One camp site (one group only). The site accepts 8 people but if you are just two people you will have the place to yourselves except for the kangaroos, wallabies, emus, echidnas and birdlife. The campsite is situated next to our family's holiday farmhouse that we visit sometimes, but only when there are no guest campers. There is a fire pit with grill plates available to cook over the fire (note open fires cannot occur when fire restrictions are in place). Campers have access to the flush toilet, hot shower and kitchen in the house. The house is a work in progress. We are slowly renovating the house, so it is a bit rough but it is clean and functional and you will have the place to yourselves. Please respect the locked private areas of the house. Campers are expected to bring their own cooking pots, plates, cutlery, camp chairs, etc. Only 4 km from Moyston where you can get great coffee and visit the historic Mine Walk. Halls Gap is 35km away or head through the mountains over Redmans Road that takes you the scenic route to Halls Gap (2WD accessible in dry weather). Kalymna Falls and picnic ground is a beautiful 15 min bush drive from the farm. This was our second visit to the campsite and was as good as we remembered! We saw so many kangaroos drinking at the dam, as well as parrots, an eagle and all sorts of little birds. Noor is an amazing host and took great care of making sure we were ok in hot weather conditions. I think this will become a regular spot for us!

Weekend Trip to Fulham Homestead

We enjoyed camping at Fulham, we had the place to ourselves which was nice to relax. No fish for us, but we saw plenty flapping about. If you are a light sleeper, we recommend ear plugs as the cicadas and the cockatoos are pretty active and can get quite loud.

Weekend Trip to Yarriambiance

What a gem of a spot! Thanks for opening this space up for those wandering in the Wimmera, Paul & Keren, you're very kind. It's a privilege to be able to pitch our tent at your neck of the woods (love the name Yarriambiance too!). We were breathtaken pretty much the entire time camping underneath some very happy old trees visited by many birds and bees throughout the day, and feeling very comforted by the care you've put into the camping spot. Again, it was such a privilege, thank you! Wishing you and your friends well and safe this summer season & all the campaigning ahead xx We'll be looking forward to spending time at Yarriambiance again!

This was our 2nd stay at Farmland camp and would definitely recommend. We are fully self contained campers but those that aren't there are toilets and shower on site. Steven is a great host and very helpful. There is plenty of space to set up camp.

Weekend Trip to Grampians Park Station -Grand Views

We stayed one night on our way back from Adelaide, early January 26. Was nice and quiet with awesome views of the Grampians. Would definitely recommend and Tom came and introduced himself to make sure we had settled in. The only downside to this ( not Tom’s fault) a group of 7 arrived which was fine. The next morning they used the amenities for one and half hours between 7 people. Playing their music in there and turned the showers into the Ganges river. No respect shown to other campers. I noticed they gave a thumbs down in their reviews. Well a huge thumbs down to them and beware if they book your hipcamp. Hopefully hosts can rate their guests as well. Thanks again Tom👍 we will be back with friends next time.

3 nights at Farmland Camp

We recently stayed at this campsite and it was nothing short of extraordinary. Steven went completely out of his way to show us the best site on the property, and it did not disappoint. The spot had incredible views overlooking the creek and, despite us visiting during the busiest New Year’s Eve period, it still felt private and peaceful. Steven was an absolute pleasure to deal with, communication was effortless, and his generosity and genuine care truly elevated our experience. His giving nature turned what would have been a great camping trip into one of the best trips we’ve ever had, and that’s not something I say lightly after having done the full lap of Australia. Everything about this stay exceeded expectations. The location, the atmosphere, and the host all combined to create something really special. I would 100% recommend this spot to anyone looking for an unforgettable camping experience, and I will definitely be back. Side note: Steven’s dog was incredibly friendly and adorable, always happy to come by for some pats, which was a lovely bonus. Highly, highly recommended.

As always, the Grampians is a great place to connect to nature. There is something very comforting about the Australian bush that I find calming and uplifting - and the Grampians gives this in spades.
