Our property is located in Canuda, the terrain is hilly with several clear, flat spots good for camping. The entire 33 acres is available for you to explore on a nature walk. The property also has a bath with a hand pump from which you can pump beautiful clear drinking water. There may be some fine particles in the water which will settle or can be filtered out.
There are a number of good camping locations near the bath. Any clear area within the boundary is available to camp in.
Being a declared scrub block it is undisturbed and both brown and tiger snakes are present but if you leave them alone they will mind their own business.
Small fires are permitted, only where a fire ring exists and out of fire ban season. Check listing details for more information. Gas fires and BBQ are not permitted during total fireban.
The Canunda National Park is only a 4km drive from the property and has plenty of stunning beaches and beautiful walks you can enjoy. It is also a popular fishing spot and has some great 4WD tracks to explore.

Perfectly central to everything the Limestone Coast has to offer, the property is only an 8-minute drive from the nearest town of Millicent. The magnificent Millicent Golf Course is just a short drive through the pines if that’s your thing.

Black cockatoos and a wide variety of bird species, kangaroos, wallabys, rabbits, ring tail possums, wombats, sugar gliders take up residence amongst the cypress and gum trees surrounding this property.
Favourite time of the day is hearing the resident kookaburra's laughing.

You can walk amongst the cool quiet forests uncovering its secrets, gaze at the star filled sky at night and awaken to the soothing sounds of the resident bird choir. Meet our 2 pet sheep who love a gentles scratch on the head.
Owner of the property Nick is a pilot living in Europe, the property is managed by Kath a very experience holiday accommodation manager who knows what it takes to satisfy a range of guests needs and privacy. Kath lives on property so never far away if need her for anything.
The main house on property is listed as a popular holiday accommodation house, sleeping 6 guests. We also have a glamping tent on property for seperate hire to the house.
Our Camp site area for fully self sufficient campers is available in the paddoch area away from the main house block. We aim to ensure the privavy of the house guests by not entering the house block.
Campers have access to a rain water tank for drinking water however no hook ups.
15 mins from Mount Gambier and the home of the famous Blue Lake. Explore the many sink holes that are close to the property. 1 hour drive from the ever popular Coonawarra Wine Region and beaches are all within 30 - 45 min away.
Enjoy star filled nights, stunning sunsets and sunrises and breathing in the fresh air surrounding Bella Mia.

We enjoyed our stay at Beachcamp - it accommodated us perfectly fulfilling our needs and requirements. Convenient, central and easily accessible, few other campers therefore private and quiet - would recommend to those travelling through looking for a safe quiet retreat to re-energise!

Had a great time! The site was great, lots of space, private and peaceful. Martin was great at communicating and offered any space that would work for our set up.
We saw some wildlife and really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.
It was also a great base with lots to do nearby and a town close by for everything you might need. We would happily go back and continue exploring.

Solid camping experience - plenty of room so you don’t feel to close to other campers. Right by freeway but not too many cars so not much of an issue. Very windy which I assume is common but nonetheless a good camping xp.

I had a wonderful experience at this Hipcamp spot, nestled near a beautiful pine forest close to Mount Gambier. The location was incredibly accessible, and the property itself was fantastic. The host was welcoming, and everything was well-maintained, making it a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway.
