In 2019 I was sitting in my Alfresco Area feeling that the beauty offered in front of my property should be shared to people I thought might appreciate a different aspect to Coober. Since that time I have probably had 2000+ guests enjoy what Coober Pedy Views has to offer.
Whilst it remains a rustic type setting, with campers needing to be SELF SUFFICIENT (Flushing LOO with a VIEW is now available for campers without their own) I can offer Power (subject to availability) $10 pn to 6/8 sites.
Digging anywhere on the property is forbidden, there are no Opals on CPVs evident when the 3 large garages were dug. Digging softens the ground making it dangerous for avalanches on the embankments and walls especially after rain that creates washouts as you can see on the front embankments. Our Public Noodling Area is the only place in Coober safe to dig freely.

Absolutely amazing location, view, sunset, sunrise!!!!
Small group of 6-8 vans all enjoying the same outlook v’s the crowds at the local caravan park.
Flushing toilet on site, you need water though can run your sullage hose over the edge and pay a little extra for power if needed.
We filled up water in town which was easy at the pay station and there is a dump point there also.
Fire pit provided and plenty of places to get wood.
Karen is lovely and we would most certainly use this as must stay when travelling up and down the centre road.

Karen is a lovely lady she replies fast and is very welcoming i had to book last minute and everything just happened seamlessly. Karen's property gives an amazing view of landscape one of the best vies I've woken up to there is a toilet i just got a basic toilet and having a little girl with me the toilet was very handy there are fire pits we made use of them and definately would stay there again as we come back down from ularu

We had a fantastic stay here for two nights! The views were beautiful, and we really loved the location—it was just far enough out of town to feel peaceful while still being a short drive into Coober Pedy.
Karen was a wonderful host. She was super friendly and gave us great local tips, including where to pick up firewood, which was really helpful. The facilities were clean and well maintained.
We’d definitely stay here again the next time we’re passing through Coober Pedy. Highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect. The position of Karen’s place is ideal. Close enough to drive into town and a good distance to have a quiet time.
Views are amazing with the Sunrise the cream in the cake. Karen is very friendly with recommendations of what to do.
We would not hesitate to stay at Coober Pedy Views on any return trips.

Karen’s property is the best in Coober Pedy. The sites are spacious, each site has a fire pit, the views are magnificent but best of all is Karen, she is a beauty. I don’t think we would have made it to William Creek without her advice on how to prepare. On our return we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Great flat area. Everywhere is close to toilet. Was windy the first night, lovely the second! Fire pits are provided but you need to bring your own wood. Sunset and sunrises are magnificent!

It’s a beautiful spot. Rolling hills, cliff face, beautiful creek/stream and not too far from Adelaide!
The compost toilet was very good (super clean and not smelly at all!!) and had a sensor light for night time visits.
Plenty of spots for camp fires and dogs allowed! It was excellent.
