We are a small vineyard, winery and cellar door set on 45 acres of land. It's mostly pasture with 7 acres of vineyard. Guests are welcome to park during the week in the cellar door carpark or on the South side of the cellar door. On weekends we have a grassed strip, 8 metres wide, between a vineyard block and a windbreak. Which overlooks the valley behind and distant hills to the front. Being self contained is essential. Our toilets are only accessible when the cellar door is open. On weekends guests are welcome to come for dinner on Friday or for lunch on Saturday or Sunday, and then stay overnight, so they can enjoy a few drinks without worrying about driving home! Only one site can be used at a time ensuring hipcampers have the place to their own!

Situated at the top of the Driveway Pinot Noir block. This site is ideal for hipcampers staying on weekends. It offers a quieter spot away from the cellar door but still with all the views and amenities. Also, if you are wanting a longer stay then you can connect to the mains water supply which is close by.

Hilltop with stunning views

This site is in addition to our carpark site. We suggest that for late bookings and arrivals, and in the wetter months. But during the late Spring, Summer and early Autumn this site is spectacular. You've got views of the upper Onkaparinga Valley to the East, with pastures, native woodland, and vineyards. To the south there's views out over pasture and woodland and vineyards. To the West You've got vineyards, pasture and the organic vegetables glasshouse of our neighbour. The morning sunrises are to die for and the evening sunsets are pretty good too. You'll be parked close to the outside dining area of our cellar door so this area is only available Sunday night through to Friday morning. Even though we want everyone to be self contained we do offer access to our cellar door toilets and the use of our outdoor space with the festoon lights on at night. During the non Fire Season we also offer the use of our fire pit (bring your own wood). Tastings of our range can be prebooked via this app or you can book it with us when you arrive.

The carpark is situated out the front (North side) of our zero net carbon eco cellar door. Guests are welcome to use the tables and chairs on the South side of the cellar door, when we aren't open with their own food and drinks. We leave the festoon lights on overnight so you can make the most of the south side. Plus you are welcome to use the cellar door toilets. There are beautiful views from the outdoor area overlooking the upper Onkaparinga Valley. You'll see cows grazing, pastures, vineyards, bush blocks and our neighbour's glasshouse who grows organic veggies and herbs for our kitchen. It's a bucolic scene showcasing the relatively small farmholdings in the area. Depending on the time of year, hay maybe being cut, vines coming into bud, fruit picking, the leaves turning golden and then the solemn but restful sleep of the countryside over winter. Over winter we have a blazing fire in the cellar door when we are open and often have a fire pit going outside.

A lovely quiet place in the hills for your overnight stay. Annabelle and James were very welcoming. We parked our caravan at the back of the car park as the cellar door was busy on arrival and went inside to enjoy a wine tasting and Tapas. The cellar door closes at 5pm so there was lots more space and we were offered other places to park up. We were happy at our current location and didn’t move as we had a lovely view of the hills. There are tables and lighting outside the venue which James left on for us so we could sit and take in the view during the evening. Just one element to note is the drive into the property is up a short but very steep gravel road. Not a worry for us as my husband is a confident driver. We are towing a 19ft caravan.

Great stay, lovely outlook over the hills. Extremely peaceful, great spot to explore surrounding towns. Had a fantastic meal and bottle of wine on the Friday evening. Thanks for opportunity to stay. Steve and Allison.

Advertised as cellar door location with no power. That is correct but also has no shade. You need to consider that if staying during hot weather. Food at cellar door was outstanding quality. Host was kind enough to leave outside toilets unlocked for us. Secluded site out of town, only problems was no shade and noisy motor bikes on main road.

Remarkable panoramic views and very accommodating hosts. Plenty of good spaces to simply put a swag or park a caravan. Great spot to spend with friends and family. Will definitely be back. 🙂

We absolutely loved our stay here. James and Annabelle are both delightful, the views are amazing and the site is private. When you stay, be sure to visit the Tilbrook Estate Cellar Door - both the food and the wines are sensational. Try the Reserve Shiraz if you enjoy red! The local village of Lobethal was great (good coffee; brewery etc) and a short drive to other beautiful spots.

We recently stayed at Tilbrook Estate Vineyard. While the campground could have used a bit of a mow, the beautiful views from the campsite made up for it. Annabelle’s warm and welcoming manner set the tone for a lovely visit, and our meal at Pica Pica restaurant was an absolute highlight — incredible food paired with a delicious sangria that quickly became a favourite. Overall, the stunning setting, friendly hospitality, and fabulous dining made our stay truly worthwhile. 🍷✨

Where to start ! James and his wife were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them Their wines are outstanding. Didn’t find a wine we didn’t like. The views from the winery were beautiful and it was lovely to have it all to ourselves at night. Compliments to the chef.. his paella was amazing. Would be worth a trip back just to taste it We had full use of their very clean toilets and a water tap was nearby. We parked by the vines but if we went again during the week we would definitely take advantage of the pitch at the winery that has spectacular views 11/10 👏👏👏
