Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
With the site at the rear of the property away from the road, leave the rest of the world behind while you soak up the serenity. You will be able to relax on very large sites, along with the modern amenity block inclusive of showers and toilets, a full accessible toilet for those that need the extra space, plus large bench space and basins with power. At this time the camp kitchen is limited to a sink and bench with hot and cold water only. But rest assured, further improvements are coming soon. Located centrally within the world famous wine region, campers can expect a short drive to historical Willunga for the Farmers Market, boutique shops and cafes, Aldinga Beach, Silver Sands, and local shopping centres. For the cyclists, runners and walkers, this property is located next to the Willunga to Aldinga Beach shared user path. This connects to other paths throughout the region, including the popular Shiraz Trail. This campground is uniquely positioned and surrounded by the vines and trees of the McLaren Vale region. With many pre-European gums, the bird life is exceptional, and you be greeted by the occasional shy kangaroo. With many nearby wineries, distilleries, and breweries, you will not be short of something to do!

This site is uniquely positioned and surrounded by the vines and trees of the McLaren Vale region. With many pre-europian gums, the bird life is exceptional, and be greeted by the occasional shy kangaroo.  With the site at the rear of the property, leave the rest of the world behind while you soak up the serenity. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Located centrally within the world famous wine region, campers can expect ease of access and a short drive to historical Willunga for the Farmers Market, boutique shops and cafes, Aldinga Beach, Silver Sands, and local shopping centres. With many nearby wineries, distilleries, and breweries, you will not be short of something to do! For the cyclists, this property is located on a popular route for cycling throughout the region, being nearby the Shiraz Trail, and midway between Aldinga Beach, Willunga and McLaren Vale.

Great location, close to many wineries - felt like 10-15 mins to everything including the Main Street of town. Lots of space to spread out and maintain privacy. Sheltered from the wind. Host was great to deal with. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely campground with massive sites so you can pick sun or shade as you wish (we have solar panels so need the sun!!). Very quiet and private so even if there is a camper in the adjacent site you are still well away from them. The camp is ideally located and central to stunning beaches, wineries etc. We thoroughly recommend a visit here.

Great location for checking out the area. McLaren Vale, Willunga, Victor Harbour & other beautiful coastal towns all close by. 7 other vans when we arrived, heaps of room seemed to be 3 designated spots in each paddock so room to spread out. Trees for shade if needed. & potable water available. Very peaceful. We loved it so did our doggo. Would stay again. Thanks Alistair (great host)

Great location only 5 minutes to Willunga and 10 minutes to the beach and Wineries. The sites are flat with plenty of space, each with 25mm BSP water connection. Alistair was friendly and welcoming, we would stay here again.

A perfect little corner for us

This was exactly what we needed: a quiet corner to pull up overnight after watching the tour down under. Every caravan park was either booked or wanted multiple night bookings. This spot offered a nice clean flat corner of a paddock fenced in by vines and trees (and a wire fence) . Super easy to get to Willunga, Aldinga and McLaren Vale. Would book again without hesitation. I believe there is water available but we were self sufficient.

Camping among the vineyards

Alistair was very accommodating. It was lovely to stay among the vines at McLaren Vale and camp spots in the area are hard to come by. It was fairly busy with other campers coming and going, but there is a large space allocated to each in various paddocks so had the feeling of space. Thank you Alistair for a lovely stay.

Vines as far as the eye can see…….. Great location to see not only Maclean Vale but the whole peninsula and still be in Adelaide city if you wish within in an hour. Great spacious sites, good for bigger rigs, only 9 in total. Water taps…. We would stay again for sure….. Very close to some amazing wineries and restaurants

This is a great base to explore Mclaren Vale. Close proximity to wineries and beaches. Bring at fittings if you want connection to water, otherwise Alistair provides hose near exit. The sites are beautifully sign posted. Sites are huge (the entire 1/3 of the paddock). We went to Port Willunga beach and explored the old fisherman’s huts/caves. For a white lover with young kids we explored Fox Creek, The Rabbit Hole, Never Never/Chalk Hill, Dowie Doole, Maxwell, Oliver’s of ratings and Angove. Other friends also raved about Woodstock, Lazy Balerina and Beach Road too.

Great location to explore the area. Shady sites in the paddocks. Plenty of room for big setups although the windy track in and gateways just need lining up to go through. There are some interesting aromas from the industrial composting facility on a neighbouring property depending on wind direction. Overall, we would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Alistair was a great host. The property is private but close to a lot of attractions and facilities. We were able to fill up our water tanks while here also. The sunsets were very pretty over the neighbouring grape vines.

What a great spot to relax and unwind while being only minutes from the wineries. The host was accommodating and has a lovely property with sites large enough you could easily forget you had neighbors. The view from the caravan windows of the gorgeous vineyard was perfect.

It was a nice open area with next door campers more 20 m away at least and didn't hear any noise at all. Great being able to just rock up and set up without issues and check out by 12:00 means no rush in the morning.
