The Scrub Campsite located in remnant vegetation (14 minutes from Victor Harbor ) is a rustic self check in campsite as the owner does not reside near the campsite.
The Scrub Campsite has evolved to offer adults-only camping experience. In response to strong demand for child-free accommodation, the campsite now operates exclusively as an 18+ campsite ideal for couples, solo travellers, and small groups seeking a tranquil and relaxing environment. If you intend to party and create noise after 10pm this is NOT the campsite for you
Campers choose their site in the designated camp spots. Sites are not allocated unless by prior arrangement.
A communal camp kitchen, water tanks and compost toilet is available for campers use. You can connect your gas bottle to a Kick Ass hot water shower. Fire pits are located at each site. Campers will be advised of fire bans by signage on the front gate. Campers are not permitted on high fire danger days.
Wood can be purchased from the self service white ibc container for $20 for a wheel barrow load.
Please adhere to the camp rules which are posted at each campsite.
The campsite is located on the Heysen Trail and close to many Lower Fleurieu Peninsula beaches and attractions. The popular Belicious Cafe is a 50 minute walk.

All three of our private, well-spaced sites include toilet facilities and offer something unique for overnight stays or day visits with a picnic. You can even walk to the sites for a day outing and enjoy the views, the creek, and fresh air, especially at The Hut, perched atop the hills.
Topspot – a peaceful hilltop hideaway among the trees with amazing views. 4WD is required for overnight stays and good Backing Skills
The Hut – a rugged hut with three enclosed sides, perfect for sunset drinks or a picnic. Suitable for tents or camper trailers; 4WD and reasonable backing skills required.
The Laneway – beside the winter creek, ideal for small caravans, motorhomes, 2WD vehicles, or tents (please check with hosts if your vehicle is large)
Family and Animal Experiences: Pets are welcome (please keep them under control unless discussed with hosts). Families are encouraged to contact us during their stay if they’d like to meet our farm and rescue animals, and we’ll arrange a visit around feeding time. $10 from every booking goes directly toward feeding and caring for our animals, helping keep them happy and healthy.
Notes and Safety: Autumn and winter rains may make hill tracks slippery; bookings may need rescheduling for safety. Fires must be contained within the provided fire pits. During bushfire season, open wood fires are not permitted. Limited phone coverage is available at The Laneway. Please respect all guests: loud music and disruptive behaviour are not tolerated.

Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer
Ranges and is
on the Bremer River in Rockleigh.
This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area.
We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums-
surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated
further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and
requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags.
The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully.
We are 45 minute drive
from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region.
We are only 30 minutes drive from
Monarto Conservation Park
which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals.

Obviously vehicles lengths vary. Vans larger than 18ft will need experienced drivers who have towed in tighter locations and know how the wheels track behind the tow vehicle. Larger vans will need to take care. Under 18ft vans will easily fit, but care also needed.
Family hobby farm on six green acres in the historical town of Clarendon (Toondilla), just half an hour south of Adelaide. Set in a gully with a winter creek (Willow Creek) running through (dry in warmer months). Conveniently located within walking distance to the main street of Clarendon - five minutes to the Bakery and 10 minutes to the Royal Oak Hotel and General Store!
The property offers the best views of Clarendon via a short walk to the top paddock. There is a limit of 2 private, protected campsites near the creek, each well-maintained and level, with scattered gum trees that provide lovely shade in the morning and afternoon.
Camp Toondilla is set up for self-contained campers who bring their own camp toilet and take all waste with them when they go. Well-behaved pets are welcome.
Plenty of options in the area to keep the outdoor enthusiast busy, including: nearby wineries (some dog friendly), beaches (Moana and Aldinga/Silver Sands can be driven on), reservoirs (Mt Bold - hiking and views) and (Happy Valley - hiking, running, kayaking, fishing), Onkaparinga National Park and Scott Creek Conservation Park, ForestrySA land (including TreeClimb, Bone Gully MTB and parkrun on Saturdays at The Avenues - Kuitpo (Your host is the Event Director).

We are a small vineyard, winery and cellar door set on 45 acres of land. It's mostly pasture with 7 acres of vineyard. Guests are welcome to park during the week in the cellar door carpark or on the South side of the cellar door. On weekends we have a grassed strip, 8 metres wide, between a vineyard block and a windbreak. Which overlooks the valley behind and distant hills to the front. Being self contained is essential. Our toilets are only accessible when the cellar door is open. On weekends guests are welcome to come for dinner on Friday or for lunch on Saturday or Sunday, and then stay overnight, so they can enjoy a few drinks without worrying about driving home!
Apart from the cellar door cluster, there's a minimum of 100m between sites, with the off grid block being 250m away. This gives plenty of seclusion so you can enjoy your time in nature!

