Welcome to Our Farm – A Hidden Valley Retreat Nestled in a beautiful hidden valley on 30 acres, our farm is home to friendly dogs, horses, alpacas, llamas, rabbits, guinea pigs, camels, cheeky pigs, Galloway cows, and chooks — along with wildlife including birds, kangaroos, koalas, owls, and even an echidna! From our hills, enjoy sweeping views to the lake and the charming winter creek, where frogs create a gentle evening soundtrack. We’re just minutes from the McLaren Vale wine region, local Hills wineries, and 35 minutes from Victor Harbor’s coast. For a meal out, The Greenman Inn is 5 minutes down the road, with cozy wood fires in winter and a beautiful outdoor area in summer. All three of our private, well-spaced sites include toilet facilities and offer something unique for overnight stays or day visits with a picnic. You can even walk to the sites for a day outing and enjoy the views, the creek, and fresh air, especially at The Hut, perched atop the hills. Topspot – a peaceful hilltop hideaway among the trees with amazing views. 4WD is required for overnight stays and good Backing Skills The Hut – a rugged hut with three enclosed sides, perfect for sunset drinks or a picnic. Suitable for tents or camper trailers; 4WD and reasonable backing skills required. The Laneway – beside the winter creek, ideal for small caravans, motorhomes, 2WD vehicles, or tents (please check with hosts if your vehicle is large) Family and Animal Experiences: Pets are welcome (please keep them under control unless discussed with hosts). Families are encouraged to contact us during their stay if they’d like to meet our farm and rescue animals, and we’ll arrange a visit around feeding time. $10 from every booking goes directly toward feeding and caring for our animals, helping keep them happy and healthy. Notes and Safety: Autumn and winter rains may make hill tracks slippery; bookings may need rescheduling for safety. Fires must be contained within the provided fire pits. During bushfire season, open wood fires are not permitted. Limited phone coverage is available at The Laneway. Please respect all guests: loud music and disruptive behaviour are not tolerated.

The Laneway – Creekside Serenity Among the Trees Welcome to The Laneway, a tranquil creekside retreat nestled among beautiful trees, also on our 30-acre property. The winter creek gently lulls you to sleep, while the chorus of birds acts as nature’s alarm clock. Watch for our resident owl, and enjoy the evening chatter of the frogs — it’s an immersive country escape for all ages. The site offers several spots to pitch a tent, park a camper trailer, or RV. (Please check with the hosts if you have a large vehicle to ensure it fits comfortably.) Comfort and convenience are thoughtfully provided. A flushing camping toilet is housed in a permanent private amenities building, so you can enjoy the outdoors without compromising comfort. Families are warmly welcomed. If you or your children would like to meet our farm and rescue animals, please contact us during your stay to let us know you’re interested, and we’ll arrange a suitable time around feeding. Connecting with the animals is a highlight for guests of all ages. As with The Hut, $10 from every booking goes directly toward feeding and caring for our farm and rescue animals, helping us maintain a safe and happy home for them. Please observe a 9 pm noise curfew: loud music or disruptive behaviour is not tolerated, and all waste must be removed — leave no trace. Campsite was beautiful! The creek was flowing and we loved the sound of the birds - such a peaceful stay! The hosts were amazing and super friendly, they gave us a great interaction with the animals and we couldn’t be more grateful! The animals were all super friendly, and we had great close interactions with the camels, even better they came to visit the paddock next to our campsite! Would definitely recommend to anyone with or without kids! Is a beautiful and peaceful area with the most accommodating and welcoming hosts! We will definitely be back! 🩷

Sam and his family were incredible hosts. The space was lovely and well maintained, Sam checked in with us a couple of times to make sure we were all situated. Some friends of ours went and fed the animals with their kids and said it was a great experience. A beautiful spot, we will definitely be back.

The Laneway
The Laneway is a fantastic campsite, with plenty of flat areas to setup your tents, surrounded by big beautiful trees and abundant bird life. This is by far our favourite Hipcamp to date, from the amenities on offer (good sized fire pit, toilets, and non-potable water), the very generous gift basket of fresh eggs, biscuits, chocolates and other lollies on arrival, and the friendly hosts, Sam and Chris. They're great, respectful of privacy, and genuinely enjoyed sharing all their rescue animals with us when we asked. We got to feed, brush and and even got hugs from their extremely friendly camels, as well as interactions with llamas, pigs, alpacas, horses, cows, chickens and more! We'll definitely be back to soon with more of our friends and family!

The Laneway at Noorla Farm was perfect, nice and secluded, lots of trees and a gurgling creek nearby. My greyhound and I enjoyed going for walks and meeting the animals, it was a lovely experience. Sam and Chris were wonderful hosts, very thoughtful and kind people, I highly recommend and would love to go back.

The stay was awesome! A very nice fenced off area for our dogs to stay off lead providing they didn’t bother the animals in the adjacent paddocks. They provided us with wood and a welcome pack which was very thoughtful. However, we received an accusing message that they were disappointed we’d “taken from their paddock” but then didn’t explain leaving us very worried what we’d done or understanding what was meant.

We had a wonderful stay at Noorla farm. We booked the Hut site but due to rainy weather we were provided an alternative which is beautiful and peaceful as well. Sam has been so friendly and welcoming..showed us around the farm and introduced us to her lovely animals. We loved her dogs as well. We will definitely go back again soon.

Camping here was so wonderful it was a perfect getaway, not too far from the city with a beautiful drive there. Sam and Chris were fantastic, and we got to meet and cuddle camels, cows, chickens, llamas, guinea pigs and the three most beautiful dogs amongst other animals! I wasn’t expecting such a thoughtful and generous experience for just a one night trip but it was truly so well worth it. Not to mention the lovely gift basket they gave us on arrival (the cookies were amazing!) Thank you so so much for such a lovely trip! Definitely worth a visit!!

We had a wonderful weekend camping at The Hut with our young family. We felt like we were on top of the world with the incredible view! We were really grateful for the Hut during rainy times and the kids loved feeding the farm animals. The adjacent loo was really nice and clean, very flash camping conditions! Would love to go back when fire season is over to enjoy the beautiful fireplace looking out to the hills.

I went camping at Sam’s farm last week and it was such a wonderful, relaxing experience 🌿 The environment is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature with fresh, clean air that instantly helps you unwind. The farm is very well maintained—everything was clean and tidy, which made the stay even more comfortable. During the day, the views are stunning, and at night, the sky is full of stars. The scenery is truly perfect ✨ It’s the kind of place where time seems to slow down. Highly recommend it if you’re looking to escape the city and enjoy some peace and quiet!

The hosts were incredible, gave us a little gift basket upon arrival! They set up a gazebo over our swag because it was raining and we didn't have one. They invited us to feed the animals with them and all around very friendly and accommodating. The stay was quiet with lots of native wildlife around, could spot all kinds of birds. It's also near a lovely winery.

Absolutely loved my two nights staying at "Topspot" at Noorla Farm. The views were magnificent and it was so peaceful. There was another camping spot just down from me but I didn't hear the campers much at all. The hosts were great and I was able to have a tour of the farm and meet the animals (the cows and the camels were my favourite!!) I would definitely stay here again when I am back over this way. Thanks!!!!!
