are not far from The Blue Lake, The little blue is also close by, and is perfect for swimming in summer. The Umpherston Caves is literally just down the road, and is wonderful for a picnic, or on dusk feeding the possums. Sites are approx 20m x 20m, lined with trees, perfect for pitching a tent, parking a van, camper trailer, RV, or even a bus! You can even bring your boat! We are only 25 minutes away from Port MacDonnell, put your boat in, go fishing or just enjoy the beach. One van/tent per site (unless negotiated prior). Our sites are all located in a back paddock, it's quiet and peaceful. We have sites available to cater for RVs, vans and tents. The Scrub Campsite has evolved to offer adults-only camping experience. In response to strong demand for child-free accommodation, the campsite now operates exclusively as an 18+ campsite ideal for couples, solo travellers, and small groups seeking a tranquil and relaxing environment. Campers choose their site in the designated camp spots. Sites are not allocated unless by prior arrangement. A communal camp kitchen, water tanks and compost toilet is available for campers use. You can connect your gas bottle to a Kick Ass hot water shower. Fire pits are located at each site. Campers will be advised of fire bans by signage on the front gate. Campers are not permitted on high fire danger days. Wood can be purchased from the self service white ibc container for $20 for a wheel barrow load. Please adhere to the camp rules which are posted at each campsite. The campsite is located on the Heysen Trail and close to many Lower Fleurieu Peninsula beaches and attractions. There are showers, toilets, a free BBQ in the community park , mobile phone coverage and potable water available We are the closest campground to the new Nilpena Ediacara National Park. Please do not go down the 4WD only road to Beltana, proceed to the bitumen Road and follow the signs. Beltana is a State Heritage listed town in Adnyamathanha country. Beltana is important as it is the home of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, was influential in the establishment of the Overland Telegraph and was important is the states early settlement. Beltana has survived in spite of the challenges and has an excellent walking trail detailing this history for visitors. There is capacity to have a fire in a communal fire pit, but please bring your own wood. Dogs on leashes welcome. This campsite offers a safe and comfortable place for campers who are travelling through on their holiday and need somewhere to stop overnight, but two nights is recommended to give you a chance to visit this historic town. The town is significant is South Australian history and there is interpretative signage that provides the visitor with an informative trail. Whilst with us visit the new Nilpena Ediacara National Park. We have the closest camping facilities.

Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer Ranges and is on the Bremer River in Rockleigh. This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area. We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums- surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags. The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully. We are 45 minute drive from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region. We are only 30 minutes drive from Monarto Conservation Park which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals. We have 2 toilets available but please BYO toilet paper. Sorry, no pets. Please note that Pymbroke is in the Murraylands zone & fire danger season starts early. 1st November 2025.

Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. Emporium cafe for the best coffee in Riverton Important Information to know before ALL GUESTS/VISITORS MUST BE BOOKED IN BEFORE ENTERING OUR PROPERTY!!! All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead. Generators are allowed on the unpowered sites, please respect other campers with turning them off by 10 pm at the latest. No chainsaws on property. Loud music not permitted, please turn silent by 8.30PM Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times STRICTLY NO MOTORBIKES RIDDEN ON PROPERTY No rally driving. Still cheaper than other parks in the area with spectacular views available and so green out there, it’s beautiful In 2019 I was sitting in my Alfresco Area feeling that the beauty offered in front of my property should be shared to people I thought might appreciate a different aspect to Coober. Since that time I have probably had 2000+ guests enjoy what Coober Pedy Views has to offer. Whilst it remains a rustic type setting, with campers needing to be SELF SUFFICIENT (Flushing LOO with a VIEW is now available for campers without their own) I can offer Power (subject to availability) $10 pn to 6/8 sites. Digging anywhere on the property is forbidden, there are no Opals on CPVs evident when the 3 large garages were dug. Digging softens the ground making it dangerous for avalanches on the embankments and walls especially after rain that creates washouts as you can see on the front embankments. Welcome to Maverick's Rest, a serene escape tucked away on the outskirts of Peterborough, South Australia, and connected with our working alpaca farm and newly planted lavender Only 700m off the main Petersburg Road (entry off Dawson Road), Our bush campsites offer a blend of natural beauty, and rustic charm, with each site positioned amongst old native pines, offering views of both sunrise and sunset, along with the open farmland, distant hills, and animals doing their thing. Each site features a level pad to keep you out of the dirt and the prickles, while defining your spot. There are also firepits and bins on each site. We currently require all campers to be fully self-contained, providing their own toilet, water, and power for a true off-grid experience. We are a work-in-progress and constantly chipping away at making things even better! The centrepiece of the campsite is an absolutely stunning stone ruin. We wish the walls could talk to tell us its story! We are currently working on making this space accessible to all our guests. In the mean time fell free to have a look through, it makes for gorgeous photos. Want more? - Add on an Alpaca Meet and Greet Experience, where you can meet and hand-feed our friendly alpaca herd, and learn about these amazing creatures. During this experience you will meet our alpacas, llamas, camels and others. Only 2.5km from the centre of the main street, use us as a base to explore Peterborough and surrounds. PS: Maverick was the name of our favourite stud male alpaca, and the dad to many of our babies. He was on TV, in weddings and the star of many a photo shoots. A true character, you would have loved him - just like we hope you love this campsite.