At The Landing you'll be surrounded by big beautiful old gum trees in a peaceful setting. You'll see a variety of bird life, kangaroos and maybe even a koala or an echidna if you're lucky.
The Landing is also situated right in the heart of the Adelaide Hills Wine region with amazing wineries, restaurants, cafes and quaint country towns right at your finger tips. Lot 100, Howard Vineyard, Murdoch Hill, Artwine, Bird In Hand Winery, Simon Tolley Wines and Barristers Block Wines are only a short drive away.
After a day of touring the region make sure you're back in time to watch the sun go down because the sunsets are spectacular.
So don't forget to pack your comfy camp chair, a bottle of wine or beer, and a cheese platter and get ready to relax and unwind at The Landing at Hay Valley.
Please read and note the following:
1) Please note our base price of $40 per night is based on two people per night, even if there is only one guest staying. It is an extra $20 per person per night for any additional adult guests or $15 per child per night.
2) We only book one group at a time at the site so if you book you'll have the whole area to yourself.
3) There are no toilet/shower facilities available so please be self sufficient. If you are staying longer than one night you need to bring your own portable chemical toilet please, as per Hipcamp’s rules.
4) There are sheep, cows and alpacas living on the site at the moment. Please don't feed them and please note we are not a petting zoo, the animals are livestock.
5)No guns or shooting are allowed on the property.

8m van. Absolutely fantastic! Kim & Michael were perfect hosts, friendly & helpful with suggestions of what to do around the area. Nice quiet area but walking distance to the town with cafes, brewery, pub, bakery & more. Under 10 mins drive to the beautiful Port Willunga beach. Immaculate spacious areas to camp overlooking the vines & neighbouring olive grove. Must do the private wine tasting (optional extra) as Michael walks you through the history of Six Strings which is really interesting.
5 stars 🌟 we loved our stay here & loved the area of Aldinga. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love this site. The winetasting on site is amazing and you cant get any closer to the local wine makers as that. The campsite is so spacious and lovely and so close to all the highlights of the area, such as top restaurants, wineries and beaches. This has been our second time and wont be our last. Thank you Michael and Kim for being such great hosts and for sharing your hidden gem with us.

Shhhh don’t tell anyone about this scenic hidden secret gem of an RV Park!
We would recommend Koala Coast Retreat 1000 times over! Tucked away between Carrikalinga and Myponga in Wattle flat this was the most wonderful two night get away for our family. Allan & Heath (aka Johnny) were so accommodating, informative and friendly.
Every RV site had expansive views, we loved our spot as we could look out over the rolling hills to the sea & watch Bluey the horse wandering his paddock. Bluey loved visitors, especially if you brought carrots. The donkeys were fun and we went on a number of the scenic bike rides/walks and saw many kangaroos & koalas. The park was great for the boys to explore on their bikes and we were able to relax & enjoy a few fire pit evenings. Forktree Gin margaritas were tasty too!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time and hope to be back very soon!

Loved our stay at Six Strings. Michael is an amazing host, he was welcoming and accommodating.
The wine tasting is a must, Michael provides a fantastic insight to the history of the vines and the process he goes through to make those great wines. It's the most personable wine tasting you will experience, a truely great experience.

Was tight with 19ft6 van but can be done a couple of small trees removed would make life easier and would not impact the environment . We stayed in site 2 very peaceful and relaxing met Steve good knowledge of the local area and very hospitable enjoyed the long weekend relaxing thanks for your hospitality

Picturesque hills feel. Beautiful location and easy to find with great instructions. Plenty of space if youe looking for an off grid adventure. Priced really well which in nice as caravan parks keep going up and up
The place didn't feel small even sharing the camp with the other site.
The kids had a ball exploring and enjoyed the camp fire with the provided pit.

You won’t regret staying at Kim and Michael’s place. The camp area was very private and relaxing. They are great hosts and the wine tasting was exceptional. Michael has lots of knowledge of wine making and this is evident in the quality of the wine. We will be back another time.

My partner and chose a great powered site over looking the trees, games room, mini golf and the ocean. We loved being new to camper van owners how much space was provided to back into the site with no posts that are often
Up at campsites.
We loved the walks although mowing needs to be done as there weren’t really paths to walk on. And to keep people safe to see snakes and lizards.
Games room is great but I think to make guests enjoy it more the ice hockey needs to be upgraded. The tv working too. Also walls have holes in them allowing snakes lizards to crawl through. And lastly a sweep needs to be done regularly to keep it looking clean.
I think it’s a great room but just needs a few upgrades and tlc.
The animals and the host definitely add to the great experience.