Powered and unpowered sites have use of bathroom facility. Waggon Flat campers do not have access to facilities. Limited Telstra ph service and wifi. Gum Park is a working Cattle Property where our family lives and works full time. We also have a butchery on farm where we process our own beef for sale at local farmer's markets. If you would like to purchase some beef, please contact Janelle to see what is available at the time. Eggs are often available in the small fridge at the property entrance on Crows Nest Road. Gum Park is an organically run farm, so no chemicals are sprayed on our pastures or anywhere within our property. Our farm is at the top of the watershed, so we don't get run off from other land nearby. We are situated 14 km from the centre of Victor Harbor on the top of Cut Hill. Other towns close by are Pt Elliot (9km) and Mount Compass (14km). The Hipcamp campsite is situated in a paddock setting, nestled up against native scrub.

Tickera Seaview Camp Grounds are located 2kms north of the township in coastal scrubland overlooking the Beautiful Spencer Gulf. This scrubland is a part of our larger cropping property which has been in our family since the 1950s. As crop farmers we farm Wheat, Barley, Lentils and Oats. Each of the 3 camp grounds available, offer private unimpeded views over the Spencer Gulf shoreline. Tickera is the home of the Blue Swimmer Crab so bring your crab rakes and explore the shallows for your dinner. Tickera is located 2 hours north of Adelaide on the Northern Yorke Peninsula. Wallaroo is 20 min south of the camp grounds with beautiful drive on beaches. Port Broughton is. 30 min North, there are endless places to explore.

You won’t regret staying at Kim and Michael’s place. The camp area was very private and relaxing. They are great hosts and the wine tasting was exceptional. Michael has lots of knowledge of wine making and this is evident in the quality of the wine. We will be back another time.

Weekend Trip to Bryton Wood Campsite

Bit of a story so we had booked (well in advance) at a nearby site either a highland cow and shown up to find knee high grass on our site and all communal areas! We called those hosts and were not satisfied with the fact it took us an hour to get through or the response so spat the dummy and got back online and quickly booked this spot… by contrast we literally gave them 5 minutes notice yet arrived to find they must have raced to the lawnmower and were mowing their maybe 7cm grass even neater for us on arrival! Now there are some hosts that understand what campers like! Bryan and Toni were so lovely we had the place to our self and so also allowed our well trained dog off leash which she just loved. It’s just a small paddock but on a quiet road and super convenient trip to town.

A perfect location to base yourself, with easy access to both shops in Aldinga and the wine region of McLaren Vale. We based ourselves here for 3 nights and enjoyed amazing hospitality. Michael was very generous in his time, enjoying a guided wine tasting and learned a lot about how their vineyard was started and the wines have been developed. An excellent experience, we highly recommend staying here!

Quiet spot, grassy and green. Easy to park and set up, we just put the awning out and stayed by the water. Not fancy, which is exactly why we liked it.l. Calm, clean, and only an hour from Adelaide. Would come back.

Kim and Michael were lovely hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice easy walk into Aldinga and its brewery and bakery etc. We did wine tasting with Michael and loved it. Lots of interesting info about growing the grapes and we were able to see the vines grow in the 3 days we were there! Highly recommend! Thanks Kim and Michael!

Great place to stay, plenty of room to park and surrounded by vinyards. Only a small walk or ride into Aldinga shops. Recommend the wine tasting too, had fun tasting all the different wines. I’m not a big wine drinker but found all the wines we tasted Amaxing! Hosts a Lee super friendly and you are able to have a campfire also which was a plus. :)

We had a wonderful four days at Six Strings. It was lovely to be camped next to the vines and the location is great - near the wineries of McLaren Vale and the beach at Aldinga. Kim and Michael were excellent hosts - very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our schedule didn’t leave time for a Six Strings wine tasting - we’d definitely come back here so will do it then.

Great camp spot not from Aldinga beach and 10 minutes from the Shifty Lizard Brewing Co. You need to be self sufficient. Fire pit is provided. I recommend the wine tasting experience as Michael makes some great organic wine and is really passionate about his hobby.
